Whoa! 5 REALLY Dope Things We Never Knew About Jay-Z Revealed By Young Guru!!

This is really dope! Producer Young Guru, who has worked closely with Jay on many projects, revealed to Complex 15 things that we likely never knew about Jay. Find out what they are below.

1.He Watches Every YouTube Rapper
Young Guru: “Jay-Z has probably watched every SMACK DVD, Grind Time battle, freestyle, and every battle that has ever been on YouTube. If you ever battle in any situation that has any remote type of promotion, he’s seen it. He calls me like, ‘Please come watch this battle.’ Jay watches all of them. I mean all of them. Every battle that has ever been on. Jay watches these dudes freestyle on YouTube. Like, if you’re a battle MC from Philly, you may not have been in a battle but you just get on YouTube and start rapping, Jay watches those religiously. It’s just the weirdest thing in the world but he really loves it to the point where I’m like, ‘Yo, turn it off.’”

2.Him & Beyoncé Leave Restaurants Separately
Young Guru: “Jay doesn’t lust for the limelight. He ain’t want all this nonsense of having to leave restaurants at a different time than [Beyoncé] because [the paparazzi] get more money if they snap both of them together. That’s so corny. He just wants to go and eat but he’s gotta think about dumb shit like that now. They can’t walk out the restaurant together. How dumb is that? But it’s reality.”

3. He’s Nice At Basketball
Young Guru: “[When we were recording The Blueprint 3] Kanye was like, ‘I just bought the crib in Hawaii. Come through, I’ll have the cook cook for us and we’ll go run ball before we hit the studio.’ We get up, me and Jay go over there, we eat breakfast, Kanye’s showing us this nice new crib, and then we go out and play ball. It wasn’t even like we shut down or rented a whole gym. We just rode around, found an outside court at some kid’s school, and we played ball. The kids looked outside and was like, ‘Oh shit that’s Kanye and Jay-Z playing ball on our court.’ We all went out and had a nice little exercise. Jay is absolutely nice at ball. He’s got a nice 12-foot jumper. He knows the game. He’s smart about the game. For Kanye and them it’s more exercise; they’re not ballers. I came from playing ball; I played ball in high school and college. For me, it’s like I’m super out of shape but I can’t let Kanye and Don C. beat me in basketball. I gotta use what I know to win the game. But that game was more about getting together and brotherhood thing.”

4.Jay Lets Young Guru Keep All His Music
Young Guru: “That’s part of where my job extends beyond normal engineering because once Jay got comfortable with me, it was more than ‘Record and mix my albums.’ It became ‘Oversee my music.’ That means, I hold it all. “First of all, Jay doesn’t want any of his music on any other drives but my hard drive. If it leaks, it’s on me. For Jay, it’s safer to have me as his central base versus it being scattered all over the city. Whether I mix them or not, I gather all the mixes. If Timbaland’s guy mixed this and Pharrell mixed this, I got all the mixes. I go present all the mixes to our mastering guy. I sit with the mastering guy doing the tweeks and EQing, doing the spacing in-between the records, all of that stuff. And we put the whole album together. If CBS is putting ‘Heart of the City’ in the beginning of some cop show, they’ll come to me and be like, ‘Can I get the instrumental TV track?’ because they know I hold everything. If he’s in Rocawear and we need a voice-over, call Guru. It’s those type things. That all falls into my responsibility. It’s gone beyond the normal thing. It’s become a gig to take care of Jay-Z’s musical world.”

5.His Adlibs Are Live
Young Guru: “If you hear Jay-Z say, ‘Guru, tell that girl open that Ace’ or ‘Turn the lights down,’ on a song, he’s really talking [to people in the studio]. Like on Scarface’s ‘Guess Who’s Back,’ when he’s talking in the beginning and he’s like, ‘Gu turn my headphones down, my headphones distorting,’ that’s all real.”

