Breaking News: Fresh crises broke out in Warri

Though information was still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, Fresh Angle has gathered that a fresh crisis has broken out in Warri North local government, Delta State as some youths suspected to be of Ijaw extraction have burnt down three Itsekiri villages.

Sources in Warri North local government hinted Fresh Angle that the three Itsekiri villages allegedly burnt down so far are Gbokoda, Ajamitan and Udo all in the Benin river axis of Warri North local government.  Though the number of persons killed could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, but indications are rife that no less than three persons have been confirmed dead, one person is seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Sapele, while Itsekiris from neighbouring communities are running away from their communities for fear of being attacked.

Authorities of Warri North local government council could not be immediately reached for comment, but Fresh Angle has scooped that the renewed onslaught by Ijaws on Itsekiri communities is generating tension among Itsekiris and the attack is not unconnected with Egbema Ijaws determination to produce the next Warri North local government Chairman.
