Wiz Khalifa Busted By The Cops For The Second Time In 2 Weeks!

North Carolina wasn’t very friendly to Wiz Khalifa last night…giving him his second run-in with cops in 10 days! I’m sure you can guess what it’s for!

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina tells us … the rapper was ticketed for possession of marijuana after his concert in Winston-Salem last night.
We’re told officers discovered 11.39 grams of of pot after searching the rapper and his tour bus.
Wiz was cited and released — and is required to appear in court at a later date.
As we previously reported, Wiz was caught with weed in Nashville on April 21 … after cops received complaints about marijuana smoke at a local Holiday Inn.

Tom Cruise takes the mic in 'Rock of Ages' trailer

Tom Cruise turns himself into a total rock star in the new clip for the anticipated “Rock of Ages” screen adaptation.

New Line Cinema released the second trailer for the uber-popular Broadway musical-turned-film on Monday.

In it, a long-haired Cruise - aka Stacee Jaxx - can be seen in full rock star swag, tattooed and at times wearing a fluffy fur, surrounded by scantily-dressed women.

He’s cavorting with similarly '80s-styled co-stars Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta and, last but not least, a monkey named "Hey, Man."
As fans of the musical would expect, the Adam Shankman-helmed vehicle is all about sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, and as such, boasts a big-haired soundtrack of '80s rock anthems.
Among them?
Classics like Journey’s “Any Way You Want It,” Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock and Roll," Warrant’s “Heaven Isn’t Too Far Away" and Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive."

Boko Haram Creates More Fear, Threatens More Terrorists Attacks on Nigerian Media Houses – Punch Newspaper, Vanguard, Tribune & More

“Islamist sect Boko Haram last night released a video showing a smiling suicide bomber drive into the offices of ThisDay and blow himself up, an attack that killed at least three people and made journalists a new target of the extremist group.
The 18-minute video posted on YouTube includes new threats against journalists and major newspapers, as well as the Hausa language services of Voice of America and Radio France International. An unnamed male speaker also threatens new attacks against the Federal Government, saying security forces continue to hold the wives and children of its followers hostage.
The message, relayed in Hausa, was translated into english. It reads: “This is a message from the public awareness department of the Jamatu Ahlis sunnah lil daawati wal jihad, a group engaged in jihad in Nigeria.
“We wish to explain about the attack we carried out on Thisday Newspapers. Some of the reasons why we decided to attack some Media Houses, especially Thisday, is because the paper was used in dishonouring our prophet, Mohammad (SAW) during a beauty pageant in Kaduna in November 2002.
“At that time, some people who called themselves leaders of Muslims came out to say they have forgiven those who committed the offence.
“But based on our knowledge, we know that no one has the power to forgive anyone for an offence that God himself has given judgement, especially on an offence that has to do with dishonouring Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“No one has the power to forgive this type of offence, and the judgement is for such persons to be killed.
“This lady Isioma Daniel that committed this crime, the judgement on her is to be killed at any opportunity; and the media house is also supposed to be driven out of existence whenever there is a chance to do so.
“We are just getting the opportunity to attack the media house, and we are hoping to continue these attacks until we drive them out of existence.
“It is our hope that Allah (SWT) will help his religion.
“We know that any genuine Muslim must have been deeply touched by the ThisDay incident.
“Thisday newspaper is also leading in helping the government in fighting us, alongside other media houses that we will mention soon.
. .”

Divorce not an option for Khloe Kardashian

“Khloe and Lamar” isn't canceled, as Khloe Kardashian's rep has told CNN, but the 27-year-old and her husband Lamar Odom are putting their reality TV gig on pause while they focus on Odom's basketball career.

Odom went from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks last December, but by April, he stepped away from the team following a mutual decision.
In the wake of those ups and downs, the couple wants to "prioritize a little," Khloe Kardashian tells People magazine. "We just wanted a little pause. Part of being married is knowing when your husband needs your support."

The couple will still appear on Kardashian's reality show with her family, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," but taking a break from their own E! show means "there's less pressure on us," Kardashian says.
"I'm a modern girl, but you should put your husband first," she adds. "I like to think divorce is not an option."
For fans of "Khloe & Lamar," Kardashian has been stressing that the show isn't over yet.
"Lamar and I have just chosen to take a break this summer," she recently told "Entertainment Tonight." "I feel like we've been on a whirlwind and doing back-to-back shows. We just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family, kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. We have a lot on our plate right now."
"We just want to be happy," added Odom, who said he hopes to be a part of the Olympic basketball team during this summer's games, and then go back to the NBA next season. "We'll take our time and we'll get back to it when it's time."

