Boko Haram Member Arrested In House Of Reps Member House In Abuja

                                                
The SSS has arrested one of the wanted leaders of the Boko Haram at the residence of a former member of the House of Representatives in Abuja.
Hassan Pagi Bukur was arrested on Saturday in the Gwarinpa district of Abuja at the private residence of Honourable Tijani Umar Kumalia, a member of the lower house between 2003 and 2007, according to reports in the local media, which quoted an unnamed security source.
A security guard employed by Honourable Kumalia, a politician from Borno State, the spiritual headquarters of the Boko Haram, was also arrested by the SSS.
The unnamed source also revealed that the former lawmaker was interrogated by SSS officials and released. The detained Boko Haram leader, Bukur according to the security source was responsible for handling stolen vehicles used by the Boko Haram in its deadly car bombings

X-Factor To Launch In Nigeria

If you’ve enjoyed watching some of Nigeria’s top reality shows, you’ll be pleased to know that the Nigerian edition of popular reality show ‘The X-Factor’ will soon be hitting your screens.

The television music competition franchise is set to launch in Nigeria in a few months, according to insiders.

3m360 investigations have revealed that the brain behind this venture is none other than Rotimi Pedro, CEO of Optima Media Group (OMG). In 2011, OMG brought their first reality show franchise ‘Nigerian Idol’ (the local version of the Idol franchise), and in the following year, birthed the ‘Nigeria’s Got Talent’ show.

Insiders have confirmed ‘The X-Factor’ will be here pretty soon, but other details like the show’s judges and host, have not been decided. It is also uncertain which brand is picking the bills.

The TV series was created by popular TV producer Simon Cowell in 2004. It originated in the United Kingdom.

X-Factor has been adapted for numerous international versions in over 40 countries, including the US, China, Australia, Czech Republic and Colombia.

REAL Snake On a Plane

Imagine being a passenger settling into your seat for a long flight, when you look out your window and see… a SNAKE hitching a ride on the wing!

A female passenger snapped this pic of the 10-foot long python hanging on for dear life as the Qantas jet zoomed along at 30,000 feet 20 minutes into its flight from Cairns in northern Australia to Papua New Guinea. According to Mail Online, the snake was badly battered as it held on in freezing winds, but the snake survived the 500 mile flight.

Child Missing: Nailla Robinson

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing Philadelphia girl who was apparently abducted from a West Philadelphia elementary school Monday morning.

Police are searching for 5-year-old Nailla Robinson who was taken out of school by a woman dressed in Muslim garb pretending to be Nailla’s mother.

The abduction occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. Monday morning. Nailla is described as 40 inches tall, 35 pounds, with medium skin tone, brown eyes and black curly hair. She was last seen wearing glasses, a light blue shirt, navy blue pants, and black and hot pink sneakers.

Nailla was abducted from the Bryant School located at 6001 Cedar Avenue in Philadelphia. She was abducted by a female wearing head-to-toe black Muslim-style clothing with black gloves.

Nailla’s mother, Latifah Abdul-Rashid, told Action News the woman knew Nailla by name.

“A woman dressed in all black, all black gloves, niqab, and everything came in the school and went into my child’s classroom and told her teacher that she was me, her mother, and that she was taking her out to breakfast and Nailla was already signed out at the office and she took my child and left,” Latifah said.

Surveillance images show Nailla entering the school and walking into class at 8:45 a.m.

At 8:50 a.m. a woman dressed in all black entered the school shortly after classes began, and was seen entering Nailla’s class. Nailla is seen walking out of class followed by the unidentified woman.

“I don’t know where she is and if anybody has seen her, please call,” Latifah said.

Police ask anyone with information about Nailla’s whereabouts to call 911.

However, given the possibility of having the surgery – even at no cost – the 47 year old, remains reluctant to undergo surgery, the news media reported.In any case, Warren’s new found fame could have gone to his head and seems to be enjoying his celebrity status. “I will make a decision when I’M ready,” said Warren.He was also concerned that physicians selected might kill him during surgery.

According to doctors, Warren suffers from lymphedema scrotal, which causes the scrotum to swell with aqueous liquid. A doctor at the University of California at Irvine, has been in contact with Warren, and is also offering his services for free as long as Nevada Medicaid pays for the room.

Without the growth, Warren would weigh about 300 pounds, he said. Its large size makes urination difficult and impossible for a normal sex life.He attributes his condition to a painful episode in 2008 when he turned in bed and crushing the testicles. “It was like a sharp pain through my body,” he said. “When it stopped, it was like a huge truck and trailer went off the top of me.”

Warren fears of complications during surgery are not unfounded, reportedly because doctors say there is potential for serious bleeding.

However, Warren scoffs at the idea that he is more interested in fame to cure his condition: “Who would want to live like this” he said. “I do not want to die during the operation either

POLICE RAIDS RITUALISTS DEN IN ASABA DELTA STATE, UNCOVERS CORPSES OF UNIDENTIFIED WOMEN

Police detectives in Asaba, the Delta State capital have uncovered a hideout/operational base of suspected ritualists with scores of unidentified corpses of women.

The police command spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Famous Ajieh, said the detectives acted on a tip-off to swoop on the suspects in their operational base in Okpanam village where four of them were arrested. The Police, he said, found scores of mutilated and decomposed bodies of women.

It was learnt that the replacement of commercial motor cycles with tricycles popularly known as “Keke” had led to the influx of suspected ritualists who use the new means of transportation to charm unsuspecting passengers and take them to the hideouts where they are allegedly killed with vital parts of their bodies removed.

Leadership Sunday gathered that activities of the ritualists increased during the Yuletide in Asaba and its environs when they caught a pregnant woman on her way to church service along Nnebisi Road and allegedly hypnotised her.
They allegedly took her to their hideout where she met other persons being held by the suspects.

But through divine intervention, she was said to have been pushed away when it was her turn to face the ritual exercise.

Police sources however, confirmed that four persons were arrested including their kingpin identified as Simeon (surname withheld), who upon interrogation confessed to the gang’s atrocities while three others are on the run.

Ritual activities allegedly thrive in Ibusa, Ogwashi-Uku, Ubulu-Uku and Okpanam.

While warning passengers to be wary of the operators of the “Keke,” Ajieh said their activities had been placed under serious surveillance.

According to reports, the full album itself is set to be out by Tuesday, January 29, 2012. 

Many of their fans are eagerly waiting for the date to come, so they can see if the trio still have what it takes. 

That there is a reunion album is against the backdrop of statements made by members of the former very successful group, that there would never be a reunion. So maybe, the trio have now changed their minds. January 29 is only 2 weeks away.
