A long-time assistant of Hollywood producer Joel Silver has been found dead in Bora Bora, according to reports.
Carmel Musgrove, who was just 28, was in Bora Bora with Joel and his family who had been helping close friends Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux celebrate their wedding.
A local newspaper says the assistant was swimming by herself in the sea before she disappeared. She was later found dead on the beach.
Authorities believe she drowned but an autopsy is yet to be performed, according to reports.
A spokesperson confirmed the sad news to Us Weekly, saying: “Joel Silver, his family and his staff are devastated by the passing of Carmel Musgrove.
"Carmel was a dear friend and respected colleague with a very bright future ahead of her. They will all miss her dearly."
Joel Silver was one of many of Jennifer and Justin's friends who joined the stars in Bora Bora after their top-secret wedding.
Carmel started out as an intern at Joel's company Silver Pictures before becoming his assistant after six months. She had been working with him for more than three years.
Silver, 63, is best known for his work on Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and The Matrix Trilogy.