Finally, Microsoft Is Giving Us the Live-Action 'Halo' We've Been Waiting For

The long-rumored live-action film based on Microsoft’s wildly popular Halo franchise may be dead in the water (a point driven home by last month’s book excerpt detailing how the computer giant’s outrageous demands ultimately scared Hollywood off), but there is a new live-action Master Chief adventure in the works – and we’ve got details.
Microsoft’s gaming division is spending big to craft Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, a series of short films set to promote the release of the gaming giant’s Halo 4 this fall. Sources from MS say the project represents the “largest investment” the company has made in live action to date.
Taking place over five weekly installments (which will debut at Machinima.com and Halo Waypoint), each 15-minute episode will build an elaborate story about how Halo’s iconic main character Master Chief inspired a young USNC cadet. That cadet eventually becomes the leader of the USNC Infinity spacecraft. Basically, Forward Unto Dawn will be a prequel series to set up events for the franchises’ fourth game, which releases on November 6th.
MS is keeping a tight lid on the talent involved with the new initiative – no word on cast or directors yet – but they plan to unveil more details at this year’s Comic-Con in July.
The web series has numerous objectives to meet. Microsoft wants Forward Unto Dawn to appeal to hardcore Halo fans so they’re hyped up for the latest installment (which finds series creators Bungie replaced by a new team of developers known as 343 Studios). It also wants to provide an entry point for new fans who may not have played the earlier games or followed the ancillary material (books, comics, etc.) but are interested in experiencing the title without having to track all of that stuff down.
Still, the biggest objective of all is to rekindle interest in a full-on live-action Halo feature film.
We’ll have to wait and see if that comes to pass, but Halo fans can rest assured that Microsoft is still well aware of the cinematic potential of the series. “I don't think anybody needs any reminding of (the potential)," 343’s director of franchise business management Matt McCloskey said. "Everyone keeps reminding us of that."

The Dark Knight Rises seemed to be under the microscope during its surprisingly open production, but it's been relatively quite during post production-- and we think that's just perfect. We're tired of movies that break fans with their endless marketing cycle, and we appreciate that we're about three months away from release and we don't have eight thousand different trailers and TV spots giving us every beat of the movie (if only the same could be said of the equally-anticipated Prometheus, whose latest trailers reek of spoilers).
Granted, that may change, but for now we think Warner Bros. are doing a commendable job of keeping TDKR on our collective radar (as if it could ever fall off of it), without spoiling everything, and this new trailer only reinforces that belief.
There's plenty of new material here, particularly an emphasis on Joseph Gordon-Levitt, though we hardly get any clarification of who he will be playing, and yet the movie still feels largely inaccessible; as though are still plenty of surprises in store come July 20^th. But what say you fans? Does the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises prolong the tease of the conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy? Or do you fear it gives away too much, too early?

As a Manchester United fan, it marked the ultimate endorsement for Nigerian Afrobeat sensation D'Banj when Rio Ferdinand expressed his love for his debut UK single 'Oliver Twist' to his 2.6million Twitter followers.

With Red Devils midfielder Tom Cleverley also waxing lyrical about the infectious tune all over the twittersphere, D'Banj is determined to make all of his United heroes - including Sir Alex Ferguson - a fan of the song.
With his 'Oliver Twist' dance competition having already gone viral on YouTube, the Nigerian is hoping to see Rio and co. celebrating their goals to his tune - and has told Sky Sports he'll even nip down to the Old Trafford dressing room and teach the stars some moves.

Manchester United

I live in Nigeria and I've always been a Man United fan. In Nigeria, football is our thing. On Saturdays and Sundays, there's no traffic, you see people sitting down, everyone is in their house, watching a Premiership match or a Championship match. My family are actually divided; we have Manchester United, which is me, then you have Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans. It's very interesting on match days, that's why every Saturday we're watching a game - either to support someone or to not support someone. Either way you're watching the match.
I was just saying a couple of weeks back, I was in the States and I saw a Tweet from Rio Ferdinand, saying he was a big fan. He's actually been to Nigeria and he said 'Oliver Twist', my single, was actually his favourite Afrobeat song. I was like, get on the phone to Sir Alex Ferguson, get me to that locker room and I'll perform it for him before he goes out for his next match. It was so inspiring, because it's my first single coming out, and for Rio Ferdinand to say that, I know that's like me getting the stamp of approval. Tom Cleverley also gave props to 'Oliver Twist' on Twitter. I know he's injured so a speedy recovery to him.
I would be honoured to have players do my 'Oliver Twist' dance. I would actually come to the locker room - any one - and actually do it with them. I know Sir Alex Ferguson could do it, he needs to just move, move his shoulders. You don't have to be a professional dancer, you can even do it with the ball. That's the mission - get the players doing that.

