'Evil' loner who killed Karen Buckley, 24, had 'deliberately gone out to find a victim': Student died just 20 minutes after meeting attacker at Glasgow nightclub

Glasgow loner Alexander Pacteau murdered Karen Buckley 20 minutes after meeting her
Loner Alexander Pacteau (inset) repeatedly hit Karen Buckley (left) with a spanner after she left a nightclub in Glasgow in April. He then plotted to get rid of the student's body by dissolving her in caustic soda, which he bought at a nearby shop (pictured main) while her desperate friends and family took part in a huge four-day search. Miss Buckley's family branded 21-year-old Pacteau 'pure evil' and a 'coward' today after he admitted her murder. It can be revealed for the first time that Pacteau, who admitted murder, previously stood trial for attempted rape and sexual assault, but was cleared by a majority verdict.

Ariel Adams Top 10 Recommended WatchesaBlogtoWatch
Watches I recommend for anyone to own? That sounds a bit presumptuous, right?
Well, it is, but hear me out.
In what might end up being a new series of articles here on aBlogtoWatch, I'd like to share with our audience the timepieces that we as individual watch lovers and experts would recommend to any new or veteran collector.
In fact, I would go so far as to say that no watch collection is truly complete without including most or all of these models. But let's face it, is any collection of anything ever really complete? Let's hope not.
People ask me all the time what watches they should buy at all types of price points. This list of watches is meant to offer something for everyone, but at the same time, there is no watch on here — no matter how inexpensive or luxurious — that one collector cannot enjoy at the same time in the same collection.

Since this mindset affects so many people, we asked exercise scientist Shawn Arent about some of the misconceptions associated with exercise and weight loss.
He had a lot of interesting things to say, particularly about the role that diet plays in the equation.
Here's what he told us:
