Petey Pablo Reported To Prison In January For Three-Year Sentence


Petey Pablo may have started his year off on a bad note, but he did so with little fanfare.
PPablo, who was arrested trying to smuggle a gun through an airport, began his three-year sentence on January 4 of this year by turning himself in to a medium security federal correction institution in West Virginia, reports TMZ.
The court recommended that the rapper receive "intensive substance abuse treatment, vocational training and educational opportunities" during his prison time.
Pablo's scheduled release date is July 17, 2014.

Jim Jones Arrested In Connecticut Casino Brawl
(High rolla ent News) Last night, Jim Jones was involved in a fight that turned into a melee, resulting in his arrest and reportedly required the use of mace.
According to mmm360.blogspot.com, Jones was walking through the party hosted by Diddy at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, when an intoxicated patron began arguing with Jim Jones.
Jim Jones allegedly ignored the taunts, but when the guy hit Jim Jones in the face, the rapper fought back in self-defense.
Both sides then began to fight and it took five officers to calm the angry Harlem bred rapper, who was arrested and has since been bonded out.
The hotel, Jim Jones and the Connecticut State Police have not responded to the reports at the time of print

MI, Reveals 12 scoops about illegal music 2 mix tape

3m360 got chatting with the Chocolate City rapper who broke down the mixtape in detail.

So, right from the horse’s, here are 12 things you should know about his upcoming project…

1. It’s better than Illegal Music the first edition. It has more musical growth, it has more interesting samples, and it has better raps because I featured a lot of great rappers, a lot of great singers too.

2. People don’t know that I produce beats but I produced about 90 per cent of the mix tape on my own, and what is interesting is that on this project I switched from Sonar to Logic. (I know this is probably like boring geek stuff to most of you guys)

3. Controversial gist here (Laughs). So I wanted to do a song with Iceberg Slim on this project and I thought it would be cool to do a remix of ‘Deuces’ called ‘Truces‘, however I saw the Jimmy JATT freestyle and I wasn’t too happy about that. So yeah, that killed that idea.

4. On the song ‘Beg for it‘ featuring Matronomy and Funbi, I used two different samples. The shaker on it is from a Robin Thicke song, and the sample on the chorus is a Drake song.

5. I basically recorded the whole of Illegal Music 2 with the worst case of Writer’s Block I have ever been through. It took me months sometimes to finish a verse. For all artistes out there, you gotta learn to pace yourself because you can definitely overwork yourself.

6. At the end of Illegal Music 2, I had to bury my Behringer B2 Mic, which I had used almost throughout the whole of MI2 and the Illegal Music 2. Good bye Mic… I’ll miss you, sort of. Say hello everyone to the new mic on the block; My Rode mic.

7. While recording ‘superhuman‘ with HHP, he spoke of his friend who was seriously ill. A few weeks after returning to South Africa, he tweeted at me to tell me his friend had passed away. May his soul rest in peace.

8. Kid Konnect sent me like 20 beats for illegal music, and at the last moment, we decided to use all that music for a different project called ‘A Kid Called Abaga‘. Watch out for that. And shout out to Kid Konnect.. He is a real brother… Few of those left!

9. My favourite session of the lot was probably working with rap duo Show Dem Camp. We just had fun, chatted and laughed all day till the song was done. In other news, buy their album. It is truly a hip-hop classic.

10. There will be no ‘Choc Boy’ song. Jesse jags and Ice Prince were, and are both so busy, it’s hard for schedules to meet up. So to make up we are thinking of doing a whole Choc Boy album.

11. My fav sixteen (more like 32) bars of the mixtape are by this guy called Bogey. I don’t think anyone this year can have an ‘iller’ intro to a verse. He goes, ‘I love hiphop to death I am Romeo in a body bag‘. Whoa! He also says the line about eating clowns so they digesting (die jesting). Watch out for the guy.

12. I made this as an ode to hip-hop, with a focus to promote upcoming rap talent. It is probably the most selfless I have been musically. I wanted everyone to sound their best on it regardless of how it made me look. I often tell rappers ‘Come harder.. This is illegal music 2’. So as you listen, get to know a lot of the guys..

‘Game of Thrones’ Interviews Reveal Character Motivations & Season 2 Plot

Game of Thrones season two is coming – barely more than a month to go now – so that means the double-edged sword of GOT-related news and media (how does one avoid spoilers and endure the wait?) is in full-force.