Enyimba FC

A lot of young players have grown up and been taken to the Premiership to play for different clubs from the local Nigerian teams. At home I support Enyimba FC who are from the Eastern side of Nigeria. They're good, loads of players from the past who have gotten into the Premiership or Championship have played at this club before. It's a very good starter club. They're getting huge now - huge support and backing. There's also Sunshine Stars FC, who are also very good. I'm not always in Nigeria, I've been on the road for a couple of years now, so I'm always on Sky Sports, catching up with my Premiership and my Championship.

David Beckham

When I was growing up, I just wanted to be like David Beckham. Not just for the football part of it but because of the way he was such a brand. When it comes to the football, I respect the likes of Ryan Giggs, who has been there for ages, and Paul Scholes. I'd been hearing the name Giggs when I was just 10 or 11, he's a veteran, and I'd like to have a picture with Paul Scholes. It would be like having a picture with a superhero. It takes a lot of experience, a lot of skills and a lot of patience for someone to be that way, and also loyalty. I feel people like them show that sport isn't just about one person and make you know that this is a team. And of course I can't not mention Wayne Rooney. Rooney plays like he's in a gladiator match, he's such an intelligent player.
In terms of Nigerian players, people like Nwankwo Kanu, Yakubu, these people came from the streets and made it. They've taken on the language barrier and not let anything hold them back. Today, they're being celebrated as the world's best, some are retired but some are still actively playing, like Victor Moses

INCEST :Woman Had Sex With 16-Year-Old Biological Son

Mistie Atkinson  faces incest charges after she allegedly had sex with her 16-year-old biological son.

Police said they found Mistie Atkinson with the boy in a hotel room in March as they were serving a warrant, the Napa Valley Register reported.

Atkinson pleaded not guilty on March 9 to incest and oral copulation of a minor among other charges.

Napa police said that videos captured on the boy's phone show Atkinson allegedly performing oral sex and having sexual intercourse with the teen in February. She's also accused of sending sexually explicit images to the boy electronically.

"Atkinson and the victim are aware they are biological mother and son," cops said in a release.

The boy's father, who has sole custody, obtained a restraining order against Atkinson, The Weekly Vice reported.

Atkinson is being held on $200,000 bail until her next hearing may 10th

Birdman To Put Cash Money Artists on the Big Screen With 'Rich Gang' Film

For Birdman** and his Young Money/Cash Money crew, the charts are not the only thing to conquer. Up next: Hollywood.

In an interview with XXL, the YMCMB leader (and Billboard Power 100 player) talked up the launch later this year of his Cash Money Films project, which will serve as his creative outlet on the silver screen. With a few much-rumored projects in the works (including one with Omar Epps), he did confirm that he's looking to put the whole YMCMB roster - which features Drake**, Nicki Mina**j, Mystikal**, Busta Rhymes**, Limp Bizkit**, and Lil Wayne**, among others - into one film, with Weezy as the star. The movie is set to be titled "Rich Gang."

"We start shooting that in the fall," Birdman said. "That's the whole team. The Rich Gang movie is about the team. Everybody is going to be the star of it, but Wayne will be the center of it. It's about the team, everybody that's on the label."

It's unclear if that means that each artist will adopt some type of persona as part of a scripted film or if the project will be more of a documentary of the label, but it seems like Birdman is leaving that part of the process open-ended, at least for now.

"I would like them for just be themselves," Birdman continued. "I'm not gonna tell no ni**a to go to acting school. Just be yourself. We're excited as a brand about it. We got a few of them lined up and we gonna shoot them."

The CEO spoke to XXL while at the book launch for Wahida Clark's latest, titled "Payback Ain't Enough," which is out on the Cash Money Content book publishing division, and stated his desire to get her involved in his budding movie enterprise as well.