Put On Your Safety Belt Ladies – Rape Cases On The Rise as 4 University of Lagos Students Gang Rape 17year-old Female Student

This frequent news of rape is getting really creepy. What is happening in our citadels of learning? Why are the people who are supposed to have high moral standards, the so-called “educated” people in the country now turning into rapists? In Nigeria where there is a tough clamour for admission into tertiary institutions, much is expected from one who is sent to the University, rape not inclusive.

It is therefore annoying and at the same time saddening for me as a former female student of University of Lagos to read news of a gang rape among its students.

This is how Vanguard News reported it:

Four students of the University of Lagos were on Tuesday charged before an Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly gang raping a 17-year-old girl.
The accused – Jeremiah Bamigbayan, 18; Lanre Olayemi, 19; Abisoye Atoyegbe, 18; and Nelson Onyeoziri, 18 – are facing a three-count charge of rape, conspiracy and assault.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges.
But the prosecutor, ASP Innocent Effiong, said the accused, all of the Business Administration Department, allegedly committed the offence when they conspired and raped their victim on March 17.
He said the alleged victim, a student of History and Strategic Studies of the same university, was overpowered and raped at about 10.30 p.m. at Ozolua Boys Quarters on the campus.
Effiong said the offences contravened Section 258, 259 and 409 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State 2011.
Magistrate Adesola Ikpatt granted the accused bail in the sum of N100, 000 each, with two sureties each in like sum.
She adjourned the case to April 30 for mention.

While we are still recovering from the shock of the gang rape at Abia State University last year where the students had the effrontery to shoot a video of their sexual assault of the victim, four Unilag students are following suit with an act such as this!

What is more saddening is the fact that the perpetrators and their victim are just teenagers. From the way it looks, they were probably friends with the girl who must have trusted them enough to go with them into their quarters.

I remember what Ozolua Boys Quarters was like as a student – the choice accommodation for the “big boys” who didn’t want to stay in the cramped student hostels. It was in a serene and secluded area of the campus belonging to lecturers who charged jaw-dropping rents for the students who stayed there. Without trying to sound condescending, these boys were probably children from affluent homes who might have been under the influence of alcohol or some substances to do this to a fellow student.

I say that for obvious reasons – Unilag is an institution that has one of the least records of cult incidences among other government-owned tertiary institutions in the country (at least that is how it was a few years ago). The environment was generally peaceful and free from threat. This is not to say students weren’t cautious of moving around dark places at night. However, for her to be at such a secluded part of the campus at 10.30 pm, she was probably dating one of the guys or planned to spend the night there.

In a society where cases of husbands brutalizing, stabbing, maiming and killing their wives is on the rise, this incidence puts more fear in the minds of young ladies. Isn’t it safe to stay around young men anymore? Who then can you trust, if you can’t trust your husband, your “friends”, your colleagues at school?

Early last year, another 17 year-old female Unilag student was drugged by a male “friend” when she went to his house for a visit. Sadly, she died from the effect of the drug the day after.

I think this is a wake-up call to ladies. Please be more careful with whom you trust, who you stay in secluded places with. If your instincts tells you to run, please run. Tread softly with people whose character you aren’t sure of. You can never be too careful.

PS: And in case you didn’t know, there is something called an “Anti-Rape Female Condom”. Also called “Rape-axe”, it was designed by a South African doctor. It features rows of jagged hooks designed to attach to a man’s penis during penetration. Once attached, the condom can only be removed by a doctor (at which time he will get caught). When attached, it hurts the man, he cannot pee and he cannot walk and if he tries to remove it, it will clasp even tighter. I’d surely like to see a rapist caught on this! Read more about it here.

Woman in controversial Belvedere Vodka "rape"

A VOCAL actress from Los Angeles is suing the makers of Belvedere Vodka after the firm allegedly used her image without permission in a controversial ad that appears to show a woman about to be date-raped.

The ad shows a shocked Alicyn Packard trying to get away from the clutches of a man, with the tagline, "Unlike Some People, Belvedere Always Goes Down Smooth".

