Denzel Washington's still got it—and now he's faster than ever.

The 59-year-old Oscar winner is still kicking ass and taking names, this time to save a young woman from the clutches of some creepy, terrible people in the first trailer for The Equalizer, based on the 1980s-era CBS series of the same name and due in theaters Sept. 26.

But while there's a small-screen template laid out for Denzel's role of Robert McCall, a compelled-out-of-retirement special-ops commando who likes to time himself when he's taking out the enemy, we're seeing healthy doses of Taxi Driver and The Professional as well.

And not just because Chloë Grace Moretz's damsel-in-danger Teri is rocking a blunt-cut wig with bangs like Natalie Portman in her 1994 breakthrough role.

In this sneak peek, the scene is set when McCall meets Teri in a coffee shop, explaining when asked that he's reading a book "about a guy who's a knight in shining armor, except he lives in a world where knights don't exist anymore."

Hmm, we're assuming that's also what's printed on his business card.

But in trying to free Teri from a life of vice, which he thinks he's managing to do in 19 seconds (remember, this guy carries a stop watch), it turns out that he just "took out the East coast hub of the Russian mafia."

Yeah, that stopwatch is going to be getting a lot of use.

Melissa Leo plays McCall's old friend and colleague from his days in the field and The Equalizer also reunites Denzel with Training Day director Antoine Fuqua, who has proven that he knows how to multiply his leading man's capacity for damaged badassery by Oscar-winning proportions.

Kim Kardashian and Her Family Wore "Millions of Dollars'" Worth of Jewelry During Wedding Weekend: Get the Details!

It's usually a smart idea to go with what you know, for a fact, works.

So that's probably why Kim Kardashian and her family were decked out in "millions of dollars' worth" of jewelry this weekend by Lorraine Schwartz, a friend of the family and the bling expert who provided Kim's eye-popping 15-carat engagement and the diamond-encircled wedding bands she and husband Kanye West slipped on each other's fingers on Saturday.

The bride, sister Khloé Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner and more wore different pieces by Schwartz for all of the Kimye wedding festivities, sources tell us

Schwartz, who attended the wedding, posted a rather dazzling photo on Instagram of a number of necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings—including what appear to be the mother of the bride's diamond studs and the ruby rings that Khloé wore to the brunch that Valentino threw for the family at his château in France on Friday.

"The jewelry is a mix of new and vintage cuts, reminiscent of old-world opulence," celebrity jeweler and diamond expert Jean Dousett tells E! News, describing the various baubles Schwartz displayed. 

"The theme is definitely retro with a touch of modern geometric pieces," he said, noting the funky V-shape ring and pavé pyramid bracelets.

"Most of the jewelry has a darker patina of metal over bright white, if you will," Dousett continued. "The big necklace has old mine-cushion cuts with clusters of stones around, circa turn of [the 20th] century."

And though we're told that Kim chose to wear her own deceptively simple-looking diamond studs because, for the same reason she wanted a refined wedding band, she didn't want to take away from her engagement ring, her round-cut diamonds look to be just under three carats and could retail for close to $200,000, according to Dousett. 

Not too shabby.

"There are two line diamond necklaces," Dousett added. "One of them is called a Sautoir [a long necklace from which suspends a tassel or other ornament], which was  probably worn with the other as a double layer. I have not seen the images of the wedding, but I am guessing."

And yes, Dousett estimates that there could be a couple of million dollars' worth of jewelry in Schwartz's picture alone.

Jos Suicide Bomber Targeted 400 Football Fans -Survivor

Over 400 football fans cheated death in the Saturday night bomb blast that rocked Bauchi Road area of Jos, the Plateau State capital. Three people were confirmed dead on the spot in the blast while the fourth died on Sunday morning thus raising the death toll to four

Reporters who visited the scene gathered that the lone bomber had targeted a television viewing centre where youths were watching the finals of the EUFA Championship League match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

One of the football lovers at the centre, Muhammed Ibrahim, said over 400 youths were watching the match when the incident happened.

“The viewing centre is large. Television sets were placed at various points and it was crowded and in fact, over 400 of us would have been killed had the bomber succeeded,” he said.

Another witness, Alhaji Garba Ahmad, who said he lost his senior brother, Bello, in the blast, told our correspondent that the bomber had first attempted to enter the viewing centre but was prevented by a barricade erected along the road.

“He then turned back and tried to enter through a garage, but also encountered a wall between the centre and the garage,”Ahmad said.

He added that in frustration, the bomber packed the car, a Honda Odyssey, in front of a house.

