Landlady’s children cut tenant’s private part

A young man identified as Yinka Offehin is currently battling for his life at a private hospital in Lagos after the children of his landlady, named Damilola Olaleye & Solomon Olowogbemi, allegedly attacked him cutting off his scrotum, Punch reports

The alleged attack took place at Popoola Street, off Abaranje Road in the Ikotun area of Lagos and was said to have happened as Offehun was sleeping with his family in his room. The tenant was said to have attacked by the landlady's children over a disagreement he had with their mother, who'd asked him to vacate her compound immediately
Narrating what led to the unfortunate incident, Yinka's wife, Bisi Offehin said...continue...

On Thursday morning, around 3am, while we were sleeping, we heard loud bangs on our door. We initially thought they were armed robbers because the house beside ours had recently been robbed. When they entered, we saw they were children of our landlady. They began destroying our electronics and other property. There were two of them. One held a knife in his hand. They took N800, 000. They descended on my husband and he also fought back. In that confusion, my husband shouted and we saw that one of the attackers had cut Yinka’s scrotum. I can’t say what they used to cut off my husband’s scrotum.”
She said even in so much pain, her husband was able to hold on to one of his attackers till dawn, while the other fled the scene.
Offehin, while narrating what led to the attack, said;
“I was asked to leave the house immediately, but after the intervention of the traditional ruler of the community, I was asked to leave by the end of August. But that decision did not go down well with the children of my landlady and they continued to make trouble with me. I was already planning to leave their house and had even contacted an agent when they attacked me without any provocation. I want the government to fight for me,” he said.
Doctors at the hospital where he is being treated say they have stitched the scrotum but that the wound would take up to three months to heal. Family sources say they have spent over N60,000 for his treatment and that they have been told by doctors that if the wound does not heal, he might have to undergo a surgery.
When contacted, father of the suspects who is a pastor asked that the matter be left for God to decide as both suspects are now in police cell
"I am sorry; I can’t speak with you on this matter. You know the matter is already with the police and those they accused of committing the offence are in the police cell. So, what do you want me to say? I was told they are taking the matter to court. Let’s leave everything to God.” he said
The Lagos state Police spokeswoman who confirmed the incident said both suspects are currently in police custody
"It was around 3am, while the victim was sleeping in his room, that one Solomon Olowogbemi and Damilola Olayeye, the children of his landlady, came in and started fighting with him. In the process, they inflicted injury on him with an unknown object. The skin of his scrotum was partly cut off, thereby exposing one of his testicles. The two suspects have been arrested and detained and the victim taken to a hospital.” she said

Orlando Bloom UFC Legend Offers to Train Actor ... We Can Take Bieber!!

EXCLUSIVE
0730_foresst_griffin_orlando_bloom_gettyOrlando Bloom has some serious muscle on his side -- UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin who tells TMZ Sports he wants to TRAIN the actor how to fight so he can take Bieber the next time they face off.

The 35-year-old former Light Heavyweight champ says he watched the footage of Bloom and Bieber going at it in a fancy Ibiza restaurant and says he was unimpressed with Bloom's attack.

"He threw a weak-ass punch!"

But Griffin says he's a fan of Orlando's movies and wants to help ... saying, "He can come to Vegas anytime to train with me. If they ever fight again, I can show him some moves so he can win."

"But I gotta warn Orlando ... I think Floyd Mayweather Jr. is gonna train Bieber -- and that guy's a monster."

Still, Griffin says if the two stars do ever square up, Orlando would have the advantage -- "He's not big, but it looks like he has the reach. Then again, everyone looks big next to Justin Bieber."

Justin to Orlando I Balled Now You Bawl

0730-justin-bieber-orlando-instagram-02

Justin Bieber has declared Instagram war on Orlando Bloom ... with a pic of the Brit dissolving into tears.

It's Bieber's second Instagram salvo ... hours after Orlando took a swing at him at Cipriani restaurant in Ibiza he posted a sexy pic of Miranda Kerr and then quickly took it down.

Miranda -- the Helen of Troy in this war -- was the trigger for the bar scuffle.  It's clear Orlando felt Justin was banging her while they were still man and wife.

We'd say there's no use crying over Miranda, but then again ...

Orlando Bloom Tries To Punch Justin Bieber — Watch The Fight

On July 29, a video emerged which showed Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom getting into a little bit of a scuffle at Cipriani restaurant in Ibiza, with sources claiming that Orlando swung his fist at the Biebs. Well, a new video proves that Orlando did just that! Check it out!