Packard, who says she never gave Belvedere producers Moet Hennessy USA permission to use her picture, is suing the company for negligent infliction of emotional distress and misappropriation of likeness, KTLA reported.

She claims the image was stolen from a comedy video made by her company, Strictly Viral Productions.

Packard, who is the voice of Little Miss Sunshine on The Mr Men Show, said the repercussion of being pictured in the tasteless ad had "been huge".

"It's been a really terrible experience - the whole thing," she said. "To be affiliated with an ad that's so offensive to so many has just been horrible. I just want to distance myself from the ad as much as possible."

Charles Gibb, the president of Belvedere Vodka, called the ad "completely inappropriate" and said it had been removed.

"I would like to personally apologize for the offensive post that recently appeared on our Facebook page," Gibb said in a statement on the company's website. "It should never have happened, and the company will take whatever steps are necessary to make sure that it never happens

Former Rikers Island Prison Guard Admits To Having Sex With Inmates And Selling Them Drugs

Of all the crazy stories we’ve heard about Rikers, this is quite a memorable one. A former city Corrections officer made her job sound like a party after she admitted Thursday to having sex with an inmate and selling Ecstasy, cigarettes and booze while she worked on the Island. More details below…

Clara Espada, 41, pleaded guilty to third-degree bribe receiving — a D-class felony — and misdemeanor forcible touching.

A criminal complaint says Espada had sex three times with a male inmate, who has not been named.

He told investigators he slept with the officer and helped broker deals that netted the woman nearly $300 a week over four months, court documents show.

Espada was arrested Wednesday after an eight-month investigation , the Department of Investigation said.

The crimes were committed in the George Motchan Detention Center between July 2009 and January 2010, while Espada — who has worked for the Corrections Department since December 2004 — was earning a $76,488 salary.

She was restricted from inmate contact and placed on modified duty in June 2011 when the investigation first began, according to the DOI.

“Arrest, prosecution, jail time, and the loss of a valuable city job is the likely end for any correction officer who receives bribes to transport contraband into the city jails,” DOI Commissioner Rose Gill Hearn said.

Under the plea deal, Espada — who resigned from her Corrections post earlier this month — is expected to be sentenced to six months behind bars followed by three years probation, the DOI said.

Mother faces contempt, jail for baptizing children

A Shelby County mother faces contempt-of-court charges and possible jail time for baptizing her two children without the knowledge or consent of her ex-husband.

This week the Tennessee Court of Appeals said Lauren Jarrell must face a criminal contempt hearing for violating a court order that said major decisions regarding the religious upbringing of her two children should be made jointly with the children's father.

Both parents are Christian. Emmett Blake Jarrell, the father, is a member of the United Methodist Church, and she's a Presbyterian.

The father, according to court records, thought the children should be baptized when they are older and better able to understand the significance of the baptismal ceremony. The couple, according to court records, had even consulted a minister when they were married because they couldn't agree what age was best for the kids to be baptized. Records show the children will be 5 and 7 next month.

"Obviously she knew that the father did not want the children baptized at that age and she did that without telling him," Memphis attorney Any Amundsen, who is not involved in the case, said of the mother. "She violated the court order."

The Court of Appeals decision sides with the father, who had asked that his ex-wife be convicted of criminal contempt after discovering that she baptized the kids against his wishes.

A lower court has already found the mother in contempt of court. The appellate court decision overturned that decision and said criminal contempt proceedings are more appropriate because the mother can't undo the baptisms.

Legal experts disagree on whether the appellate court decision is treading into the forbidden territory of deciding spiritual doctrine or is just upholding the law when a parent is accused of flagrantly violating a court order.

The parents could not be reached for comment. Their attorneys did not return calls to The Associated Press.

Court records show that the mother argued that it was wrong for the lower court to find her in contempt it was tantamount to preferring the father's religious views on baptism over hers.

But the Court of Appeals disagreed.

