Young Buck Shot At 11 Times in Nashville, TN

Earlier this morning (March 4), former G-Unit rapper Young Buck was shot at 11 times while driving an SUV in Nashville, Tennessee.
NBC 4 reports that at approximately 3:30 AM, a white Chevrolet Tahoe drove past Buck's SUV and opened fire hitting the vehicle 11 times.
Though the rapper, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, was not hit in the gunfire, contrary to some reports, a female passenger however was hit once in the shoulder. Metro Police say the woman was treated and released at Vanderbilt Hospital while another passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
The shooting came after Buck was holding a cook out and video shoot in his Nashville residence, taking to Twitter to publicise the event. Though he's been trying to pick his career back up since his falling out with former label, G-Unit the rapper has been harried with **** financial hardship over the years--facing Chapter 7 in October 2011 resulting in the liquidation of his assets. A trustee administering his estate revealed in December that she has plans to sell his "Young Buck" moniker as part of the liquidation.
As of press time, there's been no word on the shooting from Young Buck's camp. Stay tuned to XXLMag.com as new information becomes available.

How A Top NNPC Staff Was Brutally Murdered And Kept In Her Freezer

Chief Sa'adu Abdullahi, an Auchi-based legal practitioner, on Friday told an Abuja High Court how he and two of his in-laws discovered the corpse of his wife, Afshatu, in her deep freezer.

Mrs. Abdullahi, a mother of three and a top NNPC staff, was murdered on November 5, 2011 in her house located off Ladoke Akintola Boulevard, in Garki II.
The office of the Inspector-General of Police on February 16, arraigned Chiwendu Hart-Amanya, 30, Kenneth Chigozie, 21, and Ejike Igbe, 18, before Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf on a six-count charge including felony and murder of Mrs. Afshatu Abdullahi.
The prosecution counsel, Sam Lough told the court that Hart-Amanya was the driver of the deceased, while Chigozie was the steward.
Igbe was arrested for being in possession of the deceased's cars (not one).
The prosecution said the offence contravened Sections 315, 316, 317 and 318 of the Penal Code.
It would be recalled that all the three accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges.
At the resumed hearing on Friday, Abdullahi, husband of late Afshatu, told the court how the corpse of his wife was discovered in the kitchen freezer with deep cuts on her neck and other parts of her body.
Abdullahi told the court that during the last Eid-el Kabir holiday on November 6, 2011, Afshatu had called to say that she would be in Auchi for the celebration with her family.
He said she had called to tell him that she would come to see the family, and that after waiting for three days without hearing from her, he decided to come to Abuja to check her.
"When I got to Abuja, I went straight to the NNPC where she works and was told that no one had seen her.''
Abdullahi told the court that a search party that was organised, found only the security man, Ali Alpha in Afshatu's house, while the first and second, who live in the boy's quarters, were nowhere to be found.
He said that Alpha said he had not seen his madam for a few days and assumed that she had traveled.
"We broke into the house and found the place in disarray, with many expensive furniture missing and her jewelry gone; it was obvious the house had been burgled.
"While searching, my brother-in law, Tahiru Momoh, opened a deep freezer in the kitchen and we discovered my beloved wife's body inside it.
"We called the Police and in the cause of their investigations, neighbours told them (Police) that they saw the driver driving my wife's Infinity Toyota SUV some days earlier.
"The security man also told the Police that the driver (first accused) came back on the same day to take away the second 2011 brand of Toyota SUV.''
Abdullahi said that he was hospitalised for three days after the corpse of his wife was found in the freezer.
"I was shocked and shaken to my bone marrow", he said.
During cross-examination by counsel to the three accused, Mr. Paul Esewomo, Abdullahi debunked any rumours that he and his wife were separated.
Abdullahi also told the court that he loved his wife "100 per cent".
Justice Baba-Yusuf adjourned further hearing in the suit to Thursday and Friday, March 8 and 9.