Orlando Bloom, 37, is busted — in a new video, he can be seen swinging his fist at Justin Bieber, 20. The first video released of their scuffle at Cipriani in Ibiza on July 29 showed them a little too close to each other — antagonizing each other — and eyewitnesses revealed that Orlando even got a little violent. However, there was no real proof… until now. Watch below!

Orlando Bloom Punches Justin Bieber In New Video — Did His Swing Connect?

Orlando and Justin’s fight was allegedly over their respective exes, Miranda Kerr, 31, and Selena Gomez, 22. Before Orlando got physical, Justin told Orlando “she was good,” referring to his alleged hookup with Miranda, according to Page Six.

Justin Bieber Called Out By Ex For Sleeping With Her...

Justin Bieber gets called out by an ex for hooking up with her friends while Selena Gomez is still hurting from their breakup. Starring Chloe...

As an eyewitness previously reported to HollywoodLife.com, “in mid-throw Orlando realized what he was doing and pulled back, making it look awkward and something that didn’t connect.” You can see from the video, obtained by TMZ, that that’s pretty much what happened — we feel fairly confident that Justin would have hit the floor had Orlando’s fist properly connected with Justin’s face.

Orlando Bloom Thinks Justin Bieber ‘Needs To Be Put In His Place’

Not only did Justin reportedly hook up with Orlando’s then-wife in Oct. 2012, butOrlando was seen on a date with Selena in April following one of her many breakups with the Biebs.
When Orlando and Miranda announced their split in late 2013, reports surfaced alleging thatJustin played a part in their breakup, so we can’t really blame Orlando for his anger if the reason for both his split from Miranda and his fight with Justin are true.
Orlando is not a violent person,” a source previously revealed toHollywoodLife.com. “However, he will not tolerate a person, Justin Bieber included, who doesn’t respect women.” Indeed, if Justin really did say “she was good,” that’s pretty disrespectful!
“He thinks Justin needs to be put in his place andOrlando is well aware that Justin has badmouthed him before,” our source finished.
What do you think, readers? Was fight really about the ladies in their lives? Did Orlando’s fist connect or did he rethink his actions mid-swing? Let us know!

Jo'burg woman strips naked and hugs Madiba's statue in Nelson Mandela Square

altPASSERBYS in the Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg were subjected to a spectacle earlier today when a woman stripped naked and hugged the statue of Madiba as a way of paying tribute to the icon.

Nelson Mandela, the world's most popular man over the last century, passed away in December last year and just before his death, a statue was erected in his honour. Placed in the Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg, the statue attracts a lot of visitors on a daily basis and a tourist resort has built up around it.

Today, a young African woman shocked other tourists and local people when she stripped stark naked and leant against the statue. According to staff working at nearby restaurants, the woman’s actions, caused a huge frenzy.

Male waiters got their orders wrong and a male customer was hit on the head by his wife for getting up to take a closer look. Nelson Mandela Square marketing manager Megan Meas, said a security guard had asked the woman to put on her clothes, which she did before leaving the square without answering any questions.

Ms Meas said: “This was an unauthorised incident conducted by a private citizen in her personal capacity on our property.”

Khotso Tladi, a chef at the nearby Baglios restaurant, added: “She didn’t have a nice body, everything was saggy and she had hair. Afroman was better.”

It does not appear that the woman was charged with any offence and her whereabouts are currently unknown. After she was left the square, life returned to normal with tourists taking pictures of the statue as usual.

Not again. Another female suicide bomber blew herself up at Aminu Kano College of Islamic Studies this afternoon July 30th around 2.45 as students were checking their results in the school.

Have you guys noticed how it's now women blowing themselves up?

Monster ping-pong rally will blow your mind, or at least make you smile

If you're like us, ping-pong was something you played in a buddy's house after school, and it took about five points for the game to devolve into firing-squad target practice, where the goal was to hit your opponent, not the table.
But this is the Commonwealth Games, and these two table tennis competitors could hit the ball, the table, their opponent, and probably even a postage stamp from the other side of the arena. Behold the most ridiculously precise and athletic 40 seconds you're likely to see all day.
In the Games, currently taking place in Glasgow, Nigeria's Segun Toriola (in the green) waited out Singapore's Ning Gao in the 41-shot rally. Gao threw everything he could at Toriola, from hammer-slams to drop shots, and Toriola hung in there. And Gao didn't throw his paddle at Toriola, which is probably what we would have done.
Unfortunately for Toriola, Gao would go on to win the match. But at least Toriola's rally will live forever on YouTube.

