Nigerians die in chinese company pool

Someone sent a mail to Blogger, Ladun Liadi telling her about how some Nigerians were killed and drowned in the pool in a Chinese factory in Ikeja Lagos. The family are suspecting a foul player. Read the senders mail below.
''This is to notify you on this story that just got to me from a friend, whose brother is one of the dead boys. According to him, his brother worked with a Chinese company in Ikeja (, and he worked at the factory sometime last week, and slept over. His where about could not be determined till the following evening, where his body and that of his friend were found inside the company's swimming pool with blood coming out of their ears, nostrils, and mouth.
To my best of knowledge (i lost a brother to the pool, i.e got drowned). When a human drowns blood does not come out from those places, what we suspect is foul play, perhaps they must have seen or heard something they were not supposed to see or hear, or perhaps the company is into shady deals.
Please I would like to let the country know about the ills of most of these companies, we know they have strong backups, more so this is just one case we know, the next may be someone close to you

I did not stab DJ Kevin - Skailey denies

From Skailey: Our attention has been drawn to reports claiming our client Adeyemi Lawal Quadri popularly known as Skaliey Mental allegedly stabbed one DJ Kelvin also known as Kelvin. We hereby wish to debunk such reports about our client. There was no time Skaliey did such act as reported. He is a law abiding citizen of the country and also a very jovial person to be with. However, there is no doubt about Skaliey being aware of the incident, but he was not the one that stabbed Kelvin as it is being reported. A mutual friend of both Skaliey and Kelvin known as Walex was the
culprit of the act.
This was also confirmed by statements taken by police from Kelvin, Skaliey and T Blaze, whose studio the ugly incident happened that day at Agbado area of Lagos.
On the report that Skaliey and his manager were contacted by the writer of the story, we wish to say that there was no time they were contacted to get their own sides of the story.
Those who ever put calls through to Skaliey know that whenever his number is not reachable or at network range, his (Skaliey) phone calls are always diverted to his manager's (Tayo) phone number.  While we appreciate the enormous work of the media, we would appreciate if the truth is always reported about our stars so as to keep the noble pen profession in high respect.

Nigerian Actor Sentenced To 3 Months In Jail For Gay Sex

A 28-year old actor, Bestwood Chukwuemeka was on Monday sentenced to three-month imprisonment by a Karu Senior Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, for having sexual intercourse with another man through the anus.
The convict, who resides at Gidan Mangoro, had pleaded guilty to having engaged in homosexual acts.
“I am guilty of the charge against me. I  was under the influence of alcohol and I want the court to temper justice with mercy’’, he said. The police prosecutor, Mohammed Umar, had told the court that the convict committed the offence in August when the complainant was sleeping in his bed.
Homosexual acts, the prosecutor said, was contrary to Section 284 of the Penal Code. The prosecutor said since Mr. Chukwuemeka had pleaded guilty to the crime he initially denied, the court should try him summarily. The Senior Magistrate, Nafisatu Buba, sentenced him to three-month imprisonment without an option of fine.
“This would serve as warning to other youths who hide under the influence of alcohol to commit crimes,’’ she said.
When he was first arraigned in early September, Mr. Chukwuemeka pleaded not guilty, saying, “I came back drunk from the night club and thought I was sleeping on the same bed with my girl-friend and I started romancing her.”
At that hearing, Mrs Buba, had ruled that alcohol should not be seen as an excuse for committing the offence, but then granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum, with one of the sureties being a civil servant on Grade Level 09. However, when the case was heard Monday, the actor suddenly pleaded guilty, and Mrs Buba summarily tried him, sentencing him to three-month imprisonment. Homosexuality and lesbianism are seriously frowned at in Nigeria.
In November, the Nigerian Senate passed a strict law banning same-sex marriage and public display of affection by gays in Nigeria. The bill – Same Sex Marriage (prohibition) bill 2011 – prescribes 14-year jail terms for convicted gays in Nigeria.
“Persons who entered into a same sex marriage contract or civil union commits an offence and are each liable on conviction to a term of 14 years imprisonment,” the new law said.
It added, “Any person, who registers, operates or participates in gay clubs, societies and organization, or directly or indirectly makes public show of same-sex amorous relationships in Nigeria commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a term of 10-year imprisonment.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans were shocked last fall when reports surfaced that mom of three Melissa Gorga was previously employed as a stripper -- a claim she and her former boss vehemently denied. On Sunday's episode -- centered around the annual Posche fashion show -- viewers learned just how those rumors began.
"We're going to a fashion show, which historically doesn't end well, but we're going into it on the heels of a huge blowout. The recipe is not a good one," Caroline Manzo predicted early on during Sunday's show. The Posche 2010 runway show, which concluded with a fiery spat between Giudice and her cousin, Kathy Wakile, who challenged the way Giudice parented her daughters.
Reuniting with Posche's owner, notorious pot-stirrer Kim D., while getting her makeup and hair done pre-show, Giudice, 40, was introduced to Angelo Vorhees, a man who said he once managed Gorga, 33, at Lookers Gentleman's Club in Elizabeth, N.J.
As Kim D. prodded Vorhees for details about Gorga's alleged past as a stripper, Giudice was horrified, but admitted that he confirmed her suspicions about Gorga's one-time career. "I don't f--king want to hear it," Giudice sniped to Kim D. "[Me and Melissa] are in a good place."
Later, during the runway show, Vorhees appeared again, this time confronting his former "employee" Gorga. "I don't know where I know him from but I know his face," Gorga said just before the episode's end credits rolled.

