What Mark Zuckerberg can learn from Elon Musk about changing the world

Mark Zuckerberg
Two billionaire events happened last week Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan said they'd give away most of their wealth, and Elon Musk renewed his call for a carbon tax.
Both Zuckerberg and Musk want to change the world. Some have argued that by creating Facebook, Zuckerberg already has. I might argue that Musk hasn't. Yet.
But that doesn't mean he won't ultimately change it in far more profound ways. And both Chan and Zuckerberg should study him closely as they look to deploy the family's resources, which will stand at about $45 billion. Though Musk has given away some of his money, the thrust of his change-the-world vision has come from investment in his companies: Tesla, SpaceX, and Solar City. When he got very rich after the sale of PayPal to eBay, he took — as he often explains it — all of his money and sank it into those three enterprises.

London stabbing
A man wielding a knife slashed a man in an east London underground station on Saturday, reportedly screaming "this is for Syria", before police used a stun gun to detain him in what they described as a terrorist incident.
A pool of blood near the ticket barriers at the Leytonstone Station, about 6 miles (10 km) east of central London, was visible in footage posted on Twitter that also showed the suspect confronting officers at just after 1900 GMT.
Police said initial reports indicated the man had also threatened other bystanders. One man had serious knife injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening and two other people had minor injuries, police said.

Salt does more than just make your food taste more delicious—it’s important for your body tofunction properly.
Sodium, one of the key ingredients in table salt, regulates blood flow and pressure, and helps transmit messages between nerves and muscle fibers.
Chloride, the other chemical in table salt, aids in digestion. Foods in your diet need to have enough salt to replenish these nutrients to keep you healthy.
But too much salt can be bad for you. Processed foods are packed with the stuff, and restaurants add more salt to their food to make it taste better. As a result, more Americans are eating high-sodium diets (sometimes without even knowing it), which has somepretty drastic effects on their health.