Talking about Ebola control and prevention within the cities in Africa

Talking about Ebola control and prevention within the cities in Africa, I get worried and thought about it and I asked myself is this possible? And I answered myself back that it’s impossible due to rate of poverty after reading from www.ebolafacts.com this is my worries.
How and why? I write as below.
1.     Over Population
I remembered how I grew up the urban communities, where a house build on a plot or half plot of land rather carries numbers of rooms from ten to twenty rooms plus, different families with at least two bachelors in the house and the rest families with three kids minimum and six in some cases in a room plus the father and mother, on a street this type of houses are mostly 97% built, tell me if a person contact a Ebola in such Building, what is the chances of it not spreading round that community within one week?
No matter how worst one’s family member gets sick and down, the loved ones will still get close to them, if Ebola can be contracted by hand shake and staying under the same roof with such patient as the news in spreading round town, then before the patient is reported to the hospital the family members and neighbors will be infected.

Our General Hospitals: When last did you visit one? The population on a morning queue only is not funny, if an Ebola patient who doesn’t know the nature of his/her illness is on that queue and sharing taught and words with someone next to him/her on that queue which commonly happen when you are in such public queue after hand shake and close sitting next to people on those long chairs and you didn’t think of washing your hands, what’s the chances of not getting infected? Or in a case whereby an unknown Ebola patient fell down on that queue or in a public place and you rushed to pick or check on him/her well being, because there are still good Samaritans in Nigeria and that person sweat robbed your palm or part of your body, what’s the chances of that Good Samaritan not getting infected?
2.     SHARING
I also remembered very well in the urban communities when our fathers in the compound sit together in the compound to do a brief tenant and landlord meeting and if they have good friendship relationship in such compound there’s always a green bottle with gin or some kind of herbal drink whereby those who drink alcohols will share shots with one small cup all in the name of there is love in sharing, what if an Ebola patient is amongst them and he was the first to use that cup and the funny part is you don’t drink and rinse such cup, immediately Papa Nonso turn his, Baba Biliki will turn his own too and it goes round, so it goes amongst the you in the neighborhood you will see a gathering where boys sit and gisting and there are sharing from one bottle of drink be it herbal or whiskey no one is waiting for a cup and young boys are found of hand shaking no matter the condition the next brother is if they see you before talking at all a hand shake has gone round and some time the hand shake are clockwise.

3.     POVERTY
Talking about poverty is also related to sharing under some condition, I remembered when going to the public school and you have lavish your small token your parents gave to you to school and it’s break time you are so tasty and don’t have a dime on you to buy a sachet of pure water the next option is (GUY ABEG DRINK REMAIN FOR ME) I have been through that before because it’s a turn by turn thing, today you’ll be buoyant in school the next day you’ll go broke and your group of friend won’t want to let you down because we watch each other back and cater of each other back in my high school days, and three of us are sharing a sachet of water, which I know it’s still happening in the public primary and secondary school and this is not only water I also remember some student will even eat and remain for their friends and that same food bought in a canteen or brought from their home will be eaten with one plate and spoon that’s the same plate and spoon the next person eating the leftover will use, worst scenario I also then is we share sachet yoghurt, and I believe it’s still happening because urban kids will always be urban kids.
And these things happened because of poverty, tell me what are the chances of these kids from these poor homes not contracting the virus from the public school?

My personal advice to the general public is be prayerful and not panic and ponder over it else you will be afraid to even step out of your house with your kids to school and your business/work places brethren that's the beginning of causing yourself more arms.

SCARY: 7-Foot ‘Ghost’ Attacks Journalist During Interview With Woman Who Caims Her Home Is Haunted (VIDEO)

SCARY: 7-Foot ‘Ghost’ Attacks Journalist During Interview With Woman Who Caims Her Home Is Haunted (VIDEO)Two skeptical journalists were just minutes into an interview with a Pennsylvania homeowner who claims her house is infested with ghostly and demonic forces when they found themselves so scared they almost abandoned the investigative report altogether.
WPMT-TV’s Katie Kyros was recently accompanied by photojournalist Nick Petrillo on a visit to DeAnna Simpson’s home in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Considering that the woman claims she’s seen a seven-foot “shadow man,” heard mysterious voices and experienced rogue scratches, they decided to explore.
But it’s what they say happened just five minutes into the interview that had the two so scared they almost left.

