EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW : PAUL MARTIN'S OLUWATOBI (I NEED YOUR VOTES URGENTLY)
the music business in Nigeria is actually not encouraging people with good contents to thrive. Commercial music has carved out a massive niche for random songs done by unrehearsed proficient artistes to become successful. It has now become a norm in Nigeria that if you need to become successful you'll have to be sexually lyrical and verbally impolite; thus making contents tell only one story line which often appear to be void of variation or styles.
Because I know my songs will inevitably have to compete with these ones, I thought not to drown their goodness by singing same genre. Hence why I've chosen a range of genres and created a harmonized assorted hybrid.
Since one can't sing for everyone, It will take only elite people to appreciate these songs as they are my target audience. I see myself as an interesting enlightener and a quality-control entertainer. I will also like to see that people with good contents and original concepts get a platform to propagate their works - I.e. If I become a renown artist.
Art, to me, is an exhibition of demonstrations delivered by the artiste's work that has been injected by a venom of ideologies and creativity. We need to reinstate music back as an art to genuinely enjoy not a toy for commercial gains

EXCLUSIVE NEWS| I’m Addicted To Sex, I Must Have Sex Everyday’- Maheeda Reveals In a Recent Interview
!
The mother of one who has been married to her husband for two years now doesn't seem to bother or care about what anyone thinks of her as she discusses her love for sex, boys, and shares her story before the naked pictures.
Excerpts;
Do you feel by taking off your clothes at every chance you get, that you are sending a good message to your daughter?
I don’t know, because the way people take things are very different. My daughter is now 13, and I once sat my daughter down and asked her what she thought about my video, and she just said ‘Why did you take your clothes off’, and I said I wanted to get attention, and she was like, ‘Okay’. You know the orientation in Europe is completely different from around here.
You seem to derive a lot of pleasure from flaunting your private parts. Why?
Honestly, some years back, I wanted to start wearing bum shorts on the TV, but I was scared of what people would say. But all of a sudden, bum shorts were everywhere. I wanted to wear panties also, but was also scared of what people will say, and all of a sudden everyone is wearing it. And when I wanted to get naked in a music video, people were like I shouldn’t do it. But I had to do it, because I didn’t want anyone to do it before me. You know it is show business, and there are competitors.
How has being semi-nude majority of the time made an impact on your career?
I feel like this is one of the best peaks of my career. I was telling my team that maybe I should just keep taking off my clothes, but they are like, I have to sing. They are trying to get me to have a balance even though getting naked is what brought me all the attention, but they really want me to focus on the music.
On being in your comfort zone now
Yes! I would say that, because I’m a crazy person, I love sex, I love attention, I love boys, I love music, I love attention, I love modelling. Everything that I love is what I’m doing.
You love sex? How much do you love it?
A lot… I’m addicted to sex, and I have to have sex everyday.
How many times do you have sex in a day?
At least once everyday, and if there’s no guy around me, I’ll help myself by masturbating. I have a lot of sextoys; in fact, I’m a regular customer. It’s like food to me, and you have to eat. It is very healthy and it gives you the right curves and my body is used to it.
You mean your body needs sex to function normally?
Yes! Sometimes I just squirt, like when am having sex, and because I am used to it and my body needs it.
On Afrocandy offer to appear in her porn movies. Is there any chance you’ll ever do porn?
No way! This is working for me, so why do I have to do that? She’s doing all that and she’s getting her money and I’m also getting the same money doing what I’m doing, so why should I do porn. I enjoy sex but I’m not sure I want to do it in front of the whole Nigeria.

About this project
Due to my inability to play any musical instrument, the idea is to use apps to make very good music. My aim is to become an authority or a household name in the music industry. I intend to open the eyes of other people like me who have settled with various reasons why they should never pursue their dreams. I'm very creative I have written lots of poems and songs before now hence I think it's time to take it to the next level. I have a Masters degree in Arts Design & Humanity; I'm UK-Based!
Dear Aburo,
My name is Lori Tosan and I am the Features Co-editor for 3M360 MAGAZINE We love your video are would like to run a story about you!
