Trump crosses yet another line on Twitter days before U.N. address

Image result for Trump crosses yet another line on Twitter days before U.N. address
President Trump has defied political conventions, challenged norms and upended traditions since he first rode down a gilded escalator at Trump Tower in mid-2015 and launched his improbable march to the White House.
On Sunday, he crossed another line: retweeting a doctored video from someone whose Twitter handle can't be repeated in a family newspaper, showing Trump striking Hillary Clinton in the back with a golf ball and knocking her down.
The reaction was predictable. Critics were outraged. Supporters were gleeful. And social media lit up like a Christmas tree.
Perhaps the morning broadside was just Trump’s way of hitting back, a reminder of his pugilistic instincts honed by the raucous ethos of reality TV. In recent days, Clinton has called him a “clear and present danger” to American democracy, and noted that she won 2.9 million more votes than he did on election day, as she touts her memoir of the 2016 election, “What Happened.”

Here's the truth about why women 'go off' sex in long-term relationships

When it comes to long term relationships, women go off the idea of having sex with their partners before men do, says the National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyle.
But you probably already knew that, right?
It’s one of those things that everyone has a low-level awareness of - yet no-one had confirmed it until now. But confirm it they have. So the big question is: why?
Let's be clear - women aren’t less inherently sexual than men. Women, contrary to what you might have been told, don’t find it satisfying to grit their teeth through sex until they’ve produced children and then spend the rest of their lives faking a headache. That’s not what we want.
But it seems that is what many of us are lumped with. The most shocking part? Just how quickly we get bored. The research found that women who had been in a relationship for more than a year were getting fed up.

Wayne Rooney admits being three times drink-drive limit - but is told to pay £170

Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney, the former England captain, has apologised for an "unforgivable lack of judgment" after pleading guilty to drink-driving.

The Everton striker was given a two-year driving ban and ordered to carry out unpaid community work after being caught three times the legal alcohol limit on a night out while his pregnant wife and their three sons were on holiday.

After admitting the charge on Monday morning, Rooney was also told to pay £170 - made up of prosecution costs and a victim surcharge. It is a figure he can earn by working just 12 minutes of his reported £150,000-a-week earnings.

The 31-year-old was stopped by police while driving a black Volkswagen Beetle belonging to Laura Simpson - a woman the court heard he had met while socialising with friends - in Wilmslow, Cheshire, at 2am on September 1.

Officials allow residents to re-enter
Eight people are known to have died in the Keys during or because of Hurricane Irma, authorities said Wednesday.
Two people died in Key West; the other six in other parts of Monroe County.
“The deaths are both storm-related and due to to natural causes,” said Cammy Clark, the county’s public information officer.
Also, 40 people were injured during the storm.
Irma ripped through Cudjoe and Big Pine with end-of-the-world fury, destroying homes big and small.
Trailers were shredded, ocean waters rushed through the ground floor of beach-side houses and RVs were overturned, leaving much of the area ravaged almost beyond recognition.
“It’s been a nightmare,” said Mark Lum, 57, who rode out the powerful storm on Cudjoe Key, huddled with his dog Cruzan inside a concrete bunker-like bath house in the Venture Out development. “You live here in a resort, everything’s nice and pretty, and the next day it’s all gone.”
Hurricane Irma has destroyed a quarter of the homes in the Florida Keys and badly damaged many more, federal officials said Tuesday.

After reading this, you'll never want to use your mobile phone in the bathroom again

What? A cellphone in the bathroom? Do people really do that? If you're honest, you have probably taken yours with you to read something on Facebook or watch a video while spending some quality time alone in the bathroom. What you probably don't know is that you weren't really alone, and that you were bringing hitchhikers out with you on your phone.
The unfettered use of smartphones is creating a new problem. Bacteria that is normally only found in the restroom is being seen more and more elsewhere. Studies are showing that these bacteria are on both cell phones and hands, raising concerns as to how the bacteria got there. Listed below are the four most commonly found bacteria on cell phones.

North Korea sanctions: UN security council unanimously agrees new measures

Image result for UN security council

The UN security council has unanimously ratcheted up sanctions on North Korea, imposing a ban on the country’s textile exports and a ceiling on the country’s imports of crude oil.
The vote for the sanctions, the ninth package of measures imposed by the UN Security Council on Pyongyang since 2006 for its nuclear and missile tests, came as a relief to US diplomats who had feared a Chinese abstention, which would have considerably blunted the impact of the new sanctions.
In late night negotiations on Sunday, the US considerably diluted its initial draft sanctions resolution, which would have imposed a complete oil embargo and a partial naval blockade, in an effort to win support from China and Russia. The final resolution adopted by the security council on Monday imposed a ban on oil condensates exports to the regime, capped refined petroleum exports at 2m barrels a year – cutting existing export levels by half – and maintaining international exports of crude oil to North Korea at existing levels, about 4m barrels a year. China supplies most of North Korea’s crude.

Police arrest woman for filming friend’s rape and posting to the victim’s Snapchat account after they argued over a man

Police have arrested a Chicago woman who allegedly filmed and posted the rape of her unconscious friend on Snapchat after they argued over a man they met at a party.
Prosecutors say Beth Rae Harris, 36, and the victim 23, were arguing on August 24 but that the two eventually made amends. They then made their way to a club and a hotel party where the victim drank heavily.
Harris and the victim then returned to Harris's apartment on the 7400 block of North Artesian Avenue where the victim passed out, prosecutors said.
That's when Harris allegedly encouraged a man, but possibly more, to rape the 23-year-old.
The victim woke up the next morning completely naked, and sore. Harris told her as she left that a man had sex with her while she was passed out, Assistant State's Attorney Nora Gill said.
