Waka Flocka on Dissing Wiz Khalifa: "It's Deaded"

Waka Flocka on Dissing Wiz Khalifa: "It's Deaded"

By Vibe | April 25th, 2012
In a Hot 97 interview with Angie Martinez, Waka Flocka spoke on his beef with Wiz Khalifa.
Though he previously claimed Wiz had "no swag," saying he hyped his way to the top, the rapper is now squashing the beef. "It's deaded,"said Waka. "I ain't bothering nobody. I don't know what's goin' on."
But don't get your hopes up for a Wiz/Waka collaboration. The "No Hands" rapper quickly shut that idea down. "That's like me...rapping about cookies and creams and lollipops. What you gon' call me? Nice guy or a sucka? I got this album about to drop [June] twelfth," he said.
"That's a nice guy. ...I got cousins who like his music. That's it. We're two nice guys with good music. I want my fans to support that man one hundred percent. I don't wish any bad on him or nothin'. It is what it is."

Report: Secret Service involved in second prostitution scandal

A day after U.S. lawmakers were briefed on an alleged prostitution scandal in Colombia involving Secret Service members, a report emerged Thursday of similar allegations, this time in El Salvador.
Seattle TV station KIRO, a CNN affiliate, cited an unnamed U.S. government contractor who worked extensively with the Secret Service advance team in San Salvador prior to President Barack Obama's trip there in March, 2011.
The source said he was with about a dozen Secret Service agents and a few U.S. military specialists at a strip club in the city a few days before Obama arrived, KIRO reported.
The men drank heavily at the club, and most of them paid extra for access to a VIP section where they were provided sexual favors in return for cash, the source told the station.

KIRO said the owner of the strip club corroborated the allegations. The owner confirmed that a large number of Secret Service agents, and some military escorts, "descended on his club" that week and were there at least three nights in a row, KIRO reported.
The owner said his club routinely takes care of high-ranking employees of the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador as well as visiting FBI and agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, KIRO said. The owner said his reputation for "security" and "privacy" makes his strip club popular with "those who want to be discreet."
The source said he told the agents it was a "really bad idea" to take the strippers back to their hotel rooms, but several agents bragged that they "did this all the time" and "not to worry about it," KIRO reported.
KIRO investigative reporter Chris Halsne told CBS' "This Morning" Thursday that he considers his source very credible because the source told him about the alleged scandal last year, while Halsne was in El Salvador on a different story.
Halsne said he pressed the source for details at the time, but the man refused to go on the record. After the Colombia allegations surfaced, Halsne again pressed his source, who then agreed to talk.
CNN cannot independently confirm the allegations.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that an unnamed source says such behavior is part of the culture at the Secret Service and not a one-time occurrence.
The Secret Service said it has no comment on the Post story, but a Secret Service official, who was not authorized to comment on the continuing investigation, said "it's difficult for the Secret Service to defend against this," referring to the Post's article.
"The reaction by our leadership speaks for itself," the official told CNN. "Everyone was sent home. There's an investigation. We have taken action regarding the agents."
News of the alleged activity in El Salvador follows an investigation into an alleged prostitution scandal in Colombia before the president's trip this month to a summit in Cartagena.
The scandal involves Secret Service and U.S. military members who allegedly consorted with prostitutes.
Nine Secret Service members have resigned or are being forced out as a result of the scandal. A separate military investigation has yet to announce any measures against U.S. service members allegedly involved.
Two U.S. lawmakers said Wednesday they have heard reports of other incidents similar to those alleged to have happened in Colombia.
Sen. Joe Lieberman, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, said Wednesday that since the Colombia scandal broke, several whistle-blowers have called his committee with what he called "credible" reports of other incidents.
Lieberman would not provide details but said he intends to hold a committee hearing focusing on potential Secret Service misconduct beyond what allegedly happened in Colombia.
Shortly after those comments, however, a committee spokesman said Lieberman had misspoken, and that the committee had received a call from just one person claiming to have information on possible misconduct.
But Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said Tuesday that his committee has heard allegations of similar misconduct by Secret Service agents dating back years. Issa offered no specifics.

Nas Announces Release Date For 10th Album, “Life Is Good”

Def Jam Recordings and Nas has officially announced a July 17 release for the rapper’s tenth studio album, Life Is Good.

In a recent interview with MTV, Nas spoke on the ideas behind the music itself and some of the unexpected collaborations that he was involved with during the recording process. “A lot of the tracks have been my ideas – like I would take an idea from one of the guys that I’m working with, and try and put it together with a different sound that I had in my head with someone else and just try to get people to collaborate that really aren’t used to working together and to get something different from me.”

It’s been four years since Nas’ last album, Untitled, which received mostly positive reviews. Untitled included the singles “Hero” featuring Keri Hilson and “Make the World Go Round.”

The first single from Life Is Good, ”Nasty,” hit airwaves last August and sparked the much-talked about notion that Nas would be releasing his new album before the end of the calendar year, which came and went.

Nas’ next single, “Daughters,” which was produced by No I.D. will be released on May 1, four days after the visual for his current single, “The Don,” hits the ‘Net.

“This album is, of course, it’s been a long time, it’s been five years since I released a [solo] studio album, so this record is everything,” he told MTV. “This is everything that I’ve got to say…I guess you got to live a little, sometimes not all the time, but you’ve got to live a little and you put that in your music and it’s coming from my life.”

Life Is Good will be released on July 17, 2012.

Rihanna Tweets About Ashton Kutcher—After Mom Jokes About Romance Rumors

Somebody very close to Rihanna is obviously keeping up with all the relentless romance rumors surrounding the singer.
Her mom!
It seems that while the Barbadian beauty was attending the Time 100 Gala in New York Tuesday night (she recently made the mag's list of Most Influential People), her mother, Monica—who accompanied the singer—playfully brought up her daughter's alleged fling with Ashton Kutcher.
"Well.... 2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate.!" Rihanna tweeted later in the evening.
But clearly no love was lost between the two, seeing how excited the songstress was to have her mom in attendance.
"Mumz surprised me for #TIME100," she tweeted, along with a cute pic of the two of them together.
MORE: Could Rihanna Really Have Trouble Finding Love?
It was just last month that Rihanna set the record straight regarding rumors that she and the Two and a Half Men star were dating.
"I'm happy and single," she stated when the subject came up during a press conference in London for her new movie, Battleship.
Meanwhile, Kutcher has more recently been linked to his former That '70s Show costar Mila Kunis.
No word if Rihanna's mom has something to say about that, though

Micheal Jackson's Hologram To Tour With Jackson 5

Michel jackson
A hologram of Michael Jackson could appear alongside the Jackson 5 in future tours, according to reports.
The idea of the singer appearing in virtual form was suggested after Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg performed alongside a hologram of the late rapper Tupac Shakur at the Coachella Festival in Los Angeles.
Michael's brother 'Jackie' told The Uk Sun that he could see the singer, who died in 2009, being resurrected in the same way.
'It could have been Michael - absolutely,' he said. 'Wouldn't that be wonderful?
'As a matter of fact, we had the same idea two years ago for Michael's Cirque du Soleil show.'