Today, we have interviews from one new character, Xaro Xhoan Davos (played by Nonso Anozie), and two previously established characters, Peter “Littlefinger” Baelish (Aiden Gillen) and Sandor “The Hound” Clegane (Rory McCann), about their roles in the highly-anticipated upcoming season.-

On Xaro Xhoan Davos’ season two role, courtesy of Black Film, Anozie said:
“I play Xaro Xhoan Daxos and he’s an interesting character. He’s the prince of Qarth. Qarth is a new land which is further to the east of Dothraki, the host kingdom, where Daenerys was married to Khal Drogo. She’s moving on to see if she can find a way to build an army and move to take over her “rightful seat” in Westeros. She bumps into my character and a lot of new interesting things are going to happen. I can’t say legally say too much about it but it’s going to be eye-opening and exciting.”

On Littlefinger being a survivor and a strategist as opposed to an outright villain, courtesy of The University Observer, Gillen said:

“I’m actually trying to get out of playing villains now – maybe signing up for six seasons as Littlefinger goes against that, but I don’t see him as a villain, more a brilliant strategist and survivor in a cut-throat world. There’s some strong new characters (there always are with George R.R. Martin, and they’ll just keep coming) – Robert’s [Baratheon, former King of Westeros] brother Stannis being a very obvious one to note. We see Littlefinger branch out and go on some travels, too, and it’s nice to get out of the house. I have some dealings with Tyrion – he’s really dominating the scene in King’s Landing now…There’s always a lot going on and there’s no rush to pair everyone up with everyone. Having worked on ‘The Wire,’ I know the merits of playing the long game. It’s more interesting, not patronizing.”


On whether or not The Hound particularly likes King Joffrey, courtesy of Access Hollywood, Rory McCann said:
“Well, I don’t think The Hound likes Joffrey, but he’s doing his job looking after him. The power, as you can imagine, will be going to [Joffrey's] head and the real bully will be coming out, and it will be raising all sorts of memories for The Hound – the way that he was bullied. And you’ll be seeing the relationship between Sansa and Joffrey deteriorate – seeing the bullying that’s going on and again, The Hound will be able to link that to his childhood as well.”


On The Hound’s growing relationship with Sansa Stark, McCann said:

“He’s going to be in conflict, I think. I think he wants to look after Sansa and totally understands her position, but he’s also in a position [of] – if he steps in, he is risking his life… I think in the first season you can see with Sandor and Sansa, that there’s a frustration with Sandor trying to get through to Sansa that it’s not all fairytale and true knights and there’s so much badness in the world. But, by the end of the first season, obviously she’s seen… her father having his head cut off. So she’s maybe seen the light now, but I think there’s still a frustration of trying to [get her to] see the reality of the whole situation. It’s giving advice to Sansa for survival, basically.”

We saw a little bit of this angle in the Game of Thrones season one finale when Sansa very blatantly considered murdering Joffrey by pushing him to his death – and thus ensuring her own death. The Hound stopped her, of course, and there was seemingly a look of empathy on his face.

Lil Wayne Denies Passing Out Drunk Before 2009 Bahama Concert


Lil Wayne claims that he did not pass out drunk before a 2009 Bahama concert, reports 3m360. According to a lawsuit, the rapper passing out was the reason the show was canceled.
Wayne was sued in 2009 by a promotion company called Red City Entertainment, which claimed it gave Weezy $432,000 in advance for the concert.
When the rapper didn't arrive for the show, the promotion company claims police showed up to the Cash Money emcee's hotel room, where he was unconscious.
"At no point [that night] did I become so intoxicated that I passed out on a bed in my suit, or anywhere else," responds Wayne in the legal documents

Tyga's Album's First Week at Retail Disrupted by Uncleared MLK Sample

Tyga ** trumpeted Tuesday's release date for his long-awaited Young Money/Universal debut, "Careless World," for weeks. The album's title has come to mean more than the MC probably intended: While the LP did officially drop on that date, an uncleared sample meant that it didn't exactly drop everywhere.

Sources told 3m360 that the label had shipped approximately 150,000 copies of the album before last Thursday, when it sent a recall notice to retailers because the sample -- a portion of a Martin Luther King Jr. speech used in the album's title track -- had not been cleared.
"They basically recalled [the albums]," Tyga told DJ Greg Street in a V-103 interview. "I'm looking at my Twitter and fans were hitting me up all day, posting pictures. They have them, and they have some in stores but then they got a piece of paper next to them [saying] 'Recall: Can't sell.' My fans were going crazy, like 'I got it in my hands, I'm thinking about just stealing it but I want to buy it, though.' "
Most retailers abided by the recall but, apparently due to the holiday weekend, not every outlet got the message. Larger outlets like Target and Best Buy did not sell the album but some independent retailers and individual outlets within some chains put out the album for sale on its Tuesday release date, a source said. Several hundred units were sold by those outlets, the source said.