What is your name, background and education?
My name is Oluwatobi Paul Martins (ABURO) and I am a yorubA (Aburoy) u from Ogun/Ondo State. I was born in Lagos and lived there till 1999 when I had to relocate to Abuja with my parents. In 2010, after my NYSC I moved to UK to further my studies. I am a Graduate of Architecture from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt and also a Post Graduate of Design Management from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK.
2. Talk about your incline to music?
I am an aspiring performing artiste with performance ranging from music, acting, writing, directing and designing - the arts in general. I'm a talented and educated interesting lad full of innovation and creativity. I thrive when good things play on air but of recent years, a lot of air plays have not gone down with me a good way. I cherish good contents, conceptual materials, professional output, qualitative listening, morals and fun. These are the things I hardly find in most of the songs I hear these days - HEAR, not listen!
3. How did you get into music?
It started a little over a decade ago when I realized most of the songs I liked are usually in the first albums of a new artist and just when I expect to hear something good in their next albums, I'm often always disappointed. That was when I thought to only play the first albums instead but when I realized I was getting board, I started writing mine instead.
Secondly, I am already really tired of hearing repetitive concepts/styles/sounds and I believe I have the right dash of colors to spark things up.
I originally started with creative writing - poetry/poems/proses/stories/articles. I decided to go into singing after I'd completed my studies and gained solid and profound ideologies ranging from the range of genres I listen to (NOT HEAR), the places/culture I visit and multi-cultured people I meet locally and internationally.
4. Talk about genres of songs and few good artistes you listen to?
I listen to Reggae, Afro Range, RnBs, RnB Hip Hop, Pop Rock, Indie Rock, Soft Jazz, Alternative/Neo/Southern Soul, and Classical. I love Pharrell Williams, Banky W, Justin Timberlake, Dare Art Alade, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Asa, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Muse, Bez, Linking Park, R. Kelly, Wizkid, Boyz II Men, Maxwell, M.I, Ed Sheeran, Emili Sandé, P-Square among others.
4. What inspires you?
I don't write/create when I am - obviously - in a really low or high state of mind. That explains why a lot of artistes don't produce better things after that first initial stage when everything gets steady and good. For me, innovation and creativity is a part of me. I exhume concepts and ideologies all the time. I am not one to acquaint with inferior trends. At same time, I am very much aware if my beginning as I am willing to learn a lot much as I am ready to give so much.

“I’m in pain, but I’m happy”: Hollywood actor, Jet Li, battling serious health issues
The superstar who is known for his kung fu skills, discussed his diagnosis during the recording of a talent show he is judging in China.
During the recording of the show on Tuesday, the 50-year-old actor appeared to have a fuller face and heavier frame. He said his weight has fluctuated but he is taking it all in stride.
Li, even joked about his weight gain and said “I’m fat, I don’t have the time to lose it. It’s a fact!”
According to a Daily News report:
He explained that exercise is not advised with the medication he’s taking. An overactive thyroid, or hyperthyroidism, causes changes in a person’s metabolism and heart rate, among other symptoms, but is generally treatable with medications.Li was diagnosed in 2010. He kept his condition under control with medication, but it came back with a vengeance recently.
He said that he’s tackling his illness head-on. “I’m just a regular guy, I’m not Wong Fei Hung, I’m not Huo Yuan Jia (kung fu heroes he portrays on film), I’m not a hero. I’m just like you.”
A martial arts champion at a young age, Li turned to acting and began showing off his kung fu skills on big screens in the 1980s.
He catapulted to fame in the ‘90s with the “Once Upon a Time in China” films where he portrayed martial arts master Wong Fei Hung.
His Hollywood career includes such titles as “Lethal Weapon 4,” “Romeo Must Die” and more recently “The Expendables 2.”
Li confessed there are times he’s unsure if he’s able to carry on with work, but he’s determined. “I’m in pain, but I’m not suffering. I’m happy,” he said.
