Three tonnes of cocaine worth £512million, the UK’s biggest class A drugs haul , were found on a boat seized in the North Sea.
The captain and first officer of tugboat MV Hamal were yesterday found guilty of drug trafficking.
It had left Turkey for Guyana in South America where drugs were loaded.
In April 2015, after a tip by French authorities, Royal Navy and Border Force vessels boarded the Hamal 100 miles off Aberdeen.
In port it took three days to find all the drugs.

The owner of the convenience store where Alton Sterling was killed is suing the police

The convenience-store owner who witnessed the fatal police shooting of Alton Sterling last week is alleging in a lawsuit that Baton Rouge police officers illegally took surveillance footage from his store.
Abdullah Muflahi, who owns the Triple S Food Mart where Sterling was shot, alleges that police also confiscated his cellphone and detained him in a police car for four hours, according to The Daily Beast.
Muflahi claims in the lawsuit that, after the shooting, officers Howie Lake and Blane Salamoni had two other police officers remove the "entire store security system" despite Muflahi's demands to see a search warrant.

3 people dead, 1 injured after shooting at Michigan courthouse

Three people have been shot and killed after a shooting at the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph, Michigan, on Monday, Berrien County Sheriff Paul Baileyconfirmed at a news conference.
Two court bailiffs and the shooting suspect were killed, Bailey said. A deputy sheriff was also shot but is being treated and is in stable condition at a nearby hospital.
Several other people were injured.
The shooting occurred at 2:25 p.m. local time.
A Berrien County commissioner told ABC57 reporter Vahid Sadrzadeh that the shooter was a man on his way to jail who took a gun off an officer and began shooting.

LIL WAYNE HOSPITALIZED AGAIN FOR SEIZURE

Lil Wayne has suffered yet another seizure.

After two emergency landings last month due to similar health scares, the Young Money boss was hospitalized last week after a severe seizure, according to TMZ.

The latest episode was so serious that Weezy was forced to cancel his TAO Nightclub performance in Las Vegas at a pre-UFC 200 bash. The seizure struck as he was gearing up to hit the stage.

According to the report, Wayne believes this is a medication issue as doctors continue figuring out his dosage balance.

Tunechi, who’s revealed struggles with epilepsy in the past, was taken to the ICU and released the following morning. He is now recuperating in Miami.

The ownership of the UFC is reportedly changing hands.
TMZ Sports first reported WME/IMG bought the company for about $4 billion, and WME/IMG confirmed its purchase Monday morning, per ESPN.com's Darren Rovell:
According to the New York TimesMichael J. de la Merced, WME/IMG will be the main investor along with private equity firms Silver Lake and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and an investment firm belonging to Michael S. Dell.
TMZ reported UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta will step down from his post and retain a minority stake, while Dana White will stay on as president.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was arrested Sunday in East Lansing, Michigan, after allegedly committing an assault.
Brendan F. Quinn of MLive.com first reported the news. Police later confirmed the arrest, per Evan Sernoffsky of the San Francisco ChronicleZach Frydenlund of Complex spoke to police about the arrest, saying the incident involved a male victim, but no injuries were suffered.
The altercation was recorded at 2:28 a.m. local time, according toDiamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, who added that Green was released on $200 cash bond. Green is scheduled for arraignment on July 20, per SportsCenter.