Ahmad said,

 “When we saw the car, unusually packed in front of our house, my brother challenged him. He told my brother that his car had a fault and wanted to repair it. My brother then asked him to take the car away. Sensing something unusual I went inside and asked all the members of our family to leave the house. Just as my brother was persuading the man to leave our premises, he (the bomber) entered the car and immediately he started it. It exploded and killed my brother, his son and his friend.”

It was also gathered that the bomber had gone to the viewing centre earlier in the day.

An official of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Mohammed Suleiman, told newsmen that the agency received a distress call at about 9 pm on Saturday and immediately rushed to the scene to carry out a search and rescue operation. He said that three people died on the spot, while the body of the fourth person was discovered on Sunday morning.

A member representing Jos North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Mr. Ibrahim Hasaan, who visited the scene along with the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Jos North Local Government Area, Dr. Sanda Wakili, said that the recent bombing in an exclusively Muslim enclave was an indication that nobody was safe in the country.

Tragedy:Two Real Madrid Fans Die In Lagos

Many fans around the world definitely were in high spirit celebrating the victory of Real Madrid has the winner of 2014 UEFA Champions League having beaten Atletico Madrid with the score 4-1 on May 24, Saturday, but some fans were not so lucky to part of the jubilation.
Two fans of Real Madrid identified as 39-year-old Olusoga Ogunbanjo and 42-year-old Bambo Sholeye died over the weekend at Lagos Island area of the state, as a result of the club not being able to equalise early against Athletico Madrid who had scored a goal in the first half .
Olusoga Ogunbanjo populary called Soga, a refrigerator technician who resided at 23A, Smith Street, off Evan Street who was said to have gone to a barber's shop to have a hair cut decided to stay back watch the match alongside other football fans reportedly slumped after some of his friends were said to have started making jest of the club’s fans.
Soga was said to have been quickly rushed to the emergency unit of Island General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Meanwhile Bambo Sholeye, said to be a staff of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority ,LAWMA, who resided at 49/51 Apatira Street, off Olushi Street who also went to a shop to watch the match, was said to have stormed out in frustration before the regulation time. Unfortunately he reportedly slumped in front of his house where he sat lamenting about the club's failure to equalise the one goal scored by Atiletico Madrid in the first half.
Efforts to revive him in a private hospital proved futile as he was later confirmed dead.
It was gathered that their remains were buried yesterday morning at a public burial ground on the Island

Floyd Mayweather Explains Root Of T.I. Altercation

Floyd Mayweather says the root of the fight was over an Instagram pic of him and Tiny taken at a party.

Early this morning, Floyd Mayweather got into an altercation with T.I. over alleged jealousy of Floyd's relationship with Tip's wife, Tiny.
Within the same day, Floyd is now explaining the root of the fight via Necole Bitchie and, as expected, it was over Tiny.

"After the fight was over Saturday night, Sunday they came over my mother’s house," Mayweather said regarding a party Tiny and her friend Shekinah attended after the fight. "My mother had a big, big party for me. They came over and showed love. They came over to my house all cool, all respect. Hang out with The Money Team, my crew. Everybody was cordial. No disrespecting type. After that, I guess she put a picture up on Instagram of her at the fight so I guess he [T.I.] was feeling some type of way." 

Floyd also explained that he and Tiny are nothing more than friends. 

"I been knowing Tiny before T.I.," he explained. "I’ve never slept with her. I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way. Her friend Shekinah wanted to come to the [May 4th] fight. She brought Tiny with her. They came to the fight."

In regards to the Instagram picture that made T.I. upset, Floyd said T.I. believed that Tiny was trying to pin the two against each other.

"[T.I.] came to me when I was in New York," he said. "He stepped to me when I was at the jewelery store like, 'Yo, let’s go outside and talk.' We went outside to talk, but he talked about, basically, 'These girls tryna play us against each other.' I said, 'I don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re talking about your wife?' I never put up a picture of her on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I was basically like, 'Listen. I’m letting you know I ain’t got… Me and your wife don’t have nothing… If you think so."

Later in the interview, Floyd Mayweather expressed the desire to apologize to Tiny, but not T.I. 

"I’m going to continue to support Tiny and Shekinah cause they’re cool people and I don’t got nothing against them," he said. "So I apologize for that."

Floyd's former business partner 50 Cent made light of the situation after finding out about it this morning. In Instagram videos, 50 made a faux phone call to Floyd and questioned Mayweather's involvement in the altercation, telling him to lay off of T.I.'s wife.