Governor Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole just survived a terrible Accident
The incident occurred at about 9.45am at Ewu, in Edo Central Senatorial District, when a Peugeot J5 Bus filled with tomatoes and plantains apparently lost control and rammed into the Governor's Flag Car from the opposite direction before swerving into a roadside ditch.
Three vehicles in the Governor's convoy were in front of the Governor's Flag Car and had passed the Peugeot J5 Bus before it [J5 Bus] had direct impact with the Governor's car, which had the Governor, his Aide-De-Camp [ADC] and his Driver as occupants.
The Governor's Car was badly affected but both occupants of the Peugeot J5 Bus and that of the Governor's sustained no injuries.
The Peugeot J5 Bus was following a truck that was descending the Ewu Slope when it suddenly veered off into the Governor's lane from the opposite direction and directly impacted on the Governor's vehicle, apparently because of brake failure.
Fortunately, none of the passengers in both vehicles sustained injuries. The Comrade Governor is hale and hearty, his ADC and other occupants of the Peugeot J5 are also in good condition.
The incident has been reported to the Divisional Police Station at Ewu for further investigation. This is to assure all good people of Edo State that there is no cause for alarm.
Their loving Comrade Governor is fine, hale and hearty as well as other occupants of the other affected vehicle. The Comrade Governor is wishing everyone a prosperous new year ahead. Signed

10 Shocking scandals of 2013
Tonto |
That was not all; few months later, she was given an opportunity to perform on stage at the Iyanya concert in London. Obviously drunk, she slipped on stage and fell. It was an awful experience for her as the media went frenzy with her big fall.
The bizarre occurrence which continued to generate ceaseless uproar happened on Saturday, April 13, when Lilian stormed the Overcomers Church World Outreach, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, to halt a wedding service meant to join her husband with his mistress, Uloma Agwu, as husband and wife. Another woman later showed up and also accused the disgraced actor of getting her too engaged in a sham marriage proposal.
Sources close to the 19-year-old and former Miss Plateau State disclosed that her family had contacted Paul Okoye's father and aunt to persuade the musician to accept responsibility for his baby. Elshama also insisted that she never slept with any other man, adding that she lost her virginity to him when she was 17 years old.
The dress revealed a little more than just cleavage. It showed some flesh too. Denrele's question to Genevieve didn't help matter either-he had the guts to ask if she was wearing a bra!
The once upon a time lovers, Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson and Kukere Master, Iyanya, were at daggers drawn over their love gone sour and traded words over same.

U.S. man kills 3 including wife, ex-boss; shoots former in-laws, then kills himself
This undated photo provided by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office shows Ben Freeman. Freeman is the suspect in an attack that involved his former in-laws and the head of a hospital where he'd worked on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, authorities said. (AP Photo/Lafourche Parish Sheriff Office)
All three survivors remained hospitalized Friday, two in critical condition, Brennan Matherne, a spokesman for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, said in an email. He said deputies are still investigating the motive.
Preliminary evidence shows that Ben Freeman, 38, first killed his wife, Denise Taylor Freeman, 43, before he went on a rampage and shot the others Thursday, Maj. Malcolm Wolfe, of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, wrote in an email.
Denise Freeman's body was found in a bathroom of their house, and an autopsy showed that she suffocated and drowned, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said Friday.
Ben Freeman then attacked his former in-laws with a shotgun in Lafourche Parish about 45 miles southwest of New Orleans, wounding parish Councilman Louis Phillip Gouaux (pronounced "go") and Gouaux's daughter Andrea, Matherne said. Louis Gouaux was shot in the neck, while Andrea Gouaux suffered spinal damage, the sheriff's office said in a news release. Both were in critical, but stable, condition after surgery Friday in New Orleans, Matherne said. Gouaux's wife, Susan, was dead when deputies arrived, he said.
About 20 minutes after the first shootings, Freeman arrived at the home of Milton Bourgeois, CEO of Ochsner (OX-ner) St. Anne General Hospital in nearby Raceland, about 8 miles from Lockport. Bourgeois was shot and killed at close range; his wife, Ann, was shot in the leg and was listed in stable condition at a hospital, Matherne said.