However a source told the paper that while such a tour could potentially be 'the most lucrative of all time' it would take a lot of planning.

Iranian diplomat leaves Brazil amid sexual abuse allegations

Iran has recalled a diplomat from Brazil amid allegations he sexually abused children at a swimming pool, state media in Brazil reported. The case will be "seriously considered," Ramin Mehmanparast, a spokesman for the Iranian foreign affairs ministry, said Tuesday, according to Agencia Brasil. The 51-year-old diplomat allegedly fondled the genitals of boys and girls -- ages 9 to 14 -- on April 14 at Neighborhood Social Club No. 1 in the capital, Brasilia. It was not immediately known in what capacity the man worked at the Iranian embassy in Brazil. As the children reported the alleged sexual assaults that took place during a birthday party, angry parents confronted the diplomat, with at least one parent assaulting him, CNN affiliate G1 reported. "When the staff discovered it was a case of pedophilia they wanted to kill him," the father of a 14-year-old girl said, according to G1. "If the club had not deployed those security guards, today you would be interviewing me to speak of a murder or lynching." The alleged events were reported to a local military police station, which responded to the scene, a statement from the social club said. The diplomat had been a member of the club for about a year at the time of the alleged assaults. His membership has since been suspended, the social club said. Iran's promise to investigate the allegations is a change in position after initially calling the incident a "misunderstanding arising from differences in cultural behavior" and a result of media bias, a statement from the Iranian embassy in Brazil said. At the time, Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota pressed Iran for additional information. "We would like a clarification from the embassy regarding the very worrying accusations," Patriota said, according to Agencia Brasil. "We hope to get to the bottom of the facts and from there decide what measure to take." Iran and Brazil have enjoyed largely amicable relations for more than a century. Iran also has worked to strengthen ties with Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia and Cuba. It has opened six embassies in the region since 2005

Bomb Scare In Lagos: Residents Worried over Increasing Bomb Planting Attempts

With deadly bomb blasts occurring rather too frequently in some northern states of the country, it is no surprise that Nigerians are very apprehensive about this whole ‘bomb scare’ thing. The insurgence of Boko Haram attacks which has left hundreds of people dead has heightened the fear of Nigerians, not just the ones living in the north.
While there hasn’t been any bomb blasts recorded in other regions, people are still worried that the Islamic sect might just penetrate into other parts of the country, especially with the low level of security Nigerians are faced with.
The latest bomb scare in Lagos which occurred on the premises of a church in Ikorodu area yesterday further proves the need for improved security. A 26 year-old man was caught jumping the fence of the church and when he was overpowered by an angry mob, he confessed that he was sent to plant a bomb on the church premises.
Here’s the news report according to Punch:
There was a bomb scare on the premises of Methodist Church, Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu area of Lagos on Tuesday.
The incident happened when a young man, Olasunkanmi Ismael, was apprehended by the church’s security men following an alarm by neighbours that he had jumped the fence and gained entry into the compound.
The suspect was said to have attempted to escape on sighting the guards but was overpowered by an angry mob who had already gathered at the scene.
Upon interrogation, he confessed that he was sent to plant a bomb on the church premises.
Rev. Ogunsiji, a cleric at the church, said the young man of about 26 years jumped over the fence around 7:30am into the compound and was apprehended by the security team.
“A can cover was found on him with the words, ‘open in case of emergency’. Also, he said he was directed to plant a bomb in the compound. Immediately, we alerted the police at Ikorodu, the Divisional Police Officer and his team came to assess the situation.
It was learnt that amid the pandemonium, operatives of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (Anti-bomb), combed the area.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the state police command, Mr. Joseph Jaiyeoba, confirmed the incident.
Jaiyeoba added that the object was recovered by the police and calm had returned to the area.
He said, “The anti-bomb squad, led by an assistant superintendent of police, combed the area but no bomb was recovered.
“The tin cover was taken away by the operatives.”
Jaiyeoba added that the suspect was arrested and had been taken to the Ikorodu Police Division.
The incident was the fourth bomb scare in Lagos in the last one year.
On March 16, 2012, Ikeja residents and commuters were thrown into confusion when news of a bomb supposedly planted near Awolowo House broke.
The spokesperson for the EOD command, Mr. Gbolahan Moronfolu, said the phenomenon was expected due to the incessant bombings in the country.
Moronfolu however urged members of the public to prevent suspicious- looking individuals from staying within their vicinity.
This is not cool at all. It’s the fourth bomb scare in Lagos in the past one year and as the most populous state and commercial capital of the country, the results would be devastating if such blasts occur in the state.
In related news, football viewing centers in the country have become a target for bomb blasts. A bomb explosion rocked the Tundun Wada area of the central city of Jos on Tuesday, 24th April 2012 night. The explosion had hit in a football viewing center in the city. No casualties have been recorded yet.
There was a similar explosion in Yobe state on Saturday, targeting a viewing center where football fans had gathered to watch a match.
It is our plea to security operatives not just in Lagos but the entire country to intensify their efforts at protecting the lives and property of citizens.

