It's official—Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are married! The rapper's rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly shortly after the ceremony, saying, "Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married in a private ceremony in the presence of family and friends in Florence, Italy, today."
As expected, the couple of two years tied the knot on Saturday, May 24, in Florence, Italy, at the 16th-century Forte di Belvedere in front of their closest family members and friends, including Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, LaLa Anthony, Lorraine Schwartz, Q-Tip, and more.

The 33-year-old bride stunned during the sunset vows to her rapper beau. The 36-year-old artist made sure Kardashian had the wedding of her dreams.
A source close to West told Us Weekly the ceremony would be a "princess fairy tale for Kim," adding, "Kanye thought of every detail."

The fashionable couple's ceremony was only part of the extravagant memorable weekend. After a couple of days of merriment in and around Paris, on Friday, May 23, the couple treated their guests to a brunch at designer Valentino's castle and then held a lavish party at the Palace of Versailles.

Kardashian and West, who are parents to 11-month-old North West, are set to attend a friend's wedding next and will later embark on their honeymoon sans North, a source tells Us.
The couple got engaged in an equally lavish way. West proposed to the reality star with an enormous Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring on the eve of her 33rd birthday, surprising her on October 21 in front of family and friends at AT&T Park in San Francisco. West projected onto the stadium screen: "Pleeease Marry Meee!!!"

The couple were good friends prior to first stepping out together in 2012. West revealed in an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest in October 2013, he's always had a fascination with the reality star.
"I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time," West admitted. "I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton … and I remember telling my boy … 'Have you seen that girl, Kim Kar-dijon?'"

As previously reported, Kardashian, 33, wore a Givenchy haute couture gown made by Riccardo Tisci while celebrating her nuptials at the medieval Forte di Belvedere. As the couple said "I do," the star-studded crowd of guests erupted in cheer, a source tells Us. Once at their reception, which was also planned by Sharon Sacks, the "Bound 2" singer, who had a major hand in planning every detail of the wedding weekend, gave an 8-minute speech to those in attendance. "I just want to thank you all so much for being her with us," he said.

West, along with his now-wife, also spoke to their group of loved ones after touring The Palace of Versailles and before Lana Del Rey took the stage for a private performance in Paris, France on Friday.
"Kanye kept making the cutest remarks to her. He said, 'It's amazing to look around this room, there are so many talented people,'" a source told Us. He added: "'Kim's way more beautiful than I am talented.'

  As detailed by Vogue's Andre Leon Talley, guests did not know where they were headed following the couple's pre-wedding brunch at Valentino's home. "You couldn’t call it a rehearsal dinner—it called for black tie and starts at 7:00 p.m. Destination unknown to every guest, who gets his own personal security and chauffeur," Talley wrote of the extravagant event.

Guest and friend Rachel Roy shared a picture of the scene, captioning the pic simply: "A dream #weddingwkend."

The evening was filled with fashionable moments. Mom Kris took to her Instagram to share a snap of her shoes, along with designer Valentino's. The mom-ager also shared a snap with designer Alexander Wang.

The Sharon Sacks planned fete was so exquisite "Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will become legend," Talley, who is a guest of the couple this weekend, wrote.
The stunning event ended in "lavish fireworks near midnight." Kimye, as well as their family members, then retreated to the Four Seasons Hotel George V, an eyewitness tells Us Weekly, where Khloe "walked in with her shoes off."

Kylie and Jaden Smith were also spotted post Versailles heading back to George V. The 16-year-old was "dressed down" in "motorcycle boots and a leather jacket" and "was eating out of a medium tub of Haagen-Dazs ice cream."
Kourtney and beau Scott Disick opted to head for the hotel bar after the event, where Kourtney also ditched her heels.
Attendees are later set to jet off to Florence, Italy, for the couples nuptials. "Private planes are at the ready for some destination in Italy tomorrow," Talley concluded in his recap.

Beyonce wished Kim Kardashian and Kanye West well on their wedding day, even though she and Jay Z were not in attendance.
As Gossip Cop reported, the singer posted a casual no-makeup selfie just as Kardashian and West walked down the aisle on Saturday, leading to speculation among some outlets that Beyonce was dissing the newlyweds.
Not the case.
“Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love,” wrote Beyonce on Instagram, accompanied by a picture of the couple and their daughter North (see below). “God bless your beautiful family.”
But while there may not be drama between Beyonce and Kardashian, something went amiss with the bride’s brother Rob, who bailed on the nuptials at the last minute.