"When I got her collection, I was amazed at all the books she did already," he said of meeting the author. "I said, 'This is somebody I need to get into business with. She's hungry.' I'm looking forward to Wahida writing a script to one of her scripts and turning it into a movie."

World’s Greatest Gambler, Thomas ”Amarillo Slim” Preston, Dies At 83

Thomas Austin ”Amarillo Slim” Preston Jr., a man who called himself the world’s greatest gambler, has died at the age of 83.

Bunky Preston, Slim’s son, said that Slim past away over the weekend while in hospice care in Amarillo. Slim died of colon cancer.

Bunky said: “He was playing poker until the very, very end.”

Fox News reports that Preston won the 1972 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1992.

The Daily Mail reports that Preston got the nickname “Amarillo Slim” while playing billiards. He bestowed “The World’s Greatest Gambler” title upon himself after accomplishing several strange gambling feats. Preston claims to have beaten Minnesota Fats in a game of pocket billiards with a broomstick. He claims he beat Bobby Riggs in a game of ping pong with an iron skillet. And won a bet by beating a horse in a hundred yard race. (Preston set up 100-yard zig-zag course and beat the horse.)

Preston also authored a few books on gambling and advised players to “look around the table. If you don’t see a sucker, get up, because you’re the sucker.”

Jonas Brothers Leave Disney's Hollywood Records

The Jonas Brothers** have parted ways with Hollywood Records after releasing three albums on the Disney-owned label.

The sibling trio of Nick**, Kevin and Joe Jonas**, which has sold 17 million albums worldwide, also bought back the rights to their master recordings, merchandising and publishing for an undisclosed sum.

"This was a decision that we made as a group," Nick Jonas tells The Hollywood Reporter. "Naturally, as with any partnership, when you do part ways, there is emotion tied to it. We've been blessed to have a lot of success with Hollywood and with Disney, but speaking on behalf of my brothers and our team, we're all looking forward to this next chapter. We're ready for that next step as a group, and being able to take our work with us was so important."

When contacted by THR, a Hollywood spokesperson commented: "Hollywood Records and Jonas Brothers have amicably ended an amazingly successful partnership after six years. … We couldn't have asked for better partners or nicer people to work with. We wish Nick, Kevin and Joe all the best in their future endeavors."

Kevin Jonas Partners With Ryan Seacrest for E! Reality Show

It's a rarity these days for a band with Jonas-level success to successfully reclaim their catalog (for a hefty price, typically a percentage based on past sales and estimated future earnings). But to hear manager Johnny Wright tell it, the opportunity couldn't be passed up. "We could stay, or we could go," he says of the negotiation, which came after the band had met its obligations to the label. "This will allow them to chart their own destiny."

It also will allow the band to look at additional ancillary income from digital initiatives such as apps and live concert streaming, technologies that barely existed when the web-savvy JoBros signed with Hollywood in 2007 (with masters that they had wrested from Columbia Records after the Sony label dropped them). And then there's the most lucrative stream of all: publishing, which can take the form of valuable synchs and movie placements, foreign territories, sheet music -- you name it.

"The industry and distribution channels are changing so rapidly, we don't even know what it means anymore to put out a record," says Wright. "If we wanted to take another deal with a major, it would be a different than what we entered into when we signed with Hollywood. We don't have to become just an artist to the label, we could be a partner or do it ourselves and then come back later on. There's no plan here -- the plan is whatever we decide to make it."

Wright readily admits the Jonas Brothers had outgrown Disney, something that became evident as they contemplated their exit. "In having a conversation about moving forward, we knew we weren't going to do a Jonas show on Disney Channel and the likelihood of us doing movie in that vein was not there, so the big platforms were not really accessible to us anymore," says the veteran manager, who has represented Justin Timberlake** since his 'N Sync** days.

Besides, the guys longed to take some time with a new album (their most recent, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times," came out in 2009) without the pressure of a deadline. "We don't have to have a record out under any time constraints, so they're free to just create and explore and do it at their own pace," says Wright. "And they're enjoying it."

Indeed, adds Nick Jonas: "In these past three years, my brothers and I have not released a record, but we've really come into our own as men. And we've also lived life, which is an important part to making a record. … I've got a studio set up in my apartment in New York where we can all put down our ideas. It's a really liberating feeling to just be able to create and write whatever is on our hearts."