Road accident kills 3 Ekiti Poly students

Ghastly road accident kills 3 Ekiti Poly students 3 students of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti have died and five others critically injured in a ghastly road accident weekend on the Aramoko-Ado Ekiti highway. The accident occurred Friday night, at about 11 p.m., directly opposite the Basic Health Care Unit of the Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti. The bodies of the dead students have been deposited at the Ekiti State University Mortuary, said the newly-posted Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in the state, Mr Kumven Rindom.http://streetwise247.com/images/stories/ekiti_students.jpg Rindom , who was at the scene of the accident on Saturday confirmed that 35 other students survived the crash. Also, five others who sustained serious injuries had been taken to the intensive care unit of the hospital. Rindom attributed the mishap to over-speeding and dangerous over-taking by a hit-and-run truck driver. According to him, the driver of the truck, despite knowing that the bend was notorious for accidents decided to go on high speed without considering its negative effect on on-coming vehicles from the opposite direction. He said it was as a result of the difficulty in negotiating a safe exit that an articulated vehicle carrying cement ran into the Coaster bus conveying the students from the back. The Traffic Control Officer of the Police in the state, ASP. Fatoba Olalekan, who was also at the scene, described the accident as avoidable. He disclosed that both the Dangote company driver and driver of the truck that caused the accident escaped, moments after the accident. The Public Relations Officer of the Polytechnic, Mr Adeyemi Adejolu, told NAN that the students who were all HND II electrical/electronic engineering students had been away to Lagos on excursion and were returning to Ado Ekiti when the accident occurred. The Chairman of the Ekiti West Local Government, Mr Tajudeen Akingbole, told NAN that the accident had compelled him to discuss the issue of having a special patrol on the road with the FRSC to avert future occurrence.

Malam Rapes 3 Kids, Lures Them With Sweet, BiscuitsMalam Rapes 3 Kids, Lures Them With Sweet, Biscuits

45-year old Hausa petty trader, Mr. Abubakar Suleiman, has been sent to Kirikiri Prison for allegedly having carnal knowledge of three minors inside his shop at Shasha area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. Two of the children aged 7 and 5 are from the same parents, while the last one is three years old. It was gathered that Suleiman allegedly enticed the kids into a kiosk with biscuits and sweets and then defiled them. Suleiman’s act was exposed when curious neighbours suspected there was strange movement of kids inside his kiosk. They moved in and discovered he was defiling the children. As the children confessed that Suleiman defiled them, the neighbours raised the alarm, leading to his arrest. The incident occurred at 7, Ifelodun Street, Shasha, while the case was reported at Idimu Police Command, Area ‘M’. The suspect was arrested by the police but was later released as the culprit was said to be close to some powerful Hausa Serikis in the area. It was after a Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, Africa for Human Rights, AFRIRIGHTS, led by Comrade Afolabi Gbajumo intervened in the matter that the Area Commander ordered the re-arrest of Suleiman last Friday. The NGO stormed the Area ‘M’ Police Division on Monday to spur the police to arraign the culprit in court. Suleiman was taken to Ejigbo magistrate’s court for prosecution. At the magistrate’s court, Ejigbo, the matter was referred to the Family Court 6, Ikeja, as the matter was classified as defilement and could not be entertained at the magistrate’s court. At the Family Court, Ikeja, Suleiman was slammed with a two-count charge of having unlawful carnal knowledge of two children, aged 5 and 7. Having pleaded not guilty, the presiding judge ordered that the accused be remanded at the Kirikiri Prison and brought to court on 18 June, 2012. However, the case of the third child aged three, allegedly defiled by Suleiman, was not brought to court yesterday. According to Gbajumo, her case would be filed today as the test conducted on her had just been released. Meanwhile, the test conducted on the other two victims by the Orile-Agege General Hospital showed that the hymen of the victims had been broken, showing that they were actually defiled.

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: ‘How Don Jazzy betrayed me’ – D’banj

