A host of Middle East nightmare scenarios have unfolded in recent years, from chemical warfare toattempted genocide to state collapse to the takeover of significant territory by an unprecedentedly brutal jihadist group.

One of the region's most dangerous frontlines has remained quiet through it all. Even with repeated Israeli strikeson their weapons supply routes and stockpiles inside of Syria, open warfare hasn't broken out between the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah and Israel.

At least 16 people were hospitalized after a shooting at a playground in New Orleans, a local TV station reported on Sunday, citing police.

WWL TV said the shooting occurred around 7 p.m. local time (0100 GMT on Monday) while about 500 people were at Bunny Friend playground in the city's Upper Ninth Ward for the making of a music video.

21 members of a Nigerian criminal organisation arrested in a raid by Barcelona Police for forcing Nigerian women into prostitution

On Monday, Nov. 16, Catalan regional police launched a large-scale raid against human trafficking and sexual exploitation of women in Barcelona, Spain. 21 people, 15 men and 6 women, tall Nigerians, were arrested in the early morning operation for forcing Nigerian women into prostitution. The Central Unit against Human Trafficking disclosed that the suspects are part of a criminal organisation, known as "Supreme Eiye Confraternity", that has forced more than one hundred women into prostitution since the beginning of 2014.

Russia is putting the words 'For Paris' on some bombs planned for targets in Syria

Russian ground crew are inscribing the words "For Paris" on some bombs destined to be dropped on targets in Syria, in a message of solidarity with the victims of last week's Paris attacks.

A video posted online by the Defence Ministry here also shows a serviceman writing "For Our Guys" on a bomb at Russia's Hmeymim airbase.

"Pilots and technicians of Hmeymim airbase have sent their message to terrorists by priority airmail," said a caption accompanying the post.

Russia has intensified strikes on Syrian militants, including from Islamic State, which has claimed responsibility for the attacks that killed 130 people in Paris and for downing a Russian airliner in Egypt last month, killing all 224 on board.

Russian politicians have said the Paris attack underscores the need for the West and the Kremlin to bury their differences and join forces to take on militants in Syria.

Members of the band Eagles of Death Metal are talking about the night terrorists stormed their concert in France and killed 89 people.

In a preview clip produced by Vice, band members Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme describedto Vice's Shane Smith how their Friday night show earlier this month became a scene of the worst violence in Paris since World War II.

"Several people hid in our dressing room," Hughes told Smith, saying everyone there was killed "except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket."

The attack on November 13 was the culmination of a massive terrorist operation that ended the lives of some 130 people across the French capital.

Most of the people killed were at the Bataclan theatre, where fans gathered to watch the Eagles of Death Metal perform.

"Game of Thrones" fans are going nuts over a fascinating new spoiler for season six courtesy of former "Deadwood" actor Ian McShane.

McShane, who was cast in a small but pivotal role on the show's upcoming season, recently revealed just how important his character would be.

“I'll give you one hint," he toldPop Goes the News. "I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you’re never going to see again. I’ll leave it at that.”

Fans are going wild with theories as to whom McShane will resurrect.
