Grammy season is officially underway. And par the course, the internet is already abuzz with congratulatory praises and conspiracy theories in equal parts. We’ll hold off on entertaining illuminati fodder until February runs its course. Until then, your time and brain power are better served merely perusing the massive list of nominations for this year’s ceremony, which is led by Kendrick Lamar with a whopping 11 nominations, including “Album Of The Year,” “Song Of The Year,” “Best Rap Performance” and twice for”Best Rap Song;” one for his credit on Kanye‘s turn-up-til-you-cant-no-more anthem “All Day” and one for the year’s only true rival in that department, “Alright.” Kendrick even manages to grab noms for a pair of features onTaylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” and Flying Lotus‘ “Never Catch Me,” respectively, making this year the one for true and total retribution after two consecutive years of snubbery.

Woman aged 91 suffocated during sex game with married neighbour, 49

A 91-year-old woman is believed to have suffocated during a sex game with a 49-year-old neighbour.

The OAP was found on her bed naked from her waist down next to a sex toy in Aveiro, 50 miles south of Porto, Portugal.

President Barack Obama delivered a major Oval Office address Sunday night, seeking to reassure the nation about threats facing the US days after the deadliest terrorist assault on US soil since September 11, 2001.

In Sunday's speech — Obama's third from the Oval Office andsecond official Sunday-night primetime address — the president laid out his strategy for confronting the evolving nature of foreign and homegrown terrorist threats, including plots inspired by the terrorist group the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL.

Cinema bursts into flames forcing hundreds to flee in terror while watching films

Flames leapt into the sky when a sign outside a packed cinema exploded into flames.

Crowds gathered in Birmingham’s ‘golden mile’ as hundreds were evacuated from the Cineworld cinema and nearby Nando’s restaurant.

The fire which was located above the eaterie, took hold shortly before 6pm on Sunday.

Flames appeared to be spreading from a sign on the side of the building on Bishopsgate Street.

Heavy floods ravaged Chennai in India

Chennai, a city of 4.6 million people on India's southeast coast, is reeling from some of the heaviest and deadliest rains in decades.

Now, as the floodwaters appear to recede, a massive relief effort is under way with participation by celebrities such as Anil Srinivasan, a classical pianist, and unsung people who just want to help.

"This is something of a megadestruction movie," said Srinivasan, who lives in the city's suburb of Nungambakkam. "It's bizarre and unreal."

Since October, flooding killed at least 272 people in the region, according to the National Disaster Response Force. About 28,000 people had to be rescued. The flooding knocked out government services, left people stranded and made small boats a commonplace sight in city streets.