Wright says to expect a new Jonas Brothers album by the end of 2012 or early 2013. In the meantime, the guys are putting into motion their own plan for imaging, even introducing a new logo (see right). But in turning from "boys to men, to use that cliché," he adds that this is a band that hasn't yet peaked worldwide. And with all that they do both as a group and individually -- their side projects include the E! reality show "Married to Jonas" starring Kevin Jonas and new wife Danielle Deleasa (a co-production of Jonas Enterprises and Ryan Seacrest Productions), Nick's roles in the Broadway revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and NBC's "Smash," a new feature film for Joe and plans to sign acts to launch their own production or publishing company -- there's no telling where the Jonas train will lead them. But one thing is for sure: They're driving it.

"What the Jonas Brothers have already done in the music business, most people will never get to," says Wright. "Now it's chapter two, where they take those experiences and lessons and music and have all the control in putting it together and making a great business plan moving forward."

Jessica Simpson Gives Birth To A Baby Girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson

Jessica Simpson has finally given birth!  The net is buzzing with the news that Jessica and her husband Eric gave birth to a beautiful 9 pound 13 ounce baby girl that they named Maxwell Drew Johnson.

At the very least Jessica should be putting up baby pictures and stories of late night spit ups instead of talking about how horny she was when she was pregnant or her pregnancy flatulence.

Us Weekly is reporting that Jessica had the baby in Los Angeles, California.  She had shared a while ago that she wanted to name the baby Maxwell or a similar androgynous name in order to be a little nontraditional.  Drew is Jessica’s mother’s maiden name.

Since announcing she and finance Eric Johnson were expecting their first child back back in November 2011, Jessica’s pregnancy has made major headlines — especially for her substantial weight gain. But like the successful business woman that she is, Jessica is turning the negative scrutiny into a positive. According to reports, Simpson has signed a deal with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight as the company’s spokesperson!

Jessica Simpson and her fiance Eric Johnson got engaged six months after meeting each other.  They were officially engaged in November 2010.Simpson and Johnson had decided to hold off on tying the knot until after little Maxwell was born.  Neither Simpson nor Johnson was in any rush to get married anyway. During a March appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel’s show, Simpson told the host that Johnson “feels like my husband already.”

Did Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston Have an Affair?

3m360 is reporting that The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, had a secret fling with Whitney Houston at his Neverland Ranch and was devastated when the singer called it off.  They are reporting that Jackson dreamed of marrying Houston.  In a related story the Sun reported last week that six years prior to the fling with Michael, Whitney Houston had also had a brief sexual relationship with Jermaine Jackson, Michael’s brother.

The source for all of these recent revelations about Michael Jackson is his British bodyguard, Matt Fiddes.  Fiddes spoke to Michael only three days before he died.

Fiddes told the Sun before the interview,

“I loved Michael so much but I finally feel it’s time to get everything that horrified and upset me over the years off my chest. I also know this affair will end all the myths that Michael was some kind of child molester — he was a straight man.”

The affair with Houston was not the only explosive information Fiddes gave to the Sun.  He also claimed that Jackson was impotent for more than five years because of heavy alcohol and drug use.  He also claimed Jackson was a Nazi sympathizer.  He claimed that Jackson was haunted by baldness and was anorexic.  He also claimed Jackson’s body was covered with needle marks that he would call “spider bites” when asked about them.

Fiddes said of Jackson’s affair with Houston,

“One of the many stories that has never been told about Michael is that he had an ultra-secret affair with Whitney Houston that he never got over. He was furious when he heard she had also slept with Jermaine but this didn’t stop him holding a candle for her his whole life.”

Fiddes said Jackson and Houston  were both at the height of their popularity when they met.  they were also two of the biggest stars on the planet.

Fiddes said,

“They met because they were two of the biggest recording artists on the planet and mixing in the same circles. They instantly connected as kindred spirits because they understood each other’s massive fame. Whitney practically moved in to Michael’s ranch and they had a fling like any other young couple. But Michael said later he had always hoped the relationship had gone further, and I know he dreamed of marrying her.”

Paulina Gretzky Sends Out Scandalous Pics On Instagram

Paulina Gretzky once had a Twitter account filled with sexy photos. But after a stern talk with  her father, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, she decided to take a break from flaunting her body on the internet. Well, Gretzky has found a  new outlet for her revealing photos: Instagram.