culled from the net By Ayeni Adekunle ‘There’s an important person in that building, right?’ the cab driver asked. ‘Important musician?’ I nodded, too tired to let any curious driver drag me into a conversation. He got the message and left me alone the entire drive from Canary Wharf to the London Marriot Hotel, in Grosvenor Square. Then, as I got down to get my suitcase from the trunk, he gave me a knowing look, smiled, and said ‘are you the musician?’ ‘Of course not’, I said to him, smiling this time. ‘The musician is in Canary Wharf, his name is D’banj’. Silence. Confused look. ‘D’banj?’ Yes, D’banj. He’s big in Africa. You know ‘Oliver Twist?’ Silence again, then as his final ‘no’ came, I said ‘Google him.’ It was 4am on Saturday, April 21. I arrived in London eight hours earlier, and had spent almost all of that time chatting with D’banj, in his first interview with a Nigerian newspaper in a long time, and his first interview on the Mo’Hits brouhaha. London is D’banj’s town. He’s performed there over and over, his single ‘Oliver Twist’ is on the A-list at Choice FM, and enjoys heavy rotation on other stations. A day before I came, he spent hours doing interviews at the Universal offices in Kensington. Some might hail D’banj as the man championing the gospel of ‘Afrobeats’ across the world. But, just like the cab driver, London does not yet know D’banj. As we walk into the Choice FM building in the afternoon on Saturday, there are no heads turning or fans gazing. In fact, his lawyer, Elias, who wore a pair of loud snakeskin boots, attracted more attention than D’banj. Who leaves a zone where they’re comfortable and celebrated; where they’re established and successful, for a place where no one seems to give the slightest care? D’banj, that’s who. The 31 year-old entertainer has spent nearly two years building structures he hopes will help take his music to new markets in Europe, and especially America. This move, he believes, cost him his friendship and business relationship with his long time partner Don Jazzy. ‘I’m a risk taker’, he says. ‘Life is all about risks. But you must never endanger yourself. I don’t endanger myself, which is why, even though I’m here, I’m still in Nigeria all the time, performing’. With incredible energy, and the kind of passion that endeared everyone to him when he first moved back to Nigeria in 2005, D’banj says his deal with Kanye West is a case of ‘preparation meets opportunity’. ‘I pulled up with my entourage at the Emirates first class lounge in Dubai. We were returning from Scott Tommey’s birthday. I came down with Bankuli, my P.A. Chuchu, and my business manager Chidi. My entourage was large and I was looking fly. One of the hostesses ran to me with a Kanye West placard. I said I’m not Kanye o – then I told my guys ‘Kanye is around so no dulling.’ Chuchu and Bankuli spotted Kanye walking in to check in. They went to him and he said we could come over’. ‘As they came, I had my iPad with me, and my headphones. First thing Kanye said was ‘I like your T-shirt’. I wore a Zara T-shirt and a D&G ring. He liked my appearance and said he’d give me 5 minutes. I told him ‘I played with you in Nigeria during NB PLC Star Megajam. I’ve done a song with Snoop and we’re going to shoot the video now. I’d like to play you my songs.’ I played Oliver, Scapegoat, and Fall in love. He was dancing. He removed the headphones and said ‘I don’t mean to sound rude, but if anyone has to bring you out in the states, it has to be me, not Snoop. He asked when I was going to be in the US, and I told him I was going there that day. Then he asked who my producer was, and I said Don Jazzy. He said ‘come with him.’ Three months later, D’banj, Don Jazzy and their crew were in New York, where, according to D’banj, it took almost forever before they could establish contact with Kanye. ‘It was only an email address he gave us at the airport. So when we got to NY, we sent several emails but got no response. Not a single one.’ ‘Then we met someone that knew someone that knew another someone and we got another email address. We sent several messages again, no response. Then Bankuli sent a final one saying, ‘we have been in New York for some time and sent several emails. We have waited long enough and are now on our way to do the Snoop Dogg video’ And then the reply came. ‘Sorry to have overlooked your earlier emails. Mr. Kanye would like to meet with you tomorrow.’ ‘We didn’t believe it. Don Jazzy, who had been reluctant all along, still did not believe it. Even when we got there (Wyclef’s studio) the next day, he stood outside. When Kanye came I went to call him ‘Oya come now, come play am the music now’. It was difficult to believe it was real and it was happening. Then when Kanye came in, with the GOOD music acts, I was like, ‘wow’. From there everything happened fast. Next they were meeting Jay Z, making a presentation to LA Reid (At Electric studios), and discussing contracts. But while the label offered him a traditional recording contract, D’banj opted for a joint venture agreement structured to guarantee three things: retaining full control of his materials in Africa, signing Don Jazzy on board (on behalf on Mohits USA), and, he says, bringing the Universal/Def Jam imprint to Africa. ‘I’ve always thought of how I can be a useful vessel to the industry. A friend and colleague always says to me: ‘D’banj, you’re the Jesus Christ of the industry.’ So having ran Mohits for nine years, I already had plans of how we could blow Mohits up. I had plans of expanding, and most especially, bringing hope to that 11 year-old kid somewhere in Africa who may never have had the opportunity to get signed to major labels’. ‘So it was not really just about me. There’s a big market in Africa. I said to them, ‘I’ve sold millions of records in Africa, we’ve done millions of hits with CRBT, and I’ve run the most successful label on the continent. You take care of the US, but let me take you to Africa.‘ And I’m happy to tell you that we’re doing that. D’banj’s album will be the first under Universal/Def Jam Africa, and we’re already putting all the structures in place’. ‘I’m a businessman.’ I learnt from my mom, who’s a very successful businesswoman. So having run and funded Mohits for nine years, I knew we had to move to the next level. And everything we wanted was happening. Finally we could take African music to the world.’ Just like the lyrics of the song, D’banj was an Oliver Twist. Here’s a guy who had conquered a continent; was sitting on the top three list, and making more money than anyone else in his category. D’banj was a big player in Nigeria, where there are over 150 million people; a big player in Africa, with over 850 million people. But he wanted to play big globally, with 7 billion people to grab from. And that’s where the problem started. ‘Don Jazzy was no longer comfortable. You know, we were like fishes out of water, in this new system, starting all over again, like when we returned home in 2004. I got him a place in the US, set up a studio there, just so he’d be comfortable and be able to work without going to hang around the studios. In one year Jazzy did not make a song. I said, maybe you want to go back to Lagos, you’ll get inspiration there?’ I was all about the work, I wanted us to make this happen, so we can bridge that gap and create a path for Africa. But Jazzy wanted us to go back home. And I understand. He’s my friend, my brother’. ‘But I never expected him to do what he did.’ He said to me in July last year ‘Let’s scatter Mohits. He told me there are two captains – two captains cannot be in a ship. I was like ‘that’s not possible, this is a marriage’. He said ‘then this marriage is no longer working’. I said then let’s go for counseling; I asked, so what happens to our children?’ Don Jazzy wanted Mohits, D’banj says. And that happened on April 16, 2012 – after months of a bitter feud, characterized by accusations and counter accusations, widespread speculation, leaked emails and failed reconciliation attempts. ‘You can see he has signed already’, he said, showing the agreement with Don Jazzy’s signature. ‘I have full rights to my catalogue and full ownership of my Koko Holdings, while he has full ownership of Mo’Hits, including the artistes and liabilities.’ Already judged guilty in the court of public opinion, and publicly disowned by his own boys Wande Coal and Dr SID, D’banj says he’s sad, but not bitter. Does he feel kind of lonely, alone in the cold? ‘Asking me if I’m lonely because Wande or Jazzy has left me is like asking my first sister if she’s lonely now – she has two kids now, lives in Canada. Don Jazzy is still my brother – we just had to move on. We’ll still work together in future, same with my boys. In fact, just this week, he sent me the remix to Oliver Twist that we’re releasing in the UK on May 14. All the interviews I’ve had here, I kept hyping him. It’s already in my system – you know me, I’m a one-way soldier. Jazzy is a very quiet person. Loyalty is key. My loyalty still lies in the friendship I had with him. He was cheated by JJC, and I was present. I swore never to cheat him. But I’d like to think our visions became different. ‘It was clear when we met that Jazzy wanted to be the biggest producer, I wanted to be the biggest African entertainer, not the biggest singer. I had my mind on money. In order to say I’m the biggest, I had to be the richest. So for a very long time, he was on the back end. He respected my act, I respected his music judgment. Every meeting that brought us money I went for. I’d say I need to confirm from Don Jazzy because that was the agreement, even though I knew it was my decision. First Glo deal was $500,000. That Landcruiser jeep was because of my demands. It was because of the skill and exposure that I used to bargain. I’m a businessman’ ‘People say I’m less talented, I was known as a jester in the JJC squad. I’d make everyone happy and play the mouth organ, but I knew what I wanted. I decided to give Don Jazzy power in 2007 when we realized that after four years, they did not recognize us as a record label. We had signed artistes and done all this work. So we restructured, and restrategized. So I told him to chill, so he can be more respected and be the don. I’m older than him by one year, yet I respected him like a don. I remember when he came out at Ali Baba show, I knelt down for him, so people would say he’s the baba. All the talking in my ears and all, it was an arrangement. All the Soundcity advert and all, he did not tell me anything. It was all an arrangement.’ With his UK publicist Vanessa Amadi taking notes nearby, his manager Bankulli interjecting every now and then, and several legal documents surrounding us, D’banj spoke passionately of his former partner in the same way a man might go on about a cherished and respected, but estranged, lover. He’s on his sixth cigarette, and thinks the room is stuffy, even though no one complains. So he opens the sliding glass for ventilation. ‘Jazzy did his part’, he says, sitting down again and looking me in the face. ‘He made the music for nine years. But nothing stops him from making for twenty more years. We could have changed the formula. Why didn’t he want to change the formula? It was time to expand the business, Mohits was Motown reloaded. We always knew we would expand, he always said I had more swagger than anyone else he knows, And I know he’s one of the best producers in the world; we wanted to make Mohits the biggest in Africa. Other labels were springing up. So if we could conquer America, London when no one had done it before. Most of our people stop in Germany, or Paris. But this is America, this is the big league; it makes us the strongest, the biggest. We had already made the money. And who best to introduce me to the rest of the world? Kanye did not want to change anything about my music, my style of dressing, or my brand. It is God’s favour. But Jazzy was and is very scared. Something had worked for eight years, so he wanted to maintain the status quo. People are afraid to try new things.’ ‘But’, he tells me, still maintaining eye contact while lighting another cigarette, ‘I’m not afraid. I’m a vessel that God is trying to use to help the industry. I’m a bridge. Once in a few years, one artiste comes from the UK to run the world, none has come from Africa. Fela was the closest. It’s been my own dream; I made my name from Nigeria, unlike Seal, Wale, and Tinie Tempah. And I want to bring Universal, Def Jam and all to Nigeria. So if I can build that bridge, then we’re good, because it will give hope to the boys in Asaba, in Oshogbo that this thing is possible.’ The day after our Canary Wharf interview, we meet up at Highbury Islington, where he’s shooting a documentary and the promo for the Oliver Twist competition for the UK. D’banj’s new crew: Semtex (a white A&R rep from the label), Bankuli and Vanessa, are on the ground, working with the production team. ‘This is why we’re here o. This is the work’, he says as he invites me into the dressing room. ‘And when people say why am I not talking, this is why. I’m focused on making this happen. It’s more important for me to make sure I don’t disappoint all those who have invested in me; all those who believe in me and are supporting the movement, than to be fighting over who’s right or wrong. Even now that I’m talking to you, I don’t even know if I should be doing this interview.’ It’s very unexpected that D’banj – the super aggresive D’banj – is speaking in this manner. He has fought many battles, cut off many former friend-associates, ignored the Nigerian media, and reportedly humiliated several Mo’hits members, including Ikechukwu and Dr SID. Temperamental, often impatient, and vocal, those who know him will tell you the D’banj they know, is not the one that’s speaking. So I ask: The perception is that you’ve become arrogant, unreachable, proud. You’re not the D’banj we used to know; not the D’banj I used to know – and most people in the media will say this is true Obviously people will say stuff – but this is me. I can’t keep up with everyone, no matter how much I try. But I understand where I’m coming from. I cant forget my roots – all the interviews I had yesterday, I was ‘bigging up’ DJ Abass, he gave me my first show in London. You saw me giving Jazzy props in my interview earlier. That’s me. If I was arrogant I wouldn’t have been the one even chasing Jazzy around since he told me last July that he wanted to scatter Mohits. Last time I saw him was on February 19 at Irving Plaza. He didn’t support the show, and he only came on stage when SID and Wande were performing. I wanted peace. And even my mom, who had supported us from beginning, who gave us the house we stayed in (in Michael Otedola estate, Lagos), the Previa bus we used and paid for Tongolo video, spoke to his parents last December; ‘this is what your son said o’. I remember my mom saying to me, ‘if you guys have been together all these years, and no wahala, then if you need to part, I hope there’ll be no wahala.’ She was very particular about that. I had enough proof to have come out and speak; this thing has been on for a long time, and we’re in April now. But I don’t want to cause any wahala. I don’t want to spoil anything. I don’t want trouble. Right now, I just want to be able to move on and do my business.’ That’s surprising, because when the leaked emails emerged, revealing private email conversations between the estranged partners, all fingers pointed at D’banj. Don Jazzy, a likeable celeb and social media addict, didn’t have anything to prove. D’banj was the one who looked bad, and, understandably, would want to make a move that could earn him public sympathy. ‘The signing (away of my shares in Mohits) was already being discussed before April 16. If I kept quiet from January till now, what would it benefit me to leak anything? Remember all the stuff about my password and all? We know where that was from, I really wouldn’t want to think it was from him, my brother, but it could be from anywhere, but I don’t want to call anyone’s name’ But were the emails forged? Everything in those emails were facts. And I don’t even think the mails favoured me in any way. It’s not the exact mails that were sent and signed, but there were elements of truth in the mails that were published.’ Why did you tell Ebony you own Mohits? My mom advised me not to speak. And the interviewer took it out of context. I co-owned Mohits. We registered the business in 2004, and we owned it 50:50. So I spoke about that, but the interviewer took it wrong and the fans put pressure on them and they corrected it. How about Sahara Reporters? I never wanted to have any interview. It was on the eve of my US show. I was told I should do the interview, because they’re very troublesome. I had to do the interview for the sake of my show the next day. I was guaranteed that there’d be no politics questions. I had not been in the country. And I had been under pressure. Sadly, when that happened and I was being attacked in the media, none of my guys came out to support me. Looking at all this, what are your regrets? The truth is that if nothing went wrong, you’d have still heard all this good news and Mohits would take the glory, I didn’t come out in eight years to say anything. Everyone made their contributions. There were no issues, as long as it worked. My mistake was thinking that we were one. People don’t question their brothers and sisters. How do you feel about Wande Coal and Dr. SID taking sides with Jazzy? I won’t be too quick to judge Wande Coal. I hear it was Jazzy that tweeted those Wande tweets. I don’t know how true that is, but I know he had our social media accounts. As at a month ago, I couldn’t access any of my accounts. My password was changed on Twitter and Facebook. Then Universal intervened. I’m about to be verified on Twitter now. I’m not really a social media person, so it was Don Jazzy and some of our other guys that were running it. Wande himself knows the truth. He cannot talk to me like that. The whole Mohits knew who ran the label businesswise. They knew who to come to when they needed to get money out, after we recorded the album. Who knows the factory where Dansa was made? But you will know the marketing manager. The car he’s driving, I bought him a brand new Prado from Phyllis and Moss after he crashed the car he won from Hiphop World awards. I bought six Range Rovers last year. I bought D’Prince an LR 3 last year, he crashed it, then I bought him a Range, and it’s true that I bought two Bentleys. Because of Jazzy. But after July last year, after the issue with Jazzy, I bought myself the Aston Martin. You bought that? I thought that was a gift? I bought it. How were you able to fund all that? In the last nine years, there are a few people and corporate bodies that God has helped me build relationships with, either individuals or banks, or even corporates that are involved in the growth of the industry. I’ve enjoyed their support, and even now that we’re going global, we’re pooling the funds together from all these places. Could you possibly be Nigeria’s richest pop star? A billionaire? Vanity upon vanity. Money is material. In terms of what we’re doing, you’ll call me a Trillionaire, because this vision is too big for only me. With the help of the industry, the government, people like you Ayeni, we will not only be billionaires, but trillionaires, and not just me, but every little kid that has same talent like Beyonce, or Nicki Minaj. And with the standard of the UMG worldwide, we can pass people out from our own Universal Music Group Africa, Universal Def Jam Africa, and everyone should jump on this ship with us. It’s not the Titanic. There’s been a lot of confusion – what label exactly are you signed on? My album comes out under my label/GOOD Music/Island Def Jam. I’m funding the D’banj album, in America, through GOOD Music/Island Def Jam. GOOD Music is Kanye West who is co-executive producing with me. The deal comprises of Island Def Jam, in US. But in UK, it is under Mercury. My first single will be released in Europe on May 14. My work will be released in Africa through Universal/Def Jam. We don’t have these structures in Africa, and they’ve seen how much money they’ve lost. They’ve seen what I’ve done with Mohits. I made my pitch to them; I’ve made them realize how much they were losing in the African region. Over 150m Nigerians, over 800m Africans. 2% of that is 8.5m. They were not making anything except from S.A, which has been the US of Africa. So we will be launching this label in Ghana, in partnership with Vodafone, launching in Nigeria in partnership with MTN. Def Jam Africa will be up soon; Kenya, SA, and North Africa will follow. Why are you risking all this? What if you burn your fingers and lose everything you’ve worked for? Lose out? Well, I am happy I even have something to risk. To whom much is given, much is expected. Look at Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Jay Z, Kanye West, these people take it to the max, take it to where they believe that they can push it to. In the first instance, coming back to Nigeria with Jazzy was because I was a risk taker. And I wouldn’t say I’m throwing everything away. I would say I’m putting everything back in, in order to rip into the future. I get a broadcast from Tonye Cole everyday. He says when you tell people this your vision, know that it’s not for you alone – it’s for everyone. It’s like what Fela did. If what I’m doing doesn’t work, but sows that seed that will germinate in three, five years, it means my name will be written in gold. Some people have tried this before you, unsuccessfully. Do you have doubts and fears sometimes? My last album was in July 2008 – no album in four years and I know what I still command in those four years. The momentum for me to be able to do this is because I see how much it took me, I saw the benefit, it’s God, and the favour of the relationships we’ve built. Plus, I don’t take no for an answer, I don’t take negativity. It will work in Jesus’ name. If not, I wouldn’t have landed in the UK and hear Oliver Twist on the radio. Nor would I be in the mainstream media with them saying I’m pioneering afrobeats. I said to them ‘Oh hell no, that’s Fela’s music. Fela is the legend.’ So I pray to God – I beg my fans, it‘ll be good to do half a million downloads. It’s possible, it’s a different market. Platinum in UK is 300,000. I believe with the support of my people in Redding, Coventry, Dusting, Hackney, Thamesmead, Abbeywood, we can do it.’ And so, as I say my goodbyes and flag down the cab that’ll take me to Heathrow Airport, I can’t help thinking out loud: should one man sacrifice the wishes of the collective on the altar of ambition and material wealth? But then, what should be expected of the man whose dreams and ambition grow beyond those of other – possibly myopic- members of the collective: should an individual sacrifice his personal desires; derail his destiny, so to speak, in the interest of the collective? In all of this, faithfulness and loyalty have been brutally murdered. And the jury is still out on who pulled the trigger.