Larry Guarino, the man who actually did hire Gorga at Lookers -- as a bartender! -- confirmed to Us Weekly after the fashion show that Vorhees had little to no contact with Gorga to begin with. And while Giudice may have attempted to comfort her sister-in-law during the fashion show, a source tells Us Weekly she was in on the set-up. "[Teresa] was trying to embarrass Melissa and imply she used to be a stripper. All the other [cast members] thought it was wrong of Teresa," argues the insider, adding that Gorga confronted her sister-in-law about a set-up and asked why she didn't warn Gorga of Vorhees' presence.
Confirms the source: "The girls were like, 'If Teresa's all about family… stop stirring the pot!"

Now an anonymous reader has sent pictures of the singer's baby mama.

The sender claims the lady in the picture is Wizkid's girlfriend, Shola who had a child Boluwatife for him last year. Shola is 21 and she recently finished from North American University. Boluwatife clocked one not too long ago.

Man Sets Live-in Lover Ablaze in Ikotun *Viewer Discretion Advised*

A 35-year-old lady yesterday told how her live-in lover poured fuel on her and set her ablaze in Ikotun area of Lagos State.

The lady, Janet Udegba said her lover, Mr. Kehinde Adesamuye, 39, set her on fire because he was angry and jealous over her relationship with other men. She said she was at the Junction where she does her business of selling cooked Indomie before kehinde came that night, poured petrol on her and lit it with fire.
Janet however says Nigerians should not let kehinde go scot free with what he has done to her. Janet narrates how it all started…


‘’My husband has always been jealous. He used to beat me every time, under any guise and excuse.

I’ve tried several times to leave him, but he always threatens to harm me. I stayed with him because I was afraid of him and my life. He always told me that I could never escape from him, except I leave Lagos State. Anytime I said I was leaving him, he would say, no problem, but that he would do something to me which I would not forget. Now, see what he had done to me. He wanted to kill me.

“I used to sell indomie at Ikotun round about. There are other men and women selling there too. We’re all friends. Last two weeks Friday, one of the traders had a baby. We went for the naming ceremony. Kehinde was there with me. One of the traders gave me a drink; I just took a sip because I was in my flow.

“That was how it all started. He said I was kissing another man in his presence. He said that I sipped from the bottle that the man drank from. Right there, he started threatening that he was going to deal with me when we get home.

To be on the safe side, I called my younger sister, telling her that I might come over to spend the night at her place. I didn’t want him to beat me. When we got home, he cursed, abused and said all sort of things, but I didn’t respond or reply because I didn’t want him to pounce on me. This behaviour continued till Saturday. He even kicked off the bed, but I didn’t mind. I slept on the floor.

When I woke up on Sunday, he had gone out. I rushed to take my bath because I wanted to leave the house before he came back. But he suddenly came back, and started beating me for no reason. He beat so much that I thought he was going to kill me. It was due to the intervention of our landlord that he left me. After that beating, I moved in with my younger sister.”

Government should make sure Kehinde pays for what he did to me. I am an orphan. I have no father or mother. I sell Indomie to live. Now, I’ve spent all my money. In fact, I need help she said.

For reasons best known to Kehinde, he started sending friends to Janet’s shop, to beg on his behalf. He wanted her to forgive him and come back. But she refused. Last week Tuesday, Kehinde came to the shop with another friend to beg once more, but Janet told him that she was through with the relationship. Fuming, Kehinde jumped up from his seat, told her that he had nothing against her leaving, but that he was going to deal with her. He made good the threat by dousing her.

The following day, Kehinde was arrested by policemen as he was strolling along the streets of Ikotun.
