Long road to recovery: Lamar's organs are reportedly damaged
Lamar Odom's organs were reportedly so badly damaged by his near-fatal overdose at a Las Vegas brothel that he is on dialysis and may need a kidney transplant, it was claimed last night.
The former NBA star is still battling back to health after waking from a coma following his collapse at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch in Nevada earlier this month.
PEOPLE reports that Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband caught pneumonia which reportedly left permanent scarring on his lungs.

The site also claims he is undergoing dialysis while he is too weak to be considered for a kidney transplant.
PEOPLE quoted a source as saying: "The pneumonia was a huge setback, and now there's worry about permanent scarring of the lungs.
"His kidneys are still not functioning correctly, but he's nowhere near strong enough to even think of a transplant, so he's on dialysis."

Battling back: Lamar is being treated in hospital in LA
The news came as it emerged has allegedly tested positive for cocaine in bloodstaken from the 35-year-old at the time of his collapse.
According to a report by TMZ, law enforcement sources at the Nye Country Sheriff's Department received the results of tests taken from the NBA star while he was at the Sunrise hospital in Las Vegas. They allegedly show that cocaine WAS in Odom's system when he was admitted to the medical facility.
Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband was treated at the hospital for six days before he was moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last week.

Drugs: Lamar Odom allegedly tested positive for cocaine
It was previously confirmed by the police department dealing with the case that if cocaine was discovered that Lamar could be prosecuted.
Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly confirmed last week that it was "distinctly possible," that Odom could be prosecuted if he tested positive for cocaine.
It comes after the two prostitutes who raised the alarm after finding Lamar Odom unconscious told police that they heard him snorting an unknown substance while in the brothel.
In a search warrant affidavit, Nye County Sheriff’s Detective Michael Eisenloffel gave sworn testimony, with the belief that Lamar had “ingested” illegal drugs.
During the testimony, which took place at 10:15pm on October 13th (the same day Odom had been discovered unconscious), Eisenloffel revealed that he had spoken to Love Ranch prostitutes Ryder Cherry and Monica Monroe.

Scene: The Love Ranch in Nevada where Lamar collapsed
In the transcript of the telephone conversation, the detective revealed that the former NBA star, who was recently moved to another hospital in Los Angeles, had been filmed taking a mystery pill.
"During his initial time at the Love Ranch, he was observed both by eyewitnesses as well as on video surveillance camera to be ingesting an unknown substance in the form of an unidentified pill, which he obtained from his pocket in a plastic bag that was unmarked," Eisenloffel told the judge.

Divorce halted: Khloe Kardashian is concentrating on Lamar's recovery
After his testimony, a judge decided it was possible that Lamar had taken illegal drugs and signed the request for the warrant.
In the short time after Lamar’s near-death scare, authorities were told by staff from the brothel that Lamar had taken herbal Viagra and alcohol during his four-day stay.
Last week, Khloe Kardashian called off divorce proceedings.
The 31-year-old has remained by her husband's side throughout his ordeal and despite splitting two years ago.
Lamar has had a well documented struggle with substance abuse and was a determining factor in the breakdown of his four year marriage.
According to reports today, Khloe has made it clear to Lamar that she'll help him through his recovery, but only if he turns his back on his drug past for good.