"Mother is correct that courts `must maintain strict neutrality in cases involving religious disputes between divorced parents' and they may not `prefer the religious views of one parent over another unless one parent's religious beliefs and practices threaten the health and well-being of the child," Judge Alan E. Highers wrote. "However, simply put, this is not a religious dispute." Highers said the court is only being asked to determine whether the mother can be found in contempt for failing to follow the court order.

Nashville attorney Helen Rogers says the courts ought to stay away from these kinds of decisions.

"How would a court decide between baptizing a Presbyterian and a Methodist or a Catholic," Rogers asked. She wondered whether a court could step in and order the child of a Muslim and a Jew to attend a synagogue or a mosque. The problem, she said, is that the standard parenting plan in Tennessee orders many parents to mediation if they can't jointly decide on major decisions involving religious upbringing. If they can't agree even after mediation, she said, it ultimately means that a court has to decide.

"The bigger kind of global look at this is should religious decision-making be a private matter or should it be something that a court orders to begin with," Rogers asked.

However, Amundsen said the courts are only following state law, which says the courts have to consider religious upbringing when it comes to parental decision making.

Both attorneys said it's not unusual for parents to disagree on religious

Coffins deposited at Uniben former Bursar’s residence

THE simmering crisis over the vacant position of the Bursar of the University of Benin yesterday took a bizarre twist as two black coffins draped with red strip marks sandwiched by two earthen wares of sacrifice were deposited at the front gate of the official residence of the former Bursar of the University, Dr. May Ifeoma Nwoye .

According to Mrs. Nwoye, this incident is coming on the heels of a recent interview granted to media organizations by the former Bursar while responding to the deluge of allegations bothering on financial impropriety leveled against her by the Vice – Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Osayuki Oshiodin.

The former Bursar while speaking with journalists in Benin yesterday on the dumping of the mini coffins at her gate ,   said she was alerted by a neigbour at about 11 pm Thursday that some men who came in  two vehicles had deposited some luggage at her gate and had wanted to know if she was expecting same as  he, the neigbour suspected their movements to be very unusual.

According to her, “I then came out to see things for myself only to behold about three black mini- coffins at my front gate.”

Following due process and the normal procedures, I then called the University Chief Security Officer and he was blabbing some incoherent words which I could not understand and the telephone them went off. I called again and the telephone was dead”.

“I then called the Police and they came to see things for themselves and left. While still outside, a security patrol jeep came light grey in colour came and I was happy that at last there was security. But they told me that they were going to the borehole to fetch some water and when we turned to get into the house, the vehicle made a U-turn and in jiffy, the occupants alighted and took away the third mini-coffin and speed off and left two other coffins behind”.

“As I speak to you now neither the University Chief Security Officer nor any officer of the administration has come to see what happened”.

Mrs. Nwoye disclosed that since the issue of who becomes the next Bursar of the institution came up and had indicted her interest to be retained, she had been receiving anonymous telephones calls from different groups and persons threatening to deal with her if she does not forget her ambition to be re-appointed for a second term as the Bursar of the University,

Besides, she claimed that before the current incident, her security personnel have been withdrawn by the University authorities and appealed to the Commissioner of Police, Edo State to save and protect  her life

Justin Bieber Could Face Legal Action Over Twitter Prank

Justin Bieber's ** prank-loving ways will be celebrated this week on MTV's "Punk'd," but one recent stunt was not so well received by two Texas residents.

The teen phenom tweeted out a random phone number to his 19 million followers earlier this month with the caption "Call me right now," but left off a final digit. According to 3m360], droves of teenage fans began guessing the missing number, leading to more than 1,000 phone calls to an older woman named Dilcie and a man named Kent.

The tweet has since been deleted, but the duo has teamed up with a lawyer to threaten legal action against the 18-year-old. According to the site, the legal team suggests that Bieber offer an apology in addition to concert tickets for Dilcie's grandchildren, an endorsement of Kent's current online project and money for any out of pocket expenses.

A representative for Bieber did not immediately return The Hollywood Reporter's [Link] request for comment.