Bourgeois had been CEO of the hospital in Raceland since 1988, Giselle Hecker, spokeswoman for Ochsner Health Systems, said in an email.
Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre said Freeman worked at the hospital as a registered nurse until 2011, when he was fired. He said police had been called there previously after Freeman damaged a room. Freeman told officers he would seek mental help, Webre said.
But in a teleconference later Friday, Ochsner officials said Freeman had resigned voluntarily, citing personal reasons. The officials said he had worked at the hospital from May 1998 to April 2011, and that he was considered an on-call employee for another five months after that.
Freeman also had worked at two other hospitals, which along with St. Anne had been placed on lockdown for a time on Thursday.
Susan Gouaux — "Pixie" to her friends — was a teachers' aide at Holy Savior Elementary School. She also was a talented needlewoman and knitter who designed the state bicentennial quilt square for Lafourche Parish and made scarves for all her friends, Parish President Charlotte Randolph said in a telephone interview.
She said that she went to school at one time or another with both Philip and Susan Gouaux, and that Susan Gouaux taught her grandchildren. The couple has six adult daughters.
Gouaux called 911 around 6:40 p.m. Thursday from his home in Lockport, telling dispatchers he had been shot in the throat, The Courier newspaper in Houma (http://bit.ly/1cEpgEk) reported. Freeman was divorced from Gouaux's daughter Jeanne, whom he married in 1997.
Jeanne (ZHANNE) Gouaux — also a nurse — had filed several protective orders against Freeman, who had pleaded guilty to harassment charges and was allowed only supervised visits with their four children, Webre said. The last protective order expired less than a month ago, he said.
"Clearly, there has been a very difficult and complicated divorce/custody issue going on," Webre said during a news conference late Thursday.
Freeman pleaded guilty on Oct. 23 to one of two criminal telephone-harassment charges brought on a complaint filed June 19 by Gouaux and her father, Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court Vernon H. Rodrigue said. He was given a deferred sentence of a $250 fine or 10 days in jail, put on unsupervised probation for a year, and the second count of criminal harassment was dismissed, Rodrigue said.
On Nov. 27, Ben Freeman was issued a citation for simple battery domestic violence against Denise Freeman, the sheriff's office said in a news release. A court date had been scheduled for Jan. 16, 2014.
Court records show Freeman agreed in June to pay Jeanne Gouaux $22,560 in overdue child support payments dating back two years. A settlement filed the following month showed the couple would sell three adjacent lots near her parents' house and split the $25,000 in proceeds; Freeman also agreed to pay Gouaux $39,000.
Jeanne Gouaux and the children lived with her parents for a while after the divorce, said Rita Bonvillain (BAHN-vee-yenh), 83, a neighbour of the family for nearly 30 years. She said Andrea Gouaux, a nurse like her sister Jeanne, was visiting from Texas.
Whenever a holiday came, she said, children filled the house and yard. A trampoline, soccer balls and a swing hanging from a big oak in the front yard testified to that.
Bonvillain choked up and held back tears several times as she talked about the Gouauxes. Since her husband died, they regularly have stopped by to ask if she needs groceries or other errands run. The councilman once told her, "If you ever hear a sound at night and want someone to check it out, call me," she said.
Ben Freeman was found dead around 10:45 p.m. along U.S. Highway 90 near Bayou Blue. He had shot himself in the head.
At Denise Freeman's house, a man who did not give his name demanded that an Associated Press reporter leave his sister's property.
Others in the neighbourhood of quaint middle-class, ranch-style houses in Houma, the Terrebonne Parish seat, said the house was originally hers.
She had only recently married Freeman, but she and her son Josh — of elementary school age — had lived there for years, said Glenn Cradeur, who has owned his house, two down from hers, for 28 years. He said he believed the boy was not home when his mother was killed.
Cradeur said he saw no signs of trouble until about two weeks ago, when he saw police vehicles outside the home, responding to what he believed was a domestic dispute.
He returned from a visit to out-of-town relatives to find emergency vehicles outside the house and stunned neighbours gathered nearby.
"It's shocking, and it's sad," he said.