Last year Paulina sent out a barrage of photos on Twitter. There were so many scandalous photos that Men’s websites like Coed Magazine and the Bro Bible compiled a list of the “Best Paulina Gretzky Twitter photos.”


But the 23-year-old bombshell deleted her Twitter account after a strong request from her father.

At the time, Paulina wrote:

“Having a nice sit down dinner with my dad about social media.” And then: “Taking a break from Twitter for a bit.”

But the “No Twitter For Paulina” rule has a loophole. She can still post to Instagram.

Gretzky recently sent out several photos to the new billion dollar Facebook tool, which showcase the young beauty drinking in her bikini.

How pregnant woman poisoned rival’s son with chemical

Chinonye Lucky, a 26 -year- old mother of two who is also expecting her third child, may spend the rest of her life behind bars for a first degree murder.  She is currently at the custody of the homicide department of the Edo state Police command, Benin city, where detectives are already putting finishing touches to her cases file.  She is due for arraignment any moment from now for allegedly poisoning a 16- month-old baby boy with  a killer chemical while the mother of the baby was away to fetch water.

Betraying emotions while narrating how she was overwhelmed by her untamed ego;  so much so that she threw caution to the dogs and killed an innocent baby, the same baby she actively participated in weaning, the Anambra state- born school dropout turned farmer living in Ikogu village with her Edo state born husband says, she could not really say what came over her that ill-fated day.

However, investigation shows that Chinonye’s mother, the third of a peasant farmer -husband, abandoned her and her siblings while she was two years old. She, therefore,  suffered  what criminologists call ‘fixation’.  Even detectives at the homicide department confirmed that  Chinonye occasionally exhibits traits of conduct disorder among fellow inmates adding that she  may need the services of a clinical psychologist.

As subsistence farmers, both Chinonye and her rival, Mercy with their siblings including the 16 months old baby strapped in her back, made for the nearby farm.  Their mission was  to harvest cassava tubers for the forthcoming market day.  While in the farm, their husband soon joined them but left almost immediately to inspect some traps set for grass cutters.  Moments after, Mrs Mercy left for the stream to fetch water for all.

Just then, Chinonye surreptitiously made for the hut which served as a resting place in the farm and by the corner of it was a container filled with chemical.  She  grabbed it and emptied some quantity into the mouth of the 16 -months -old baby who was at the time fast asleep on a mat.

The sleeping baby licked the liquid in innocence thinking it was a normal water.  However, pandemonium broke out minutes later when the mother arrived from the stream to behold her child writhing in pains.

He was already coughing blood.  Quickly, Chinonye rushed into the hut, grabbed the dying baby from her mother and dashed towards the express road screaming hospital, hospital.  As a virtuous woman,  Mercy could not leave the four children behind in the farm for hospital, instead,  she stayed behind to fetch them including her rival’s daughters to the house before joining Chinonye in the hospital.  But before Mercy’s arrival,  Chinonye was already rolling on the floor crying uncontrollably and refused to be consoled.  The baby was dead.  Nobody knew what killed him.

However, the lid was blown open after an autopsy report said the baby was poisoned.  Investigations began, and Chinonye was to confess later amid tears to detectives, that she was responsible for the death of the baby.  But she quickly dismissed insinuations that she committed the murderous act out of sheer jealousy.

“I did not mean to kill the boy after all they were all born in my presence.  Although I am yet to bear a baby boy,  that does not make me jealous of my rival who already has three boys.   I am believing God for a boy child because as I speak to you, I am pregnant.

I have lived with my rival in peace; in fact it is difficult for a stranger to know that we are rivals.  On that day, there was no quarrel between us. We all woke and decided to go to the farm to uproot some cassava tubers for the next market day.

At the farmer, a particular spirit came over me and I felt like killing the baby.  Initially, I was fighting within me on how to carry out the act but an opportunity came when my rival called to inform me that she was going to fetch water and that her baby was lying on a mat in the hut.

Quickly, I rushed to the hut, grabbed the gallon which contained some chemical which our husband use in killing grass cutter and poured some quantity into the baby’s mouth and dashed back into the farm as if nothing had happened.  It was when my rival came back that she raised an alarm that her baby was vomiting blood.  I felt bad and quickly rushed to the hut, grabbed the baby from her and took him to the hospital.

Though I did not tell her that I was responsible, I was troubled in my mind.  I did not know what came over me, I think it was devil.  All her children were born in my presence and I was actively involved in their weaning.  I just want God to forgive me because for about one week now, I have not seen my children,” she lamented.