21-Year-Old Nigerian Student Arrested, Charged With The Murder Of An 89-Year-Old Woman In America

A Nigerian born Texas Tech student, Sampson Blake Oguntope, 21, is being charged with murder in regard to a fatal Slaton shooting which left one woman dead and another injured.
He is currently in police custody at the Lubbock County Detention Center and his bail was raised to at least $5 million — formerly $500,000.
Steven Wheeler, chief of the Slaton Police Department, said originally Oguntope, a Houston native, was a person of interest regarding the homicide and he was detained at the Detention Center on charges of theft.
Slaton police found Faye Gray, 89, and her female caretaker, 21, had both sustained gunshot wounds. Gray was pronounced dead at the scene while the younger woman was transported to University Medical Center for treatment. Her condition is described as stable.
Lubbock police asked that the caretaker's name not be revealed because of the sensitivity of the case.
Wheeler said the police are not releasing any additional information regarding charges against Oguntope at this time.
At 8:12 a.m. authorities received a complaint that a black male had made contact with a Slaton resident and was asking personal questions, including what times the resident went to work and would return home. Wheeler said the resident said Oguntope was asking if a woman around 21 years old lived at the home.
Authorities later received information that Oguntope's white Honda was found at the Knights Inn on Highway 84 near Slaton.
When police confronted Oguntope at the inn, he told them he was looking for a woman he had been talking to and went to the wrong address.
When confronted about why he was at Knights Inn, Oguntope said he wanted to use the hotel's wireless Internet.
According to a statement released by the Slaton Police Department, "Sampson did not seem to be nervous or act suspicious to the officers (and) Sampson was not wanted for any warrants at the time of this contact."
The Slaton Police Department then received a call at 11:48 a.m. claiming there was a white female bleeding within the 1400 block of West Crosby Street in Slaton.
Wheeler said Lt. Trevor Barnes was the first officer on the scene and advised the police chief to investigate a residence near the end of the 1400 block. Wheeler said he and Slaton detective David Wood arrived at 1480 W. Crosby St. and found an elderly woman dead at the scene, appearing to have sustained a gunshot wound.
Barnes and another officer told Wheeler that the younger victim stated the intruder was a black male with a white car.
Wheeler said authorities discovered the person of interest lived in Lubbock and was enrolled as a student at Tech. After contacting the Texas Tech Police Department, they found Oguntope's vehicle was entered under Tech property.  Tech PD, DPS and the Texas Rangers tried locating him on campus, and the Lubbock SWAT team set surveillance on Oguntope's residence in north Lubbock at 3620 Marshall St.
Oguntope was arrested in Lubbock at his address. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office said two other individuals — Charles Henry Burgess, 28, and Philip Michael Murphy, 26 — were also arrested for attempting to prevent officers from conducting an investigation

Nigerian Victoria Osoteku, 19Year-Old-Teen Found Guilty Of Murder In UK

By Dr Lori T

A teenage girl born of Nigerian parents, 19-year-old Victoria Osoteku was the latest of several convictions over the murder of Sofyen Belamouadden 15  at London rail terminus. Sofyen Belamouadden, 15, died after suffering multiple stab wounds during a fight between rival school pupils in Victoria station.
Victoria Osoteku was found guilty of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, after Sofyen Belamouadden died.
Victoria Osoteku, 19, was said to be at the heart of the attack at Victoria station in London which resulted in Sofyen Belamouadden being knifed in front of horrified commuters.
She was seen on CCTV kicking him in the head as he lay dying on the ground after the 10-second attack by rival school pupils.
Sofyen was stabbed nine times to the body and suffered wounds to his heart, a lung and major blood vessels.
Osoteku was found guilty of manslaughter at the Old Bailey in the latest of a series of trials of 20 defendants from south London.
She was the only female charged in connection with the incident in March 2010, and spent 19 days in the witness box.
Osoteku, of Deptford, south London, was remanded in custody to be sentenced at a later date with others convicted of the killing.
The stabbing was the horrific end of a minor confrontation the day before in the fast food area of the station between pupils from two west London schools.
The court heard Osoteku bought a set of knives from Argos with a 17-year-old youth at lunchtime and gave them to the gang.
Osoteku vicky
She was also one of the teenagers responsible for setting up the fatal showdown. The A-level student sent messages by phone and on Facebook arranging the clash between pupils from the rival schools.
Sofyen died after being chased by around 20 pupils across the Terminus Way concourse and into the Underground station.
Osoteku was behind a youth who led the charge with a Samurai sword. Other youths were armed with a flick knife and a Swiss army knife, machetes and screwdrivers.
Mr Heywood said: “They were so heavily armed that no smaller group, or even police officer or member of station staff, could withstand them or stop them.”
Sofyen fell down the stairs into the ticket hall and was attacked on the ground by a smaller group.
Osoteku was also found guilty of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mark Heywood QC, prosecuting, said: “She was one of those who set up and organised the confrontation that led to the death.
“Her responsibility for the death is very great indeed, even though it was others that delivered the final fatal blows that led to Sofyen Belamouadden’s death.”
He said she and another pupil were “at the heart” of all the communication and “were in effect the focal point”.
Osoteku denied the allegations during the five-month trial.
She said she had not kicked Sofyen.
“I just went to see if he was OK and I nudged him with my foot to see if he was OK,” she wept.
“He didn’t move. I looked down and then I ran off. I panicked. I did not know what to do.”
She told the court that she had a terrible childhood, being taken into care with her sister when she was eight.
Osoteku becomes the fourth person convicted of manslaughter.
Adonis Akra, 18, Samuel Roberts, 19, and Femi Oderinwale, 18, were found guilty of manslaughter during earlier hearings.
Last May, Obi Nwokeh, 19, and Christopher Omoregrie, 18, were found guilty of murder, with Samson Odegbune, 18, convicted of murder in August.
A 17-year-old and 19-year-old have been convicted of conspiracy to cause grevious bodily harm.
Four youths have been sentenced for violent disorder. Three were cleared of all charges.
Four others are still to face trial on various charges.