Estelle and Kim have been in the studio, lacing new albums. Estelle, currently on the BET Music Matters Tour alongside R&B peers Elle Varner **, Stacy Barthe, and Luke James **, is releasing her third studio album, "All of Me," next Tuesday (Feb. 28). The album's first single, "Thank You," moved up three slots this week on the R&B/HIp-Hop Songs chart, from No. 25 to 22.
Lil' Kim recently released auto-tuned friendly, "If You Love Me," on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14), off her upcoming untitled album.

Davido on sex rampage in Ghana

Nigeria’s newest pop sensation Davido might have bitten off more than he can chew when he hooked up with an undergraduate on a trip to Ghana yesterday.
Barely 24 hours after arrived in Ghana, there’s been a leak; with very private pictures of him in bed with an undergraduate emerging on Blackberry Messenger and Twitter.
It’s gone viral already, just like it was with the Wande Coal nude photo leak.  Just this morning, 19 year old Davido trended worldwide on Twitter; with thousands commenting on the pictures showing him in bed with a lady believed to be 18-year-old undergraduate Sonia Jumbo. Different images show the lady fondling and kissing him while he was asleep. In one, she’s seen licking his tattoo.
Sources say Sonia, a Port-Harcourt based Nigerian currently studying in Ghana, had used the images as display pictures on her Blackberry Messenger, leading to some of her contacts copying them and sharing them on social networking sites, causing a major frenzy.
Davido had travelled to Ghana along with his manager Asa Asika and crew member Sinarambo to perform at the Miss ISA 2012 beauty pageant, put together by the International Students Association of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Ray J, 31, claims “KK” pursued him and slept with him while she was still married to her first husband, music producer Damon Thomas. Kardashian has previously denied cheating on Damon, who she divorced after four years in 2004.

Cheating allegations certainly don’t put Kim in the best light. Especially considering her other ex-husband, Kris Humphries, supposedly also has juicy details about Kim to share. Details that she appears desperate to hide. Before her wedding she was some kind of American sweetheart. Maybe not the woman you wanted to be, but the woman you wanted to be friends with. She came out of nowhere and became famous for being famous. She made millions of dollars on endorsements, appearances and magazine covers. Weren’t we all a little jealous of the fact that she made a career of being herself?
But her now infamous 72 wedding last fall changed all that. Suddenly, everyone saw through her little act and started to think that her life choice were much more calculated than they realized. Who makes millions of dollars on a wedding and then gets divorced after 72 days? Someone with a motive.
Suddenly her legions of fans didn’t seem so loyal. People criticized her more openly and turned Kris Humphries into the victim. While I’ve never been inside a Kardashian PR meeting, I doubt this was the plan.

Heidi & Seal Are Done

After announcing the split, Seal mentioned that nothing is impossible and that a reunion with wifey Heidi Klum was could technically happen. And even though they jussst stopped wearing their wedding rings—leaving a lot of people thinking that it was for sure over—we still had our fingers crossed. But now we’ve got one more person saying that they’re probs kaput.
He’s one of our favorite guys from “America’s Next Top Model” who also happens to be a good friend of Heidi’s. Jay Manuel thinks Heidi and Seal are done, according to the HollywoodLife, and here’s why:
“In knowing Heidi I would tell you that this would have been the last resort. She would have done anything to secure that relationship, she is a very genuine person. I would think if you’re going public with something like that and you’re in the public eye, it’s probably the final straw.”Boo.
I guess he would know better than the “sources” and “insiders” providing most of the information. I’m a little surprised he shared so much. Being such a good friend of Heidi’s, you’d think he’d see her being so quiet about it and do the same.
BUT on the other hand, it always helps when someone comes forward to clear up the rumors. So kudos for Jay.
Of course we didn’t want to see this marriage end, but divorce doesn’t always have to be an awful, nightmarish experience. Hopefully Seal and Heidi really are doing as well as he claims.