However, the police through the public relations officer, ASP Bassey, said the law would have to take its full course.  “The moment our men are through with the investigation, she would be arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction. Even though she has confessed culpability, for us, she is presumed innocent until otherwise is proven,” Bassey said.

Report: Two students arrested for campus murder

In Ekiti, the State Police Command has arrested two students for allegedly killing a final year student at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.

Sola Falade, a 400 level student at the Faculty of Education was hacked to death last Thursday when two rival cult groups unleashed terror on the students in hostels outside the university campus.

Apart from Falade, who had a deep cut on his forehead other students were said to have been injured in the violence which erupted at about mid-night.

The situation was brought under control when armed policemen intervened.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo Aina, announced the suspension of pending examinations to enable the university detect those students who engaged in the crime. He also made it clear that any student found to be unruly would be handed over to law enforcement agents.

Don Jazzy responds to D’banj – ‘I wish you well son’

Nigerian producer, President and CEO of the Mohit’s Record label, Don Jazzy has spoken out on the recent wave of attacks by artist, singer and former (if correct to say) Vice President of Mo’hits, Dapo “Kokomaster Dbanj” Oyebanjo.
In an exclusive telephone interview with Ascology News, Don Jazzy started off by saying he never wanted the issue to become this messy, even as he was aware of the way and manner social media has changed the way people view issue surrounding the lives of celebrities; a reason he said was why he’s always cautious of what he says and the interviews he grants to the media.
Both industry power-weights have been at loggerhead over alleged multiple financial disagreements, discrepancies involved in the signing of artist Dbanj into Kanye West’s Good Music record label, Don Jazzy’s lackadaisical attitude, Dbanj’s alleged public irresponsibility among other differences and conflicts that popped up between both.
“I want to be clear on something that I’m not interested in going into the debates of whatever Dbanj has said, be it through an interview, the press, social media or whatever. People should try and understand that these are very difficult moments for me and I need my space, time and moment to carry on with my life and the production of good music which is what fans have known me for a very long time”. Don Jazzy said.
The iconic producer, whose famous introvert and quiet lifestyle and personality as garnered him an enviable amount of fame, respect and magnanimous swag in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, staunchly dismissed claims by Dbanj buying houses, cars and properties for the Mo’hits boss and fellow artists, calling it “laughable and not worth responding to this early morning” claiming that quick thinking fans know his individual worth and personal financial worth of each artist at Mo’hits.
The Mo’hits boss was however very cautious and even more diplomatic in blaming, accusing or countering accusations attributed to Dbanj in various interviews, saying many of those things could not have been said by the Dbanj and he isn’t surprised when Dbanj claimed his accounts were hacked and also not further surprised when his (Dbanj) publicist released a statement denying some of the statements attributed to him; specifically during the interview with Ebony Magazine that Dbanj owns Mo’hits. Incidentally, Ebony Magazine are yet to release a public apology as earlier released by D’banj’s personal manager and the ‘I own mohits’ part of the interveiew still not excluded as of filing this report.
The Mo’hits boss further said in the unlikely event he decides to let the public knows his own side of the story, there is the tendency for his statements to be misconstrued and manipulated by mischief makers who he blamed use few accurate information to manipulate the public into believing things that never existed (a hint that the alleged email exchange is partially true or totally untrue); an ironical situation he hinted would force him to rather keep mute on the issue and let it die a natural death.
“When this whole thing started, I felt people needed to know what’s happening and in all civility, maturity and wisdom, I made those less than 140 words tweet in 3 separate lines, now see where it has led me to. Mohits is a family and Dbanj is like its son and families do quarell. Expecting me to come out and start countering accusations by one of my best friends ever while accusing him also in the process doesn’t justify my guilt or my innocence or that of his, He (Dbanj) however has a right to his opinion to grant interviews to whoever he wishes to grant interview to, I won’t stop him and won’t stop anyone who wants to believe whatever he says either”, he said.
In further attempts to get the Mo’hits boss talking, he was adamant but rightly so, reminding us of how those famous tweets confirming an apparent rift in the Mohits house got him into the messy situation as we see today.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the end of a long era and the beginning of a new one..Some of the rumours you have all heard recently are sad but true…The way forward now is to make sure I keep bringing you guys more of the beautiful music y’all love to dance to….And to end d old era I will b donating the proceeds of my production catalogue from day one till date to five charity organizations. Thanks. IDJA”
“Really, if I start responding to every single accusation, then the ‘lazy’ person I’ve been called would come out, and the ‘Fake’ person I am according to critics would obviously come out since I’m not a talkative and you the media know that, I want the handwork of my music productions and the proceeds of good music at Mo’hits to speak for itself, so asking me to comment on issues like this, I really am not just interested, personally my advice to fans is to concentrate on good music from Mo’hits and huhh….well even from Dbanj himself, music is what we were made to create and not controversies”, he added.
It was not immediately clear the positions of other artists at the Mohits house at the time of filing the report as label members Wande Coal, Dr Sid and D’Prince have all been short of economical with their opinions on the rift between their bosses.
As for Wande Coal who in an although diplomatic, yet paradoxically intended tweet to Dbanj said “God please don’t let the success you have given me get to my head to the extent that I will forget my humble beginnings”; the artist has however deleted the tweet shortly after – another debatable scenario which Dbanj sarcastically accused Don Jazzy of personally tweeting.
The multi-award winning music producer however said he wishes artist, Dbanj all the best in all he aspires to do even as he (Don Jazzy) begins a rebuilding, restructuring process.

