Jon Bon Jovi Blasts Justin Bieber

Jon Bon Jovi Blasts Justin Bieber
Jon Bon Jovi knows a thing or two about entertaining people and having a super successful career. So when he speaks about things he’s familiar with, perhaps those not in the know should stop and listen. Do you hear that, Justin Bieber?
Earlier this spring, Justin let his fans down by appearing on stage about two hours late. Afterward, he received a metric ton of boos from the audience — and rightfully so. Now, he’s being called out for being an a–hole! Ha!
In a new interview, Jon said, “Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.”
He went on to say, “Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool – you’re an a–hole. Go to f—ing work!”
Justin cited technical issues as the reason behind his tardiness. Despite that, do you agree with what Jon had to say? Hit the comments and let us know your thoughts!

Rapper, Naeto C ends relationship with his record label Storm Records

Naeto C's Wife Is Reportedly PregnantAccording to Thenetng.net reports,  Rapper Naetochukwu Chikwe better known as Naeto C has ended his   , the music home where he launched his career into the Nigerian music market.
NET investigations have revealed that the rapper plans to fully launch his WKG/Cerious Music  in a matter of months.
Unlike the many breakups that have preceded Naeto’s, the rapper’s exit is not battlemented; both parties have been very silent about the issue. As a matter of fact, Storm Records insist that the rapper is still signed with them.
One of the label’s directors Tola Odunsi admits that Naeto has had his own label Cerious Music for a while but is still with Storm.
Naeto has had his record label for a while at least 3 years it’s called Cerious Music – his music is being pushed as a joint venture btw storm 360 and Cerious Music. Nothing has changed’, Odunsi responded to our enquiry via E-mail.
Naeto C’s profile is still active on the Storm Records official website but then again, we can’t take that seriously as General Pype (an artiste  has since parted ways with the label) also has his profile on the website.
An inside source however says Naeto has indeed left and his upcoming project will not be released under the Storm Records imprint. One insider said: ‘It is true Naeto started Cerious Music a few years back but the launch of his new outfit WKG (meaning White Kaftan Gang) will see him act fully as an independent artiste.’
WKG kicked off in the middle of 2012 with the launch of his ‘Tony Montana (Bad pass)’ video featuring D’banj. We are told he also plans to sign Lagos producer E-Kelly.
Storm Records was also not listed as one of the organizers of his first ever solo US tour which ran from late March to early May 2013.
Naeto who remains silent on the issue (he refused to reply our E-mail messages) has been busy though: he welcomed his first child while on tour in the US and returned to Nigeria to seal a deal with telecoms company Globacom as an ambassador. Popular artiste manager Godwin Tom also says Naeto is his new client.
Naeto joined Storm Records in 2006, returning from the US where he had already formed a rap group with close friend Ikechukwu and his younger brother Uzikwendu called ‘World Famous Akademy’. With the smash hit single ‘Kini big deal’, he released his debut album ‘You Know my P’ in 2008; parted ways with Ikechukwu who left Strorm in 2010 and then released a successful second album ‘Super C Season’ in February 2011.
Storm Records headed by Obi Asika and Olisa Adibua (the pair are currently in a legal battle) have in the past signed an impressive long list of acts including Jazzman Olofin, Darey, GT the Guitarman, 2shotz, General Pype. They currently have on their roaster rappers Sasha, Yung6ix, Pop singer Ms Jaie, Urban-Pop group L.O.S and gospel singer Tosin Martins.

LIGHTS, CAMERA AND MOET: Soundcity VJ Moet Abebe in SexX Tape scandal (See It)