(Follow TheBlaze Faith on Facebook and Twitter for daily news and updates on religion and culture)
“Basically, when we walked in the home, I didn’t feel anything at first,” Petrillo said during an on-air report explaining the experience. “I felt — it was something like a piece of hot metal almost … I looked down on my wrist and I noticed there was a scratch there.”

The photojournalist said he’s “never felt anything like that” in his life. In fact, Petrillo was a skeptic before entering Simpson’s home, but now says the experience has made him a believer.
“I actually didn’t really believe in it until this actually happened,” he said. “I was very skeptical of it until this.”
The burning sensation and scratch Petrillo felt didn’t surprise Simpson, who told the two that she believes the mere fact that they were covering the story was enough to anger the supposedly evil entities inside the home.
“You know why? Because you’re telling the story,” she said of the purported injury. “Because you’re putting it out there … I’m telling you right now, that is their way of a warning.”
Watch the WPMT-TV report, showing footage of a door shutting, an image of the so-called “shadow man” and the journalists’ claims below:
Kyros, who reported that she was also touched and pinched inexplicably while at the home, claimed that she and Petrillo saw “strange lights on the walls and heard noises.”
Simpson and her husband, who have lived in the home seven years, want to leave, but she said that they would need to recoup the money they invested into the house in order to do so.
Kyros and Petrillo purportedly brought a Ouija Board with them, but Simpson was so terrified she asked them not to bring it inside.

8 Natural Remedies to Help You Quit Smoking

Oats

Oats are high in fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, and folate. Eating oats can help lower levels of bad cholesterol and keep arteries clear, which helps to lower risk of heart disease. Also, an extract derived from green oats can ease withdrawal symptoms and help decrease cigarette cravings in chain-smokers.

Cayenne Pepper

Among many other things, cayenne pepper is an excellent remedy to help quell the cravings for a cigarette. It desensitizes the respiratory system to tobacco and chemical irritants, thereby thwarting the cravings for cigarettes. Ensure to take the spice daily; add a couple of pinches to your glass of water to really benefit from its effects.

Ginseng

It has been shown to prevent the nicotine-induced release of the neurotransmitter dopamine. Of course, dopamine is what makes people feel better after smoking which is part of the nicotine-addiction process. A teaspoon of ginseng powder added to your breakfast cereal or morning health shake should help alleviate the number of cravings.

St. John’s Wort

Primarily used to treat depression, there is some research that this medicinal herb helps people quit smoking. In one pilot study, 24 people who smoked 1 or more cigarettes a day received St. John’s wort (450 mg capsule 2 times a day) plus smoking cessation counseling. After 12 weeks, 37.5% or 9 out of 24 people had quit.

Herbal Cigarettes

Herbal cigarettes can replace regular cigarettes and help break the addiction. People can substitute herbal cigarettes to meet their psychological need for a smoke without compromising their health. These are made of herbs like mint, cinnamon, clover, cornsilk, licorice or lemongrass. They also have some carcinogens so they should only be used as a short-term aide!

Lobelia

This herb has been promoted to help people fight the effects of nicotine withdrawal and is found in many anti-smoking products. The active ingredient in lobelia, lobeline, is thought to have similar actions on the body as nicotine. Further research has shown that lobeline may increase levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain similar to cigarettes.

Hyssop

It has the ability to help with clearing mucus congestion in the lungs associated with COPD. It has also been known to alleviate the anxiety and even hysteria that is sometimes associated with smoking withdrawal.

Valerian

It is one of the premier sedative herbs used to aid people with anxiety, stress, and insomnia. Valerian also acts as a muscle relaxant. It is clearly one of the herbs of choice in smoking cessation to deal with the issues of insomnia, restlessness, and anxiety.

Repairing the Damage

Once you have successfully broken free of the addiction, it is essential to repair the damage that has been caused by smoking. Regardless of what you may hear, the damage is reversible through proper diet, exercise, meditation, and adequate sleep. Never let this leave your mind, as we all have the power to overcome. Consult your physician for diet and other ways to repair the damage.