Seal And Heidi Klum Are Hardly Speaking

It’s the divorce that has everyone scratching their heads and wondering wtf happened, but we can only hope that the split is going as smoothly as Seal claims it is.Both former lovebirds just recently stopped wearing their wedding rings, leading us to believe that any chances of a reconciliation are officially dunzo. JustJared quotes a source telling People, “They had both been wearing their wedding rings and had mutually thought they might be able to work it out. But it doesn’t look like it’s going that way.”
And if that isn’t enough to convince you that the marriage is kaput, there’s always the fact that this source adds that Seal and Heidi Klum are hardly speaking. “They have had very little contact and Heidi wants to keep it this way. She feels less stressed out now and feels it’s best to be away from Seal, so she doesn’t get confused about her feelings. She is moving forward with the divorce.”
Well, sometimes that helps. If you’re around the person too much, you can start having second thoughts and may end up making the decision that isn’t best for you in the long run. If this is what she needs to keep her head a little clearer, then cool beans.

Where’s the line between trying hard and playing human fondue with a blue paint can? Actually, it doesn’t matter because superstar Nicki Minaj parachuted over that line in her photoshoot in the March issue of Vogue. The human Pinterest board is known for her style as much as her music and it seems like she’s entering the dangerous Lady Gaga territory where she’s going to get to the point where she just can’t outdo herself.
For the past few years Lady Gaga’s paraded one ridiculous outfit/costume in front of us after another. A Kermit dress, a meat dress, an egg cage. She’s done it all. Hence why this year she slipped past the Grammy red carpets and sat calmly with some kind of mesh bag over her head. While some might claim her move was one of maturity, I’m certain that it was one of shame. The great Lady Gaga was out of ideas. At this point a shocking outfit for her would consist of Gap jeans and a white t-shirt — and if she wore that, no one would recognize her.
I now fear that’s where Nicki Minaj is headed. Her outfits have gone way beyond standard red carpet chic and now require the use of 3D glasses and/or acid. And this latest photoshoot for Vogue just proves my point. She’s blue.
To me that says that either she had intimate sex with a smurf or she’s also running low on shocking costume ideas.
Or, I suppose the third option for this get-up is that she’s doing some sort of avant-garde audition for Avatar. If so, we can only hope James Cameron is an avid Vogue reader.

Chris Brown Accused Robbery In Fan Cell Phone Theft

Chris Brown could be in hot water again if a Florida woman's claims that he stole her cell phone prove true.
According to an incident report, Brown is accused of "robbery by sudden snatching" at the Miami Beach nightclub Cameo early Sunday morning.
The alleged victim, Christal Spann, 24, told police that after spotting Brown and rapper Tyga leaving the club through a side door, she and her friends followed the artists onto the street. Brown got into a black Bentley as Spann took out her cell phone and snapped a photo of the singer while he sat in his car. "At this time [Spann] stated that [Brown] reached through his car window snatched her phone from her hands and said, 'B---h you ain't going to put that on no website.'" He then allegedly took the iPhone 4S, rolled up his car window and drove off.
No arrests have been made and no warrants have been issued so far in the case, but 3m360 reported that the incident is under investigation. According to E! Online, the Florida State Attorney's Office is preparing a warrant for Brown's arrest on suspicion of "robbery by sudden snatching."
Though the often tempestuous singer
 got a positive probation report just days before his Grammy win and performances
 in connection with his guilty plea to felony assault on former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, he could be facing some legal troubles as a result of the Miami episode. On February 9 a Los Angeles judge ordered Brown to continue reporting to a probation officer
 in his home state of Virginia as part of his five-year probation sentence in the Rihanna assault.


Because he still must obey all laws while on probation, 3m360 reported that an arrest in the alleged Miami phone snatching could land him behind bars for a probation violation. The site claimed that the district attorney who prosecuted Brown in the Rihanna case is keeping an eye on things and if the L.A. County Probation Department recommends that action should be taken Brown could have his probation revoked and be sentenced to several years in prison.
A spokesperson for Brown could not be reached for comment at press time.

Diddy to Launch Revolt, a New Music Network, Through Comcast

Comcast, the nation's largest cable provider with more than 22 million subscribers, is teaming up with Sean " Diddy **" Combs to distribute his own network. Comcast will also distribute networks owned NBA superstar Magic Johnson, and Hollywood director Robert Rodriguez. The announcement came Tuesday (Feb. 21) from David L. Cohen, executive vp of Comcast Corporation.
Combs will partner with MTV veteran Andy Schuon on Revolt, which will showcase music and pop culture programming including music videos, live performances, news and interviews with a robust social media component. The network has targeted to launch in 2013.
Revolt, said Combs, "is the first channel created entirely from the ground up in this new era of social media. We're building this platform for artists to reach an extraordinary number of people in a completely different way. Revolt will be live, like all great moments in television history."

