Kanu: We called Keshi 'big boss'
Nwankwo Kanu has a long history with the FIFA World Cup™, having appeared in three tournaments spanning three different decades wearing the colours of Nigeria. The tall striker helped his side to match their best ever performance of escaping the group stages at France 1998, while he took his final bow for the Super Eagles at South Africa 2010.
He told FIFA.com last year that "everyone wants to represent their country at the World Cup and there are three goals you want to achieve there. The first is to participate, the second is to make your mark, and the third is to win it."
The former Ajax, Inter Milan and Arsenal forward is now out in Brazil watching his beloved country achieve the first of those targets, while no doubt hoping they can tick off the second one and, who knows, maybe even the third. FIFA.com caught up with him again as they beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0 in Cuiaba to get his views on the team.
How do you feel the team played against Bosnia and Herzegovina?
When we played against Iran, they were not really coming out. The Bosnians, of course, wanted to win so they came out and that suited our pattern of play, which was good for us.

Do you feel you will be able to earn the point you need against Argentina to ensure a Round of 16 place?
Yeah, I think so, because what has happened with the Nigerian team is that they keep getting better game after game, so I believe when we play Argentina the confidence and the winning mentality beating Bosnia will bring will mean we will be able to do well against Argentina.

Are you enjoying the fact that a Nigerian World Cup legend in Stephen Keshi is leading the side in Brazil?
Yeah, we support him, we know what he can do. He has done it in the Africa Cup of Nations but he still has to do it this time around. It's good to see him, a former captain, become the coach, a player who appeared at the World Cup now leading his side at the tournament again.

You played alongside him with the Super Eagles at the start of your career. What are you memories of him?
We used to call him the 'big boss' [laughs]. He is the big one who makes the decisions and we as the young ones had to respect that and follow him. But the good thing with him was that he had influence and I think he is showing that again with the way he is leading the national team.

It is also quite a young team as well, so do you think there is more to come from them in the future?
When [Keshi] came in, he said we need to build a team and before we knew it we had won the Nations Cup and now we are in the World Cup, so I think the work is in progress.

Are you enjoying following the team around Brazil?
Yes, I love it! Do I think I will be here for the whole tournament? I would say yes, because we are going to get to the semi-finals of course.

"I'm all woman with two boobs & no balls'- footballer Chichi Igbo says

So a followers just asked if I'm on male hormones/testosterone plus I get negative comments about being on steroids all the time. So I'm Gonna address this. I'm not mad neither do I take it the wrong way cos I understand why it's unbelievable that a female can have it like that but here is the truth, if y'all really pay attention you would know what I do for a living. Playing soccer on a professional level is something taken seriously, which means the rules that applies for the highest sports out there on doping applies for us too which means we are dope tested as players by local federations and FIFA. I know I own nobody no explanation but it's always good to feed people's curiosity so they can move on and that's what I'm doing. I barely use them so called supplements cos I only wanna give credit to hard work, dedication, persistence and my genes. I have my career to thank cos it'd be impossible for some to believe I'm natural but I'm a living proof that muscles can be gained naturally if you work for it. I'm a woman with two boobs and no balls in between my legs, I'm just created special and that's why I refuse to fit in or live by societies standards. I'm a mystery to some but that's ok, the world would be boring if we all looked alike, so accept and respect each other's differences cos that's thee only way we can live in peace and harmony. Embrace your differences, you are not a mistake but specially made so please DO NOT allow people bully you into felling that you are not good enough or worthy. They DONT have to like, understand or accept you, you are You are awesome just the way you are, so long you embrace and accept you for you. I wouldn't put myself out there if I could cos I majority of the time think people get at me for all the Wrongs reasons, I'd rather get complimented on my personality than my outer look, no offense but that's just me, so I put myself out there so I could encourage and motivate others, I may not answer all the questions thrown at me but I try to respond when I can. I hope I cleared this up. It's ok to be a female and fit, that don't make you less beautiful. Stay strong and healthy
Lemme hear another dickhead ask me why I'm Trina be a dude cos of how I dress, shit men tell me they wanna be just like me when they grow up bahahah..I'm a WOMAN just not your average woman. What you wear doesn't define you, sorry for them studs that think they are guys, that's bs unless you are Ftm or considering a sex change but that ain't me. I'm very satisfied with who I see in the mirror inside out. Call me miss extraordinary.

"Allow me to school you, i do it better than your girlfriend so pls don't get it twisted, what I wear don't define me" Chified wrote under this photo.

