Prince Harry Brings Meghan Markle to Buckingham Palace to Have Tea With Queen Elizabeth II

It seems like every time we turn around, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are hitting another major milestone in their relationship. They've made their public debut as a couple, Harry charmed Meghan's mom, Meghan met Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and there are rumors that they're already secretly engaged. While every new thing has excited us so far, we're particularly jazzed about the latest development in their romance: Meghan had tea with the queen!

Prince Harry reportedly brought his girlfriend of more than a year to Buckingham Palace for an hour-long, private tea party on Oct. 12. Later that evening, he was all smiles while accepting a posthumous award on behalf of his mother, Princess Diana, for her HIV/AIDS activism at the Attitude magazine awards.

Candela: The Italian town paying people to move there

candela-ghost-town---houses---Franceso-Pio-Delvecchio--Comune-Candela-.
The mayor of Italian town Candela has come up with a practical solution to its dwindling population number -- paying people to become residents.
Nicola Gatta wants the small medieval town in Puglia to shine like it did in the 1990s, when more than 8,000 people lived here. Today, there are just 2,700 residents.
So, to recover the town's lost grandeur, mayor Nicola Gatta is offering up to 2,000 euros ($2,350) to encourage people to relocate.
"I work each day with passion and commitment to bring Candela back to its ancient splendor," says Gatta. "Up until the 1960s, travelers called it 'Nap'licchie' (Little Naples), for it streets full of wayfarers, tourists, merchants and screaming vendors."
These days the Neapolitan buzz has been replaced by the silence of the surrounding green hills and pristine forests.

'Smirking' oligarch's daughter who killed five in car horror 'was racing another driver at almost double speed limit'

An oligarch's daughter who killed five people and injured a dozen more in a horror car incident had allegedly been racing another driver.

Alyona Zaitseva, a 20-year-old millionaire's daughter "jumped a red light and rammed into a crowd" at a pedestrian crossing, say police.

A new video suggests she could have been racing another car moments before colliding with a vehicle and ramming into helpless pedestrians waiting at a crossing in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

The CCTV shows two cars side by side travelling down a busy road with lots of traffic.

From the footage, it looks like the cars are moving faster than the rest of the vehicles on the street.

The video also appears to capture the moment two cars collide at a bend.

It was also revealed today that Zaitseva had been fined four times previously for breaking the speed limit.

There was carnage of the streets after her speeding Lexus struck a VW Touareg before completely overturning and landing on its wheels and then crashing into a group waiting to cross the road.

U.S. diplomat warns to be 'prepared for the worst' right after N. Korean official reportedly shuts down diplomacy

Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan told reporters on Tuesday that while the State Department remained focused on quelling tensions with North Korea through diplomatic channels, that the nation and world must remain prepared for the possibility that those efforts will fail.

"We must, however, with our allies in Japan and South Korea and elsewhere, be prepared for the worst should diplomacy fail,” Sullivan said, according to the Associated Press.

The comments come fresh off a report from CNN claiming a North Korean official said that the country is no longer interested in diplomacy until it develops the capabilities to build a long-range (ICBM) capable of hitting the East coast of the United States.