Moet Abebe 600x600 Soundcity VJ Moet Abebe in se*x ta*pe scandal (See It)
Interesting news we’ve got here: reports of a leaked sex tape involving a popular female VJ and an unidentified man have recently trolled the internet.
The story which was over the weekend reported by celebrity journalist Abiola Aloba ofMaestro Media who claimed to have watched the sex tape, clearly gave hints on the female participant, who according to him, is a ‘popular hostess on a cable network, hosting a musical show who always holds her audience spellbound by her delivery’.
He took the pain of describing her physical features; ‘…Not too tall, very shapely with big eye balls, she looks like an angel’, her name, ‘…she sounds like ‘champagne’, we are not talking ‘Brut or Rose’ and even her family ties, ‘…and seems connected to the family of a former ruler, at least by her second name’.
Even a fool would easily match Aloba’s description with popular Soundcity VJ Laura Monyeazo Abebe better known as Moet Abebe. She is the daughter of John Abebe, the brother of the late first lady, Stella Obasanjo.
The 23-year-old returned to Nigeria in 2011 after studying Law at Manchester University, UK. Moet, an aspiring model well known for her impeccable command of English Language, has featured in a couple of music videos including Lynxxx’s ‘Alabukun’ feat Banky WShow Dem Camp’s ‘Getting you’, Wizkid’s ‘Pakurumo’. At Soundcity, she currently hosts the ‘1 on 1’ with Moet show and covers routine events.
We learn she is in a relationship with an MTV Base staff and is quite fond of him (she, from time to time puts up his photos on her instagram page, referring to him as her ‘boo’). She has however been linked with a number of entertainers in the past, including Don Jazzy, Dr SID, May D, rappers Terry tha Rapman, M.I, Loose Kaynon, Beazy and producer Kid Konnect.
A source close to the VJ confirms she’s actually the person in the video but explains that it’s quite old. ‘It’s her but it’s an old video, it was shot years back. I wonder why they are bringing it up again’, our source who pleaded anonymity told us.
NET cannot confirm the identity of the participants in the video.
Moet when reached on the telephone by our reporter didn’t confirm or deny the story, opting for the ‘no comment’ statement.
WHILE YOU WAIT FOR THE TAPE, HERE ARE SOME OF MOET’S GREATEST HITS PICS
Interestingly, gathering comments filtering in on several blogs that have picked up the sex scandal story, Moet seems to have the highest mentions.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard of a sex tape. In the past, actress Empress Njamah was rumoured to have also been in one although the actress vehemently denied it…

Woman chopped off man’s penis as he ‘attempted to rape her’ before taking it to police as evidence

Revenge: Monju Begum claims she cut off her neighbour's penis because he tried to attack her. Surgeons were unable to reattach it

A woman cut off a man’s penis as he allegedly attempted to rape her and took it to a police station as evidence against him.
Monju Begum, 40, attacked the man in Bangladesh after he burst into her shack and reportedly launched his sex attack.
The victim then wrapped up the penis in polythene before handing it over to officers, police said.

Mozammel Haq Mazi was taken to hospital where he is being treated – but is denying attempted rape.
He claims he was having an affair with the mother-of-three and she attacked him because he refused to settle down with her.
Monju Begum, from Mirzapur, which is around 100 miles from Dhaka, had apparently been sleeping when the man burst into her home.

Police chief Abul Khaer told reporters: ‘As he tried to rape her, the lady cut his manhood off with a knife.
‘She then wrapped up the penis in a piece of polythene and brought it to the Jhalakathi police station as evidence of the crime.’
The married father-of-five is expected to be arrested once he has recovered.

Officer Khaer added: ‘We shall arrest him once his condition gets better.’
Speaking from hospital, Mr Mazi told the BBC he had been having an affair with the woman, who was his neighbour.
‘We were having an affair and recently she suggested that both of us can go and settle down in Dhaka,’ he said.
‘I refused and told her that I cannot leave my wife and children, so she took revenge on me.’
Surgeons later tried to reattach the penis but they were unable to do so because several hours had passed before it was taken to the hospital.

Drama In Court! 21 Year Old Mother Of 5 Puts Breasts On Full Display In Protest Against Government

Odozi at the court premises, Monday.Odozi.
A 21 year old mother of 5 yesterday caused a scene in the premises of the Magistrate Court, Ikeja when she rolled on the floor, put her breasts on display and screamed, lamenting that she and her children were at the verge of dying from hunger.
The woman Esther Odozi, who said she lives in Owanta village in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, came to Lagos last week and because she didn’t have anywhere to sleep, slept at Mountain of Fire  and Miracles Ministries where she begged for money to come to the old secretariat in Ikeja.
She said she was directed by an official of Human Rights Commission in her state to come to Lagos that she would get help.