NYPD releases video of prostitute accused in $500G diamond heist

This is the savvy prostitute who allegedly swiped half a million dollars worth of uncut diamonds from a hapless gem trader — caught on surveillance video as she made her barefoot getaway from a Manhattan hotel, police say.
Erika Cooper, 34 — a k a Bianca Williams — is now the target of an NYPD manhunt for allegedly pulling off the April 17 heist at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, where she waited until her john Kurt Kaiser fell asleep before she fled with his loot.
Her big mistake was giving Kaiser her real phone number, which cops have used to identify her and dig up mug shots from an earlier prostitution bust, a police source said.

When reached yesterday, Kaiser still sounded enamored of the woman who cleaned him out. He confirmed that she’s the one in the NYPD photos and said, “She was young, hot, beautiful face, but flat-chested.”
The 5-foot-9, 120-pound Cooper, who has brown eyes, jet-black hair and pouty lips, first met Kaiser at the Whiskey Park bar on Central Park South.
Wearing a sexy short black skirt and high-heel pumps, she sidled up to Kaiser as he guzzled vodka and sodas after losing out on a deal to sell more than $500,000 worth of stones, all uninsured.
Kaiser told cops that Cooper chatted him up for 45 minutes and suggested the Cosmopolitan — after a pit stop at CVS for condoms and a $500 gift card.
He claimed yesterday there’s no record of him paying for the gift card.
Kaiser, who is unmarried and lives in Forest Hills, Queens, believes he was drugged. He passed out after sex and she was gone when he woke up.
Cooper, who previously gave cops a Manhattan address that doesn’t exist, has two prior prostitution arrests from 2007 — including one at the swanky Four Seasons, law-enforcement sources said.
Kaiser, who had two partners who were also burned by the theft, initially offered a $5,000 reward for the diamonds but yesterday said he was pulling it back.

The Breakfast Club Interviews Wiz Khalifa on His New Album, His Relationship With Amber, Waka Flocka

After dropping his new single "Work Hard Play Hard," Wiz Khalifa paid a visit to Power 105's The Breakfast Club.
The "Black and Yellow" rapper touched upon his beef with Waka Flocka and discussed signing Lola Monroe and ignoring people's opinions of him and Amber Rose in addition to telling the story of how he proposed to her.
Wiz made it clear that he is still unsure of what exactly the problem is with Waka. "Nothing happened," he said. "I ain't do nothing to that kid." He went on to explain "I asked some people around him just to see like what the deal really was. I'm from Pittsburgh. If people really got a problem, you've got a problem. So I asked 'Is this serious?' And they're like 'Nah, I don't know what's going on.' So I'm like 'aight cool.' That was that."
After revealing how he proposed to Amber first thing in the morning while laying in bed, the Pittsburgh MC discussed how he felt about Amber's past and the public's negative view of their relationship. "I never really looked into what people were talking about. Only thing I was concerned with was me and her and that never changed. It only grew and we're the best of friends and we just do more and know more about each other. We love each other."

TLC to Resurrect Left Eye for 2012 Reunion Tour?

And not only will they be resurrecting the late Lisa Lopes digitally, but her vocals are also set to be part of the show.
