Michael Jordan has been revealed as the world's highest earning former athlete.
The basketball legend retired (for the final time) 12 years ago, but that hasn't diminished his earning power.
Jordan pocketed $100million (£63.9m) in 2014 from commercial deals, largely involving sportswear giant Nike.
In a recent court case it was revealed that Jordan received $480m (£306.8m) from Nike between 2000 and 2012.
He also claims, meanwhile, that they have to pay him $10m ($6.39m) every time they use his name in an advert.
But David Beckham's business empire means he is catching up fast with Jordan.
In 2013, Forbes estimated the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder's earnings at $51m (£32.6m), meaning his earnings increased by around 47 per cent in a year.
Beckham's business interests includes a large stake in his wife's successful clothing company, Miami FC and Haig Club (Whiskey).
His full portfolio, however, includes everything from Beckham branded products to apps.
Third in the list is former golfer Arnold Palmer, whose businesses include a range of golf courses throughout the world