Nollywood Producer Threatens To Arrest Tonto Dike

Image result for tonto dikeh

Jumping from one set to another among movie stars has become a recurring decimal in Nollywood and often results in war between the parties involved. This time around the war is between controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh and a notable producer based in Asaba.
It was gathered that the controversial actress disappeared from the set since Monday, and has never bothered to show up till this moment.

Our source said, Tonto left the set, on the pretext that she was travelling to Lagos, only for her to resume work in another production.

As it stands now, the producer is said to have alerted the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN), and he is threatening to get the actress arrested should she fails to return to his set latest this weekend.

"This is the height of indiscipline in Nollywood. Tonto claimed that she was travelling to Lagos and would be back on Tuesday. Only for her to join another production. We have reported the matter to the Secretary-General of AGN.

"Her absence has delayed the completion of our production which we started nine days ago. We are supposed to be rounding off this weekend but we can't. Tonto cannot disappear with all the money we have paid her." an angry source fumed.
Directed by Nonso Ekene Okonkwo, Tonto is starring in the movie alongside Frank Atus, Queen Nwokoye, Oluchi Ukaku among other stars. The movie is titled " Blood Rage."

How Prison Warden Was Killed By A Police Officer While Celebrating His New Car

The deceased, Erezidor Ugo, a Prison Inspector, aged 30, is an indigene of Sabageria in the Kolokuma-Opokuma local government area of Bayelsa State while his wife, Mrs. Binafegha Ugo, a PA3  aged 25 is also a staff of the Bayelsa State Prison Command.

There were conflicting accounts of the tragic incident .While one version had it that the deceased was killed by a policeman who fired at him, another account stated that he was accidentally killed by a bullet from the rifle of one of his (Prison) colleagues as the police tried to disarm him.

When Saturday Vanguard visited the residence of the deceased close to Wisdom Estate, some distance away from the private residence of President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday morning, the young wife was grief-stricken.

Some neighbours who came to condole the bereaved woman also broke down in tears when the six year old daughter of the deceased, Tari came and asked her sobbing mother, "mummy why has daddy not returned, hope my daddy is okay? Daddy's body was covered with blood when he was taken away," the little girl said naively.

It was a sorrowful moment as his neighbours wept freely, wondering why it should be Erezidor who they described as gentle and easy going and loved by all in the neighbourhood because of his unassuming disposition.