Janet Jackson Says No to 'X Factor

By LORI T
Janet Jackson, Pink, Katy Perry, Fergie, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne -- the reported candidates for the two open judges' spots on Fox's "The X Factor" keep rolling in. But one of those artists apparently isn't interested: Jackson has taken herself out of the running.
The singer tells mmm360.blogspot.com that she's "very flattered that X Factor let me know that I was being considered for next season, but it just wouldn't be possible."
Jackson says previous commitments to her Number Ones Up Close and Personal Tour and Lionsgate (which produced her 2010 film, Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls) keep her from accepting a TV gig at this time.
Although the artist's reps tell the site that she never took any meetings to discuss joining X Factor, The Hollywood Reporter's sources said she was in very early talks about joining the show in mid-February. She also tiptoed around the idea when she appeared on Anderson Cooper's daytime show, Anderson, on Feb. 20.
During a press call last week, Simon Cowell said he would be taking meetings during the next few weeks with those who have expressed interest in the positions formerly held by Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. He also said that the series will replace Steve Jones with two hosts on Season 2 - a male and a female.

Nick Cannon Opens Up About Health Issues

In case you haven’t noticed, Nick Cannon hasn’t exactly been the picture of health these past few months. First, he suffered from kidney failure following a family trip to Aspen, only to head back to the hospital a few weeks later for blood clots found in his lungs. Nick told 3m360, “The blood clot thing was probably the scariest because … I’ve known people who have passed away from that.” According to Nick, these health problems stem from a Lupus-like autoimmune disease. He has since stepped down for his morning radio show and says that he’s really just trying to take it easy. As he said, it’s “something I’m going to be living with all my life.” He does point out that “It’s a lot of stuff, but it’s all in order now.”Glad to hear it Nick. With two tiny babies in the house, it would be even more devastating if something were to happen. Plus, he and Mariah Carey are kind of a cute couple in a really bizarre way. But most importantly: “I feel blessed to be alive,” Nick said. “If it wasn’t discovered, I don’t know [what would have happened].”

3m360 Exclusive! The-Dream on Recording New Music With Jay-Z: "We've Done A Couple Things Already"

3m360 recently caught up with The-Dream to discuss his upcoming projects and one of the most controversial remixes of the year. After Terius admitted to recording a few new records with Jay-Z, the accomplished singer/songwriter refused to elaborate on the details but assured us a new project from Hov is on the way.3m360: The one joint that we do know about is [Rihanna's] "Birthday Cake (Remix)." Were you in the studio with Rihanna when she recorded the remix?

The-Dream: I sure was.

What was that experience like? Did she call you, did you call her?

I did the original one months back for the album, we talked about making sure there was a whole song that basically [got] a reaction from the people that [she] wanted to happen. It was a interlude because it was the last record that I did at the particular time for the album and it came down to one of them last day things and we had to have the whole album mixed and mastered. And so there was nothing else written to it because I didn’t write nothing to it and a lot of people who know me know when I write a record I just write to the first hook. I never write pass that so if you want to do it we'll finish it. If not we waste time trying to do the whole record. And so she cut the record and we had already been talking about trying to get the record finished.
So when she was like 'I need Breezy on this,' what was your reaction?
My initial reaction was like Okaaayyy... not in no bad way or whatever, Rihanna is pretty smart and she knows what she doing, she knows what she wants to do and I’m behind her 100 percent in whatever it is she wants to do and I don’t really care about the......she’s not harming anybody. It’s not really a care of mine to somebody who’s going to speak on it in whatever way, it only matters to me how she feels about what it is she’s doing and for me to try and facilitate that the best way I can.

