DJ LED Presents Naija Election Nonstop Party Mix (April Fool)

Triplets Marry on the Same Day, in the Same Ceremony, in the Same Dress

Some siblings spend their lives trying to differentiate themselves from one another, but Brazilian triplets Rafaela, Rochele, and Tagiane Bini aren’t really into being individuals — not even on their wedding day. The identical sisters shared the bridal spotlight, tying the knot together while wearing the same veils, headpieces, and white dresses. Your only shot at telling them apart was through slight alterations in the necklines of their embellished white gowns. Also, each carried distinctive bouquets of flowers in yellow, blue, and red. Even their makeup and hair looked the same.

The 29-year-olds, who are from Passo Fundo, Brazil, walked down the aisle three in a row, condensing their father’s duties of giving away his girls into one ceremony. The altar was specially constructed to accommodate the entire party, including their husbands. Rafaela wed Rafael, Rochele married Gabriel, and Tagiane exchanged vows with Eduardo. Luckily, the men in their lives are unrelated, all standing tall at varying heights with no genetic resemblance in the slightest.

Because having their sisters didn’t seem to suffice as enough support, each also chose six bridesmaids, wearing dresses in yellow for Rafaela, blue for Rochele and red for Tagiane (matching their flowers), summing up to a total of 18 women in primary colored dresses. Even without the flowers to tell them apart, Eduardo, Tagiane’s partner, wasn’t confused at all. “Oh yes, I knew which one was mine, for sure. I knew as soon as she entered the church, she was the most beautiful,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.

While this might seem strange and out of the ordinary, twins (and other multiples) do share special connections. Certainly extreme, it’s not the first time special occasions have been grouped by family members. Five of eight siblings in an Arizona clan said their “I dos” in a “mega wedding” in 2012.Four Utah siblings did the same last summer. but drew the line at going on a honeymoon together. In the most complex of them all, a set of twins married a set of twins in 1999 in a double wedding, and one couple even had a set of identical twins of their own. In 1987, other twins that married twins even gave birth on the same day
Triplets might seem like a lot, but just imagine when the Gosselin kids get older what their wedding will be like — because you know they’ll have a joint televised ceremony. Can’t wait for 2025.

Ijaw council urges youths to avoid violence

The President of the umbrella body of all Ijaw youths in the country, the Ijaw Youth Council,  Mr. Udengs Eradiri,  has called on all Ijaw youths across the country to avoid all acts of violence, destructions and protests as a fall of last Saturday’s Presidential election, won by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress.

Eradiri also congratulated Buhari on his electoral victory and said that Ijaw youths would key into his administration just the same way youths from other ethnic nationalities from other parts of the country supported the Jonathan Administration.

The IYC President warned that any Ijaw youth who got involved in protests, destructions and other acts of violence would be seen to be doing so at his or her risk.

He said that the IYC would accept the leadership of Buhari as the South South region had its own chance but could not wield the high possibilities of the position to its advantage in the election.

He advised the youth populace in the region to resist being manipulated politically.

He said, “First of all, I want to commend President Goodluck Jonathan for conducting the freest and fairest election that Nigeria has ever had and Africa would take example from him.

“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate Gen, Buhari who has emerged winner of the Presidential elections.

“And so, as IYC, when we had our own as President, the Igbos, the Yorubas, the Hausas were loyal to him, we will be loyal to the President-elect, Gen. Buhari, who from May 29, would become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We will accept it (the results of the election); we had our own knife and yam, we were not able to cut it the way we wanted. We have no other person to blame, it is in this part of the country people were asking for money to go and vote and yet northerners were paying their transport, Mai ruwa people were paying their own transport to go and exercise their rights, to go and pick their PVCs.

“Our people were expecting to be paid to collect PVCs and the results reflected and so we have no other choice, we are the architects of our problem, so we should be able to live with it.

“If you go and protest, you are on your own, if you go and destroy anything, you are on your own. I, as the leader of youths in this region, we had reached out to other ethnic nationalities to canvass support. Maybe, we started late, maybe the attention was not given that should have started with the political class.

“History has already recorded it. So the best we can do is to key into his administration just as the Yoruba keyed into this administration; Hausas keyed into this administration, it is time for us to also to also key into the administration of another leader. So I call on our people to steer clear of all those political manipulations.”

He commended the President for conducting the election that is reputed to be the freest and fairest in the history of the country.

He said that Nigerians would remember the legacies of President Goodluck Jonathan in the next few months especially in the area of power, agriculture, maritime education and other projects executed under the transformation agenda of the government.