The late Prison warder who had just returned with his wife from a wake keep at Sabageria was playing host to two of his colleagues who had come to celebrate with him on the fateful Sunday over the new car which he (deceased) bought last week when he was shot in the presence of his wife, also a prison official and her six year old daughter.

While the celebration was going on in a sit-out near his house, eye witnesses told Saturday Vanguard that one of the armed prison officials fired some shots into the air which caused panic and pandemonium within the Nikton road axis, in the heart of the state capital.

The gunshots reportedly attracted security attention and a police team led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in-charge of Ekeki Police Station, Nemi Iwo rushed to the scene, few metres away from Jonathan's house. The police team was said to have noticed one of the Prison Warders carrying a gun and tried to disarm him but he allegedly refused to hand over the gun and instead removed the magazine. The deceased Ugo was said to have collected the magazine and took same to his house for safe keep.

An eyewitness said a police corporal had earlier fired a warning shot ostensibly to compel the Prison official to surrender the gun in his possession. It was learnt that as the deceased was returning to the scene of the ensuing struggle to go with the police to the station, one of the rifles triggered off and hit the deceased on the left side of his stomach and pierced through the other side, leaving him in grave danger, eyewitnesses said.

But the deceased, Ugo died on the way to the Glory land Hospital, Yenagoa where he was rushed for treatment.

Shaunie O’Neal Issues Statement On Basketball Wives Drama

Shaunie O’Neal released a statement after Jennifer Williams filed a lawsuit against Nia Crooks for slapping her. Shaunie is basically saying she’s above the constant fighting on the show and not directly involved in the drama. Since she’s an executive producer of the show, I’m going to take what she has to say with a pound of salt.

“I’m extremely happy that Basketball Wives continues to have another successful fourth season. As the ratings have been through the roof since our season opener, fans continue to tune into the lives of Evelyn, Tami, Jennifer, Royce, Suzie and myself. As there is always controversy and indifference projected on the show, because we are all individual personalities, I always hope that people will find that as much as you may agree or disagree with the opinions, the behavior, [and] even our different taste in shoes, you are taking a look inside the lives of four complete different women. I will never say I agree with some of the behavior between my girlfriends on the show, but if we were to edit certain things out the show would be scripted and not reality. [insert side eye here]

As a woman of color with kids, I am very aware of myself, but I also have to be aware that my choices cannot be the same for everyone on the show and I have to respect that. I hope the fans feel they see a balance and know we have always been real with our stories, even though it may not always be a positive portrayal of adult women but real women nonetheless. I look forward to developing other media platforms in the future and hope that fans will continue to support.”

Nicki Minaj Explains Leaving Twitter, Meaning Of "Beez In The Trap"

Curiosity about Nicki Minaj abandoning Twitter has apparently caught on overseas, as the Young Money rapper broached the subject on a British talk show.

"A voice in my head told me to delete Twitter, and that's what I did," explained Nicki on "The Graham Norton Show."

When asked who her 11 million followers will follow now, Nicki replied, "I hope they'll wait for me," seemingly implying that she would return to the wildly popular social networking platform."I know they will."

Nicki also discussed her song, "Beez In The Trap."  "It just means, 'I am always...' you know, that's our slang way of saying, 'I beez doing such-and-such-and-such.' So it's really like, 'I am always in the trap.' Now, the trap, ladies and gentlemen, relates to anywhere where you get your money."

Nigerian porn Queen Afrocandy Audition Actors And Actresses For Her New ‘Soft-Porn’ Movies

American based Nigerian  "Ikebe Na Moni" singer and Nollywood actress, Judith Opara Mazagwu popularly known as AfroCandy is at it again. This time, she is recruiting aspiring actors and actresses basically not to make them stars in their own right, but   wants them  to act nude in her  movies.

Advertising this, on her facebook wall, on Thursday, AfroCandy admitted that it takes a  lot of guts for one to get naked in front of the Camera.

"I have scripts lined up for production and there will also be nudity in most of them. So, if you are an aspiring actor/actress, you have the passion and you will like to get naked, send in your info/contacts for casting and I look forward to meeting and working with you." she writes on her facebook wall.

Just last year, the mother of two exposed her boobs in two movies, "Destructive Instinct' which squealers said was produced by Theophilius Efe and directed by Chico Ejiro, and also "Ikebe Squard" co-produced by herself. As if that was not enough, she exposed vital parts of her body too  in the video of her album "Voodoo/Juju Woman".

Despite all the negative comments that greeted her last video, the singer was unrepentant as she  has continued with her razz mattazz of exposing her body. Little wonder, could it be that AfroCandy enjoys getting naked in front of the Camera

Suge Knight: "Maybe The Question is 'Pac's Not Really Dead"

Witnessing the incredible image of the 2Pac hologram perform alongside Snoop Dogg at the Coachella music festival last week was surreal for many hip-hop fans. For many, it was almost like Tupac Shakur was alive and well again.

But if you ask Suge Knight, Shakur might be still alive.

During a recent appearance on 93.5 KDay in Los Angeles, the former Death Row Records co-CEO fed into one of the biggest urban legends in hip-hop...that 'Pac may still be alive.

"Maybe the question is ... 'Pac's not really dead ... 'Pac's somewhere else," Knight said live on the air. "Nobody seen Tupac dead. The person who supposedly creamted Tupac, this guy got about $3 million ... personally from me ... cash ... and next thing I know I never heard from the guy or seen him again. He retired and left."

Of course, Knight was behind the wheel, riding with Tupac, when the rap star was murdered in Las Vegas back in 1996. The murder has remained a cold case through the years, as is the homicide of the Notorious B.I.G.

The 2Pac hologram was a breath of fresh air, only adding to the legend of the late great MC. As previously reported, according to a source that spoke to the Wall Street Journal, reps for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are planning out the logistics of putting together a tour that would place the West Coast legends alongside the virtual 'Pac on tour.
"This is just the beginning," Ed Ulbrich, the Chief Creative Officer of Digital Domain, the company responsible for the 2-D hologram at Coachella, told the Wall Street Journal.

Nigerian Pastor Sent To Prison For Preaching To Oba

A Lagos-based clergy, Pastor Aba Peter, who allegedly went to a palace and attempted to preach and pray to a monarch in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, has ended up in prison custody.