Brawl Erupts at Young Jeezy Show in Orlando

Concertgoers at a Young Jeezy concert in Orlando over the weekend broke into a fight during which chairs, bottles and even a mic stand went flying in the air, causing the Snowman to exit the stage temporarily.
According to 3m360, dozens of fans took part in a violent brawl at BB Kings Blues Club on Sunday (February 26), which erupted when security asked attendees to move back from the stage. As the rowdy group argued with the security personnel, someone took things a step further by throwing a drink at the stage, eventually kicking off the physical fight.
Jeezy tried to calm the crowd down by speaking on the loudspeaker, but it was useless, so he exited the stage through the back until things died down. It is unclear at press time if anyone suffered any major injuries in the melee.
Sources close to Jeezy told 3m360 the rapper was "very upset" with the venue because he felt they should have done a better job controlling the crowd.

DMX Says " I HATE DRAKE" He Wants to Collaborate With Adele and Sade.

DMX has collaborated with an impressive list of female singers throughout his career including Mary J. Blige, Monica, Faith Evans and the late Aaliyah, the latter whom he crafted the track "Back in One Piece" with and starred alongside in the movieRomeo Must Die (2000).
If X has it his way, he'll be collaborating with a few more famous lady crooners soon, and at the top of his list are two very unlikely choices.
"Sade and Adele," X recently told mmm360.blogspotcom. When asked why, the Dog gave off-the-cuff responses."I love chubby girls," he said in reference to the ultra-talented Adele, who won six Grammys, including Album of the Year, in February. As for Sade: "I love her," he simply said.
This comes after Dark Man X said he was hoping to do a record with Alicia Keys in a separate interview with 3.m360last summer. It's certainly possible, considering that Keys is of course married to Swizz Beatz, a regular collaborator of X's throughout his career. Swizzy even joined X on stage during the Dog's first show back in New York City in years last Thursday (Feb. 23) at SOBs.
A few artists that DMX isn't likely to collaborate with anytime soon are Drake and Jay-Z. In an interview with The Breakfast Club on New York's Power 105.1 radio station last week, X expressed his distaste for both.
"I don't like anything about Drake," X said bluntly. "I don't like his ****** voice. I don't like none of the stuff he talks about. I don't like his face. I don't like the way he walks, like nothing. I don't like his haircut."
He also shared sentiments about how he feels like Hov screwed him over while President of Def Jam.
"How do [Jay-Z] listen to a whole album, pick a single, shoot a video then don't know," said DMX. "Okay, I see what's really good. You tryin' to eliminate the competition."
DMX's Undisputed, his first album in six years, is tentatively due in the second quarter, despite an original release date of March 27.

Eddie has been divorced for years and Toni separated from husband Keri Lewis in 2009

Ja Rule Speaks From Jail Addresses Drake & Kanye West Singing In Their Music

After selling millions of records in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s, Ja Rule eventually came under fire for singing in his songs - a style that had become a trademark of his sound. Calling in to Ear Candy Mornings from prison, the former Murder Inc. rapper spoke on artists like Drake and Kanye West using that style in their music, and how he supports it.

“I mean, I love it. I love to hear the melodies in the records. Music is music. I think people get that twisted. ‘Ah this is Hip Hop’ or ‘This is rock’ or ‘This is R&B.’ Hip Hop is the only form of music that can mess with all of those sounds and make for good music,” he said. “So when I hear it in the music, I smile. I love to hear it, I love to listen to Drake, I love Kanye - all of these artists who make good music, because that’s what it’s all about. It’s not about putting on a break beat and rhyming over it. That’s where it started, but things elevate, things change. I think I kind of was in that zone. I wouldn’t say I was ahead of my time, because I sold plenty of records doing that.”

Ja, who released his new album Pain is Love 2 yesterday, received backlash for singing in his songs after engaging in a heated beef with 50 Cent, who ridiculed him for using the style in his music. He hinted that Fif later adopted the same style, but noted that it never went away.

“I’ve got all the accolades for it, so I wouldn’t exactly say it was before anyone’s time. I think people enjoyed it and they loved it, and they’re still loving it. I just think it was a situation that I went through and people were led astray, led to believe that the style wasn’t the hot style or whatever. It’s funny, because it’s like someone told you pizza’s disgusting, pizza’s nasty, pizza’s wack. And then they went and sold pizza, and everybody bought it. It’s kind of that scenario, but I’m glad to hear it in the music.”