Leader Of Female Robbery Gang Pleads For Leniency For Her Gang

Nneka Orji, the head of a female robbery gang arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Lagos has confessed that she and her girls derived joy from torturing their male victims because they were once victims of robbery attacks perpetrated by guys.

Speaking on their mode of operation, the lady who hails from Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State, said: "I had been a victim of the crime for which we were arrested. I was tortured and nearly raped. But for the leg kick I gave to one of the criminals who attempted to rape me after the gang had duped me of my life savings, I would have been raped.

"If I mention the amount, you would not believe me. I have fallen victim to many wicked men. Some who said they wanted to marry me later became gold diggers and abandoned me after milking me dry. These wicked acts made me to hate men, especially the criminally-minded ones.

"I am not an armed robber because we did not operate with gun. Ours was more of brain works. We obtained by false pretence, otherwise called 419," 27-year-old Nneka said.

"However, God gave me a reliable fiancé. His name is Mr. Okey Holland from Nnewi. He travelled to Holand on a business trip and we hope to do our traditional marriage and a society wedding the moment he returns from Holland.

"For now, I reside with my uncle, one Mr. Ikechukwu Ndu of No. 14, College Road, Ogba. He knows that I am into 419 business.

"I was arrested for armed robbery when we did not rob with arms. In fact, what we did was not armed robbery. It was a common 419 deal. Why it looked like armed robbery was that our victim, a lady, jumped out of our operational vehicle, shouting ole! ole!! (robber! robber!!), which attracted an irate mob and the police at Alausa (Lagos). We were arrested and handed over to SARS.

"The officer in charge of SARS, SP Abba Kyari, even instructed the investigating police officer, Coporal Ediga Augustine, not to put us in confirmed armed robbery cell until he had finished the investigation. Our business is to defraud people. We are not armed robbers."

Asked what role he played in the gang, she said: "My role is very clear. I played the role of a catcher. I speak the word to the victim and if it catches him or her, others will start working on him or her.

"For instance, if a victim enters our cab, my role is to open up a discussion by speaking the word, like telling him or her that we had dollars in the vehicle or that a foreigner or an Alhaji wanted his dog to sleep with me but I ended stealing plenty of dollars from him before I escaped. I would tell the passenger that the problem was how to change it or where to take it to.

"If the passenger is foolish and expressed interest, we would start working on him or her. But if he or she did not show interest, we would drop him. I was also a victim before I joined them."

Asked how they were able to torture men without guns, she said they used to push stubborn men out of their vehicle while in motion, making them to sustain serious injuries.

"At times, we would pull their manhood with our hands until they felt serious pains and made forced promise to the gang not to involve the police," she added.

According to an insider in SARS office in Lagos, Nneka and her four other accomplices will be charged to court soon for robbery. But Nneka is begging them not to do so, she's insisting that they are "common criminals" and should be treated and tried as such.

18-Year-Old Ukranian Girl Who Posted A Video Describing How 3 Men Gang-Raped Her Dies

The poor Ukrainian teen who was gang-raped, dumped in a ditch and set on fire has died days after she posted a tragic online video revealing her ordeal.

Oksana Makar bravely told from her hospital bed how she was raped, strangled and burned by three men in a savage attack which stripped off 55 per cent of her skin.

Her harrowing hospital video, filmed by her mother, emerged after medics had been forced to amputate one of her arms and both her feet in a battle to keep her alive.

But after a two-week fight for life, health officials in Donetsk said Oksana, 18, died today of severe burns and damage to her lungs.

The rape attack on Oksana shocked Ukraine with its cruelty, and also caused nationwide protests against corruption after police initially released two of the suspects who had powerful connections in the region.

In the 1:19 minute video clip which emerged earlier this month, Oksana looks distraught as her mother, Tetyana Surovitska, urges her to describe her horrific ordeal by saying 'a couple of words to Ukraine'.

She starts to describe the attack, but then breaks off looking visibly upset and says she can't.