'Bully' Trailer and Controversy: Weinstein Co. to Battle MPAA (Again!) Over "R" Rating

The trailer for the upcoming documentary Bully (aka The Bully Project) has arrived online, and with it comes yet another ratings controversy for The Weinstein Co. The film, which takes a long, hard (and sometimes foul-mouthed) look at the bullying problem in America, was just slapped with an "R" rating for "some language," prompting the Weinstein boys to once again go after the MPAA, appeal their decision, and stand up for their film.
You'll remember not long ago the Weinstein's had to do the same thing when Blue Valentine was slapped with an "NC-17" rating, appealing the decision and successfully getting it changed to an "R." Now they'll be going at it again, though this time it's a bit different because they want to get an "R" changed to a "PG-13" in the hopes more kids will have access to it and subsequently learn from it.
"I have great respect for the work Chairman Joan Graves and the rest of the MPAA governing body do," Harvey Weinstein said. "I have been compelled by the filmmakers and the children to fight for an exception so we can change this R rating brought on by some bad language. As a father of four, I worry every day about bullying; it's a serious and ever-present concern for me and my family. I want every child, parent, and educator in America to see 'Bully', so it is imperative for us to gain a PG-13 rating. It's better that children see bad language than bad behavior, so my wish is that the MPAA considers the importance of this matter as we make this appeal."
a problem that's so widespread and out of control across America, it's definitely disappointing to see the MPAA restrict the audience for this film because of "some language." Question is: How necessary is the language to the film? When The Weinstein Co. bleeped out a string of F-bombs and re-released The King's Speech under a PG-13 rating in order to capitalize on its Oscar buzz, folks criticized the move because the cursing was pretty essential to the plot and to the main character's arc. The editing hurt the film overall.
But in this case, if it's just a bunch of kids cursing at each other (we don't know; we're speculating), then is that really necessary? Could those curse words be bleeped out and sacrificed in order to get the rating down so more kids can see it? That's what we want to know. But what do you think?

Nigerian Idol Honours Whitney Houston as A.Y.O And Ibinabo Exit

It was a night of brilliant music and amazing performances as Nigerian Idol joined the global music industry in paying tribute to the late pop legend, Whitney Houston.
The finalists rendered the late singer’s popular songs like ‘I wanna dance with somebody’ and ‘saving all my love’ while judges including guest judge Lara George nodded in approval.
Also one of the Judges Yinka Davies, co-host Tiwa Savage and music director Kehinde Dacosta teamed up to bring the show to a final end with Whitney’s ‘Greatest Love of All’.
It was however not all rosy as the number of contestants was also cut down to 10, with A.Y.O and Ibinabo’s elimination.
In April, a new winner will be announced at a grand gala show carting home a prize worth $100,000 and an SUV.

Asa Battles Questionmark Over Alleged Copyright Infringement

Nigerian international singer Asa has threatened take legal action against her former record label Questionmark Entertainment for allegedly infringing on the singer’s trademark by ‘preparing to go into commercial production of a purported Asa music production’.
A press statement released by Asa’s reps, Red Nigeria, alleges that Questionmark, in partnership with a marketing-distribution company MacKings Limited have commissioned the production of a ‘purported Asa music production titled ‘Down On Me’’.
The production according to the RED Nigeria was commissioned to a CD factory Nigerian Chronotech Limited. Chornotech however contacted Asa’s management to confirm the authenticity of this production.
‘We have informed our lawyers and appropriate action will be taken against any individual, body or corporate entity associated with this’, the statement further stressed.
Questionmark did not immediately offer comments when contacted. A rep assured us they will soon release a statement concerning the matter.
Asa’s famed battle with Questionmark owned by Kevin Luciano-Gabriel dates as far back as 2006 when the singer walked out of her production deal, alleging, amongst many other things, that the label was trying to sign her on to a foreign label without her consent, and insisting that the circumstances surrounding her deal with Questionmark were suspect ab initio.
After much highly publicised legal tussles between her and the label, she eventually walked out of the deal and released her self-titled debut album in 2006.
Asa is currently also in court with a Lagos-based publication.