The 42-year old pastor was held by the monarch’s aides and handed over to the police where he was charged to Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court with attempt to steal and loitering.

The incident happened at Ifoshi Road in the palace of Oojon of Ejigbo, Oba Moruf Ojoola.

Pastor Peter was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri, Lagos after he was granted bail and he failed to meet the conditions.

The pastor claimed that contrary to what the police at Ejigbo station charged him with he wanted to enter the palace to preach and pray.

He explained that he had not even entered the palace before the Oba’s aides held and accused him of loitering and attempting to steal in the palace.
He was handed over to the police who subsequently charged him to court.

He pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs. M. B. Folami, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

The matter was adjourned, while he was remanded in custody.
Sources gathered that the pastor usually preaches in the area but was unlucky to have ended up that way on the fateful day.

Trailer crushes teenager after writing WASCE

Tragedy struck in Ikere-Ekiti when a truck crushed a teenager writing the ongoing West African School Certificate Examinations.

Sources gathered that Blessing Fagbemi, who just finished writing one of his papers, left Ado-Ekiti for Ikere on a motorcycle to attend the All Nigerian Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers.

The boy, said to be around 16 years, was reported to have come to Ado-Ekiti from Osun State, where he was writing the exam.

Fagbemi was said to have left the venue of the conference for Ikere town to visit some of his friends.

But the teenager, who was on a motorcycle with one of his friends, was crushed by a trailer in Ikere town.

His friend, who was in the back seat, was said to have jumped off the bike when he realised that it was going underneath the truck.

Residents of the town said that policemen drafted to the scene of the accident deposited the corpse at the mortuary of the state General Hospital, Ikere, before the arrival of his father.

The Divisional Police Officer, Ikere, Mr. Olusegun Olatunji, told journalists that the driver of the truck had been charged for manslaughter.

He added that the case had been adjourned till June 1, 2012 and the remains of the boy had been buried by the family

20-year-old Okada rider hangs self

A 20- year- old commercial motorcyclist popularly known as Okada, Onuigbo Nwode, hanged himself yesterday in Awka for losing his motorcycle to armed bandits.

Sources said the deceased relocated to Akwa to engage in Okada business about three years ago from Ezza in Ebonyi State.

The motorcycle, it was learnt, was stolen in Awka town along Zik Avenue around 1am yesterday.

He reportedly hanged himself around 2.30am.

The State Police Command through its Public Relations Officer, Emeka Chukwuemeka, confirmed the incident.
He refused to speak further on the incident.
It was gathered that the victim’s body had been removed from Ichida road in Umudioka where the incident happened by the police and deposited in mortuary.

A source who claimed to be a relation to the deceased said Nwode came to their house weeping and looking dejected after finding out his motorcycle had been stolen.

The 22-year-old said, "We were three from Ebonyi in that room and when we saw how he was feeling, we started consoling him and at a time all of us fell asleep, we never knew he had other plans.

"When I eventually woke up to go and ease myself, I found out that Nwode was not around and I went outside with the other brothers to urinate. That was when I saw something dangling which I drew their attention to.

"When we flashed a touch- light towards it, we found it was Nwode’s body. That was how we raised alarm and neigbours started trooping out.

ENITAN’S TRUE NUDE STORY

This morning, I got a mail from Enitan Adeshola Okesanya, the 300-level student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ, Ogba, whose story of her willingness to pose nude to break into Nollywood filled various online news media.
As I read her mail, I felt sorry for her and I begin to wonder what Journalism is turning into in our country.
Read her full story below:
My name is Enitan Adesola Okesanya, I am a year three student of Nigerian Institute of Journalism. I live like normal people do, I wake up, pray, eat and carry out my daily activities, which would be to attend lectures but everything changed one certain morning, on the first week of April 2012.
THIS IS HOW THE NUDE, BIG BANG STORY CAME ABOUT
I was approached in school by a former school mate who now works with PM News, he said he wanted to do a story on me since I had done some TV works, he said he wanted an interview which I granted.
In the interview he asked me questions like why I wanted to act and what is my drive, to which I said acting is my passion, he asked me if making money was one of the reasons and I honestly told him that I wanted to be rich (who doesn’t want to be rich). I trusted this certain person, I mean he never did anything to warrant otherwise, so why won’t I give an interview to help his career (since I thought that was what I was doing). Boy was I wrong.
When I read the interview, I realized I was a pun in his scheme, a plaything to both him and his Editor or whoever put the title and let the story run. There were many miss-quotes for example, I never said “I hate poverty”, I said “I want to be rich”. They say I have gone nude to break into Nollywood, but they are yet to show me the nude pictures they have of me. Mind you, I did give them pictures to run with the supposed story, but they did not use any, guess it would have deeply flawed their writing.

Addressing the issue of somebody else uplifting my name with the story and putting naked pictures alongside it, that is an entire thing all together. This other issue does not affect only me but affect my entire family. I am the first child in a family of six, and I lost my father in 2010. Those of you that are first daughters or first sons know the continuous mounting pressure to be an example to your younger siblings. My father is DEAD and I miss him so much, all I have of him is his name, so you see, this thing tarnishes the name my father has worked hard to maintain (why would I want to tarnish my late father’s name?). I do not know the real story of the nude pictures and I do not care, I just want this sordid affair straightened out and it not be the cause of my mom’s heart attack. One death in the family is enough.
When this story first blew, I called the person who interviewed me and asked him why he said I had nude pictures and twisted my words to make me sound like a bimbo, he told me he wanted to cause a controversy. Can you imagine? A controversy at the expense of my late father’s name, at the expense of shaming my mother.
You can check out my picture on facebook and twitter(my name is my ID) to compare with the nude pictures, see for yourself the REAL TRUTH.
Anyway, the good I decide to take from this is that now I know how horrible people can be to climb the success ladder. So I decided to write this to let all of you hear me out, not only that but to share this with millions of young girls like me who are possible victims of this kind of scam, so that they can learn from what has been done to me IN THE NAME OF JOURNALISM.
I have be in productions like Heavens Gate, were I played a secretary, a niece in Dormitory 8, a maiden in the new movie I’ll take my Chances. It is left for you to decide if I would have gotten the jobs from these respectable directors on the projects if I had done what is said of me. My verdict is in your hands.
But remember, before you continue to judge and throw stones at me, put yourself in my shoes. This could have happened to YOU, YOU or even YOU, yes, any of YOU.