The fire stripped off 55 per cent of her skin and surgeons had to amputate one of her arms and both her feet as they battled to keep her alive - her bandaged shoulder can be seen on her right side.

When questioned as to what punishment her attackers should receive after the March 9 attack, the teen replies their testicles should be cut off and fed to dogs.

Two of the suspects were Maxim Prisyjnikov, 23, the son of the regional administrator, and Artyon Pogosyan, 21, the son of the regional prosecutor, according to the Hurriyet Daily News.

When her mother asks her how she will survive, the blonde-headed young woman says: 'How I will live, I will live. That's all.'

Her mother has been criticised for posting the video online with many users suggesting it was insensitive to her daughter asking her to recount her harrowing experience publicly when 'she is clearly distraught and in pain.'

Miss Makar starts to describe the attack, but then breaks off looking visibly upset and says she can't.

Ms Surovitska has already been accused of spending fundraising money for her daughter's care on herself, as well as charging reporters for interviews.

'Look at me. Do I look like a rich woman?' she said in an interview with a Ukrainian website, Gazeta.ua.

The shocking case sparked mass protests across Ukraine and naked campaigners led protests over the sloppy nature of the police investigation and the perceived leniency with which the suspects have been treated.

Some Members of Parliament have called for Ukraine to bring in the death penalty for the accused, with one even suggesting the alleged rapists be castrated.

The 18-year-old claims she was invited by Prisyjnikov and Pogosyan to their friend Yevgeniy Krasnoshek's apartment, where she was allegedly raped.

They tried to strangle her to death before wrapping her in a sheet, dumping her in a pit at a construction site and setting her alight, it was alleged in the Kyiv Post.

Miss Makar was found barely alive the following day by a man who heard her moaning. After undergoing surgery, she was finally able to recount her ordeal to police.

She regained consciousness on Friday, but doctors induced a coma and moved her from a hospital in Mykolayiv to a burn treatment center in Donetsk.

In an interview with Gazeta.ua after the attack, she said: 'I could not feel my body. At first, I was screaming for help.

'But there was nobody there, I began to pray. I thought I had died. I remember it all as if in a fog.'

The three suspects were arrested, but two of them were released later that day due to lack of evidence, according to the Mykolayiv prosecutor's office.

Prosecutors say they did not question Miss Makar because she was not conscious despite her mother insisting she was able to speak.

But anger erupted across the country when a chief police officer confirmed two of the suspects were sons of former government officials, one of whom apparently appeared in a YouTube video calmly describing the attack.

Women's rights group Femen staged a topless protest in front of the general prosecutors office in the capital, Kyiv, chanting 'Death to the sadists!' and 'Execute the b****s!'

Kanye West, Lil Wayne Songs Named in EMI Suit Against Def Jam Rapstar

The company behind the video game Def Jam Rapstar is being sued by publishing house EMI for failing to clear songs that are featured in the game, including tunes by Kanye West, DMX and Lil Wayne, among others.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the various subsidiaries of EMI filed the lawsuit in New York federal court last week and is alleging substantial damages incurred by the video game creators' inability to obtain musical rights required for the songs to be featured on the game.Def Jam Rapstar was produced by 4mm Games and Terminal Reality, both co-defendants in the lawsuit.

The suit also says EMI notified the game makers about its rights to account for royalties, but the demands were ignored. The complaint includes a listing of compositions and sound recordings that were used in the game, including DJ Khaled's "I'm So Hood," which EMI claims 10 percent ownership, MIMS' "This Is Why I'm Hot," a song with 16 writers which EMI claims 16 percent ownership, and Lil Wayne's "Got Money," which EMI claims 30 percent ownership.

EMI also says some of its sound recordings were infringed in the game, like Daft Punk's "Harder Better Faster Stronger," which was sampled by Kanye West on the song "Stronger."

In total, the suit lists 54 songs that were infringed, and now the label wants statutory damages in the amount of $150,000 for each of those infringements, not to mention other potential damages for violations of EMI's other rights

T-Pain **'s way to the top wasn't easy. The Tallahassee, FL singer-songwriter, producer and rapper had to prove naysayers wrong since childhood.