Odozi laid half-naked on a road in the court shouting, “Hunger, hunger. Government must do something today. I have not received anything from the plenty crude oil money government is spending in our state. Nigerians are wicked.”

Odozi shunned passersby who shouted at her to cover herself as she rolled on the ground. She revealed wounds on her left leg and the right side of her hips; she said she was hit by a car. She refused a N500 given to her by a passerby, saying, “I don’t want your money. I want Fashola to give me N200, 000.”

When approached, she said, “After confronting serious hardship in my state, I was advised by an official of Human Rights Commission in Delta to go to Human Rights Commission in Abuja. I also went to Police Headquarters and NAPTIP (National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons) in Abuja. They all told me to go to Lagos; they said that is where I could get help.”

My husband, Donald Ogbaja, was a retired policeman before he died of hunger. He married me when I was 17. I bore five children, including twins for him.”

Odozi said she tried to survive on her own by cultivating some crops. She, however, said she was hit by a car and had been hindered by her injury to continue working on her farm.

She said, “I will not leave this court without seeing N200,000 to start business. I want to sell melon and garri. Tell Emmanuel Uduaghan, the governor of my state, and the Federal Government to do something about my condition. They must give me part of the petrol money. I must take care of my five children.”

When she was asked that as a young woman, didn’t she feel ashamed to bare her breast? She answered, “I don’t have anything and I don’t have anything to hide anymore.”
Sad...I plead the 5th amendment on this one.

Anyway, Ricardo did an interview with Vogue Homme last month and when asked to reveal his "best" sexual experience, the fashion mogul said it was with a well known man!  Read it below

Nobody really knows if this guys is straight or gay, it is a mystery. However, I was attracted to him, his way of speaking, thinking, walking, dressing. I love what he does an an artist. This weekend both, the intimate moment has really reinforced my attraction to him."
He might be talking about Frank Ocean. There have been rumours. Anyway, hope he doesn't write a tell-all book one day! :-)

Over 90 Killed, Including 20 Children As Giant Tornado Hits Oklahoma

TORNADO-slide-IA33-articleLarge
A giant tornado, a mile wide or more, killed at least 91 people, 20 of them children, as it tore across parts of Oklahoma City and its suburbs Monday afternoon, flattening homes, flinging cars through the air and crushing at least two schools.
The injured flooded into hospitals, and the authorities said many people remained trapped, even as rescue workers struggled to make their way through debris-clogged streets to the devastated suburb of Moore, where much of the damage occurred.
Amy Elliott, the spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City medical examiner, said at least 91 people had died, including the children, and officials said that toll was likely to climb. Hospitals reported at least 145 people injured, 70 of them children.
Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore was reduced to a pile of twisted metal and toppled walls. Rescue workers were able to pull several children from the rubble, but on Monday evening crews were still struggling to cut through fallen beams and clear debris amid reports that dozens of students were trapped. At Briarwood Elementary School in Oklahoma City, on the border with Moore, cars were thrown through the facade and the roof was torn off.
“Numerous neighborhoods were completely leveled,” Sgt. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police Department said by telephone. “Neighborhoods just wiped clean.”
tornado
He said debris and damage to roadways, along with heavy traffic, were hindering emergency responders as they raced to the affected areas.
A spokeswoman for the mayor’s office in Moore said emergency workers were struggling to assess the damage.
“Please send us your prayers,” she said.
The tornado touched down at 2:56 p.m., 16 minutes after the first warning went out, and traveled for 20 miles, said Keli Pirtle, a spokeswoman for the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma. It was on the ground for 40 minutes, she said. It struck the town of Newcastle and traveled about 10 miles to Moore, a populous suburb of Oklahoma City.
An earlier storm system spawned several tornadoes across Oklahoma on Sunday. Several deaths were reported.
tornado-0520-horizontal-gallery-550x309
Ms. Pirtle said preliminary data suggested that it was a Category 4 tornado on the Enhanced Fujita scale, which measures tornado strength on a scale of 0 to 5. A definitive assessment will not be available until Tuesday, she said.
Moore was the scene of another huge tornado, in May 1999, in which winds reached record speeds of 302 m.p.h., and experts said severe weather was common in the region this time of year.
But the region has rarely had a tornado as big and as powerful as the one on Monday.