He also warned the youths against attacking oil installations in the region stressing that the immediate communities would be the ones to bear the brunt of such actions.

Eradiri advised communities to prevent people from carrying out illegal hunkering, oil theft and other acts inimical to the economy.

Doomed Costa Concordia 'was carrying shipment of Mafia cocaine' when it sunk

Costa Concordia
Sinking: Costa Concordia went down off the shore of the island of Giglio in Italy
The doomed Costa Concordia was carrying a huge shipment of Mafia-owned cocaine, investigators claim.
A notorious Calabrian crime syndicate called the ’Ndrangheta had its drugs hidden on the cruise ship which sunk in January 2012, with loss of 32 lives.
The ship's captain, Francesco Schettino, was jailed for 16 years in February.
He was convicted of manslaughter over the deaths of 32 people, as well as causing the shipwreck and abandoning ship while many of the 4,200 passengers and crew were still on board the stricken vessel.
Investigators claim phone and tape recordings of gang members revealed that there was a drugs shipment on the vessel when it went down, the Independent reports.

One recording allegedly features ’Ndrangheta boss Michele Rossi saying to associate Massimo Tiralongo: “The same ship that made us a laughing stock around the world, took the p**s out of us, too."
A criminal investigation into alleged Mafia drugs trafficking also claims the ’Ndrangheta placed drugs on ships owned by MSC and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Officers said the drugs on the Concordia were stowed on board the vessel without the knowledge of senior officers or senior company officials.
The Concordia was towed to Genoa last year to be scrapped in an operation which is due to last nearly two years

Ifeanyi Uba, Obijackson, Fight At INEC Collation Centers, Many Injured

At least 5 persons including 2 policemen and the Group Managing Director of NESTOIL PLC, Dr. (Sir) Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi sustained serious injuries on Sunday in a fight between him and the Director of Transformation Ambassador of Nigeria (TAN), Dr. Ifeanyi Uba. The Free-For-All Fight began around 3.30pm at the headquarters of Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra which is the collation center for Ihiala Federal House of Representative, and lasted for more than 45 minutes over an alleged result mutilation. Daily Times learnt that trouble started when Dr. Ifeanyi Uba allegedly found Sir Obiejesi while falsifying the original result sheet been submitted to the collation center in favour of his party, APGA. Ifeanyi Uba was supporting PDP. “When Uba found Sir Obiejesi popularly known as Obijackson falsifying the original sheets to favour APGA and his candidate, Uba encountered him, snatched the paper away from him and they began to fight to the charging of their respective supporters,” our source said. Sir Obiejesi clothing was torn even as two vehicles were badly damaged at the process but the key players refused to grant the press interview on what truly transpired. Confirming the report on phone, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer (PPPRO) Uche Eze said “there was crisis at ihiala local government area which is the collation centre but I do not know the names of those involved in the fight. But two Police men were injured and already taken to hospital for treatment.” Our reporter reliably gathered that it was effort of policemen sent from the state police command that brought the matter to a halt. Meanwhile, collation of results for the Senatorial and Federal House of Representative elections in Anambra Central, Anambra South and Anambra North Senatorial zones have kick-started at the various INEC collation centers. In Awka collation center comprising Awka North, Awka South, Anaocha, Dunukofia, Njikoka, Idemili North and Idemili South Local Government Areas, our reporter discovered that all the council Areas have submitted their respective result sheets, excerption of Idemili North and South, the stronghold of the incumbent Senator representing the zone Sen. Chris Ngige. However, when our reporter arrived Awka collation center, the Returning Officer encountered problem with political party supporters when transferring the result sheets meticulously to ascertain their veracity with master sheet. “When I was crosschecking them to ensure clarity, some overzealous party agents accused me of falsifying the result, and in the confusion that ensured, the collation room became rowdy. To avoid been lynched or stampeded, I called on security officers for protection”, the INEC officers told Daily Times. As at the time of filing this report, the intervention of security officers which included soldiers, police and Sars have brought the situation to normalcy. Also, tension is high all over the state as unconfirmed report indicates that PDP was leading in all the three senatorial zones. The contestants for Anambra Central are Dr. Chris Ngige of APC, Uche Ekwunife of PDP and Chief Victor Umeh of APGA; while the North has Princess Stella Odua of PDP and Dubem Obaze; and the South has Senator Andy Ubah of PDP, Ernest Ndukwe of APGA and Mrs. Ethel Obiakor of APC.