"I wasn't treated that well in school by the kids. I used to get picked on a whole lot. Fat, chubby, tubby, they would make me try to do pushups," T-Pain says on the 'Behind the Music' episode. "Coming from somewhere where nobody liked you, nobody talked to you and now everybody wants to like you and talk to you… I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't let anybody or anything hold me back."

T-Pain kept his promise. In 2007, T-Pain claimed four of Billboard's top singles, most notably a guest spot on Kanye West **'s "Good Life." 'Ye's hit earned T-Pain his first Grammy for Best Rap Song.

With another Hot 100 hit, 2011's "5 O'Clock," T-Pain isn't slowing down. He's even launched his own charity, "If I Could Change the World," and will host a celebratory benefit concert on March 31.

"You gotta learn how to fly. You're either gonna hit the ground or you're gonna hit the sky and I chose to hit the sky," he says. "I'm just taking a ride. Whatever's brought my way. Whatever stops we make, it can only get better."

Ace Hood Talks Dropping Starvation Mixtape Tomorrow

There are dozens of platinum plaques hanging in the We The Best Studios in Miami, but rest assured DJ Khaled and Ace Hood are suffering from hunger pains. Both are hard at work on new projects. Khaled, as visible in his boastful promo that dropped yesterday (March 28), is releasing (link) his Kiss The Ring LP in the next few months and on Friday (March 30), Ace is releasing his second mixtape in less than three months, Starvation.

"My ritual is if I ain't on the road, I'm recording man," Ace revealed recently in his team's lair. "Every time I'm home I spend all my time recording. Of course [I spend time] being with my little girl. But [work] is it's based upon. I do the road and I come home and record. But I always be writing on the road. Nothing is never enough for me. I just dropped a mixtape a month and a half ago, it's not enough for me. I'm starving.Starvation ain't enough for me. Even when I dropStarvation I'm coming withBody Bags, something where I'm killing instrumentals. It's never enough. I'm at that point in my life where I'm murdering everything. Anything I come across, I'm out here getting it."
In advance of his mixtape, Hood has already dropped the songs "Hallucinations" and "Different People" featuring The Game.

"I'm back to my old saying, 'I'm grinding everyday like I ain't got a deal,'" Ace said. "You would think I didn't have a hit record. You would think I didn't have a couple of cars and a house the way that I grind. That's what keeps me focused.

Rick Ross Wins Court Case Over Freeway Ricky Ross

Rick Ross has a great reason to bellow his "hunngh" grunt now. That's because he's going to be able to keep his name.

3m360 reported that on Thursday (March 29), a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge dismissed a suit filed by former drug dealer "Freeway" Rick Ross, who tried to claim ownership of the name. "Freeway" Rick Ross was trying to take sole ownership of the name and stop the Bawse from using it, but that didn't work.

Thursday's court ruling signals a big victory for Ricky Rozay, who had to give a deposition in a Miami court back in early February on why he should own the trademark of the moniker Rick Ross.

This comes after "Freeway" Rick Ross filed a $10 million lawsuit against the rapper in May 2010, accusing him of profiting off of his name illegally. However, a judge ruled that "Freeway" couldn't sue because of his criminal rap sheet and that case was subsequently dismissed in Federal Court in November 2010.

"Freeway" Rick later appealed the decision in a state court, dragging out the case until Thursday's decision.

Currently on a European tour, Rozay didn't immediately acknowledge Thursday's victorious court ruling via his Twitter account. However, Ross has been enjoying a solid year thus far.

After suffering two separate seizures last October, the Bawse started this year off on a solid start with the release of his Rich Forever mixtape, which featured the likes of Nas, Diddy, 2 Chainz and his MMG family Meek Mill and Wale.

He's kept his sound bubbling via guest appearances, ranging from the likes of Nicki Minaj to Game.