D'banj signs Durella

D’banj‘s quest for dominance in the Nigerian music scene won’t stop now; he might have lost out on signingOlamide and Davido – but he has nicked another artiste, this time a familiar friend-foe.
The self-proclaimed ‘African Michael Jacskon‘, we’ve learnt has signed his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Oluwadamilare Okulaja better known to the public as Durella.
The move might however not come as a surprise to everyone, considering that Banger Lee (that’s D’banj’s new nickname by the way) and the ‘King of the Zanga’ Durella recently settled their differences. Some weeks back, D’banj and his DB Records crew released a single ‘Ibadi e‘ off their compilation album (D’ King’s Men) which featured a verse from Durella.
Fans were very excited to see the pair had reunited after a very long and well publicized fall out between the pop acts.
FLASHBACK
The beef between Durella and D’banj started in late 2006 when the latter accused Banger Lee of jacking his style of singing. Apparently when D’banj and Don Jazzy returned to Nigeria in 2004, they met up with Durella and soon became friends. Sources tell us that D’banj and Durella were quite close and were spotted together in the studio several times.
I remember when Durella followed D’banj, Don Jazzy to Jahborne’s music factory studio when D’banj wanted to record ‘Tongolo’ remix’, a source recounts.
Of course D’banj had blown up and had released his second album ‘Rundown’ in 2007 when Durella signed with TC Records and finally launched his career. It didn’t take long for Durella to blow up too with hits like ‘In da Zanga’, ‘Wiskolowiska’ and ‘Shayo’ gaining massive appeal. He also won the MTV and Zain ‘Advance Warning’ reality show in 2008.
Then came the interviews; Durella clearly stated that D’banj had stolen his style. The media of course jumped on it, comparing both artistes. Truthfully, they did sound very similar. And it seemed like D’banj was aware as he switched up the flow on the 2008 Nigerian Pop classic album ‘The Entertainer’. Their fight sort of fizzled out though as Durella later backed off. ‘D’banj is my man, aaah, I like his mo gbono feli feli jam’, Durella told Onome ‘BigTyme’ Oyaide in an interview on urban radio station Rhythm FM 93.7 in late 2008.
BACK TO THE MATTER
We are told that D’banj and DB Records bought out Durella’s contract from his present record label IKONIC Music where the Pop act’s career has been in limbo since he signed in mid-2011 after ending his three-year contract with TC Records. His upcoming album ‘Back/Better/Bada’ has been pushed back one too many times
Durella has signed with D’banj, he (D’banj) bought out the contract, that’s what I can tell you’, a source in Durella’s camp tells us.
A rep for D’banj refused to respond to enquiries after asking us to send text messages to her mobile phone.

2 Feared Dead As Fresh Crisis Rocks Ogun State University (Graphic Photo)

As early as 7:30 am today Monday 20th May, chaos started at the Ago Iwoye campus of the Olabisi Onabanjo University.
Students stormed the gates of the institution which they succeeded in locking as they protested the “anti-students policy” of the school’s management.
Some of the students revealed that one of the new policies stipulates that any student who does not pay school fees on time would not be allowed into the exam hall, which could mean an extra year for some.
Policemen however arrived the scene not long after the protest had begun, arresting the  President of the Institution’s Students Union Government James Ogunjimi and some other protesting students.
one of the students allegedly killed by the police
Reports making rounds on social media suggest that two students were killed during the protest. The pictures of the two students who were allegedly killed(one pictured above) has also surfaced on social media.
However the police spokes person Mr Muyiwa Adejobi insists, that no student was killed by the police during the unrest. Adejobi of the Ogun State Command said:
“They went violent this morning and some of our men were deployed to disperse them. The operation was led by a Deputy Commissioner and no live bullet was used so the issue of killing does not arise at all. They are just using the issue of killing to seek public sympathy. We don’t kill. That was the same thing they said when there was a crisis in Tai Solarin University of Education in Omu Ijebu, they said policemen killed four students. No one saw the bodies. That is what they always say to win public sympathy.
We know the way students try to get sympathy. Let them produce the corpse in the picture. They should bring the corpse to the police.”