Herbalist Buries Ex- Customs officer and her daughter Alive after Fleecing her of 200 Million Naira

PUNCH Metro had reported on Monday that the decomposed bodies of the woman and her daughter were found in Azeez’s house in Ire Akari Crescent, Ajuwon Akute, Ogun State by operatives of the Lagos State Special Anti-Robbery Squad. The police subsequently marked the building as a kidnapper’s den.
Azeez, an Oyo State indigene with three wives and five children, said he was forced to kill the customs officer and her daughter after she threatened to kill him over a sum of money.
He explained, “I have been a trado-medical doctor for about 30 years, but I knew Angela over five years ago. She initially came to me for protection from family attacks. One of her friends called Lizzy introduced her to me. The relationship began to grow, and she kept patronising me for one thing or the other.
“Then, about three years ago, she mentioned her barreness problem, adding that the daughter that was with her was adopted. I was shocked. But when she told me her age, I told her it was impossible to make her pregnant. But she insisted that prophets in the churches she went had assured her she would get pregnant.”
Our correspondent learnt that Azeez later lied to the woman that she would get pregnant and collected N9m from her for the job.
Azeez added, “I did the normal concoction for her, but it didn’t work because of her age. But I collected the money because I knew if I did not, she would go to where they would collect it. After some months without result, she came to my place to complain. She then demanded a refund, but I told her that I could not repay it. She then began to threaten me. Within a month, I tried to repay N2.5m. On that fateful week, she came back for the remaining N6.5m.
“It was Saturday, May 17. She came with her daughter and insisted that she wanted her balance. She said as a retired customs officer, she could kill me if I didn’t pay back the money. Then I thought, I must kill this woman before she killed me. The hole at the back of my house was not built for killing. It was dug for drainage during rainfallss.”
Azeez added that he went to the backyard, covered the hole with a white cloth that Angela normally saw in another shrine in his house.
He said, “After we talked, we moved with her daughter to the place. I said she should kneel down on the mat with her daughter. She did so and fell into the pit with her daughter. The operation was successful because no member of my family was around in the house.
I then began to cover the pit up with sand. I poured in roughly 50 buckets of sand. The following day, I got two bricklayers to cement the portion. But I had first taken out the belongings she brought.”
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, stated that the police had concluded their investigations on the case, adding that the native doctor was going to be charged to court for murder.
He said, “The woman and her daughter were reported missing on May 10 at the Oko Oba Police Division by the family.
“Azeez was eventually arrested through a tracking device installed on the victim’s Toyota Camry. Azeez, an herbalist, had hypnotized the woman for a long time. He had taken over N200m from her both in cash and property. We discovered he cleverly constructed a well in his house, lured the woman with her daughter into the room, and buried them alive.
“We were able to recover the decomposed bodies of the victims from the well. We also picked their property which was buried along with them. We have finished our investigations, and he will be charged to court for murder. We will leave the rest to be decided by the court.”
Keyshia Cole wants to explore bi-sexuality?

On the new single titled 'She,' Keyshia says she's down for something different and then describes being intimate with a woman. Keyshia sings;
"Down to try something different / Lips and legs, soft skin so feminine / Curves like me, covered in my cherry scent/Them boys love ‘em some you / But I ain’t mad ’cause you look good on me too / She look good on me too.”Hopefully she's just flirting with the girl-girl theme like other singers and not really serious!
Nigeria-Bosnia and Herzegovina: Quotes
Safet Susic, Bosnia and Herzegovina coach
The match unfolded exactly the way I imagined. It was an open game, two teams wishing to win, lots of chances at either end. We had a lot of chances and didn’t convert any. They had one and scored that goal. I can only congratulate them. We knew they would be tough but they surprised us with their speed, their movement. They played attacking football, they really wanted to win. Now they are in second place in the group with great chances to progress.

Everybody is happy in west Africa; Ghana got their result and we won. It’s good for the continent. The fighting spirit we showed was good. I never thought that we wouldn’t make the Round of 16. I have the players. But look at Iran today, if it was not for Lionel Messi. We need to work hard for the game against Argentina.

The goal means a lot to me. But the win was down to 90 minutes of concentration and effort from my team-mates. The most important thing today was the character. We even enjoyed defending together. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love this country. Playing for my fatherland is an honour and a pleasure. What better way to come back than playing in a World Cup. Being back with my fiends made me happy. I didn’t expect to come back and score a winner in such an important game, but I’m very happy. But this was a point the team earned. Right now I’m so high on our team’s performance.
