Naira Marley’s management reacts to reports the singer is yet to find someone to stand surety for his bail

Naira Marley's management reacts to reports about the singer

The management of embattled singer, Afeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, has reacted to allegations that the singer who was granted bail by a Lagos court on May 30th, is yet to be released from prison because no one wants to stand as surety for him.

Reacting to the allegation, his management in a post shared on his Instastories this morning, said there are sureties already on ground to sign his bail but the delay in releasing the singer is because the anti-graft agency, EFCC, needs to verify the information provided by the sureties and this takes time.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Features Tony Stark's Hidden Lab

Spider-Man: Far From Home will reveal Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) secret workshop. Iron Man may be gone, but his legacy lives on with protege Peter Parker (Tom Holland). And while the genius billionaire is no longer around, he'll continue to be an integral part of the young hero's adventures as the web-slinging wall-crawler. That may come in the form of simply being an inspiration, or in more tangible ways like handing down some of his high-tech resources for Peter to take advantage of.

Directed by Spider-Man:Homecoming filmmaker Jon Watts, Far From Home will take place after the universe-shaking events of Avengers: Endgame. With Peter struggling to come to terms with the idea of a world without Tony, he'll be off for a recreational trip across the pond alongside some of his schoolmates. But his vacation will be hijacked by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who ropes him into a mission tackling the so-called Elementals that'll team him up with Quentin Beck aka Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Readers of comic books know, however, that both Peter and Fury need to keep their guards up against Beck considering his conniving ways in print. The film sounds pretty much straightforward, but Holland promises some big surprises, one of which includes the revelation of Tony's secret lab.

Kingsman 3 May Film This Year, Kingsman Prequel Casts Liam Neeson

Matthew Vaughn may begin filming Kingsman 3 as soon as this year, right after he's finished editing his prequel, The Great Game. Launched in 2015, the Kingsman movies are based on Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar's The Secret Service comic books, and follow the adventures of a British spy organization known as Kingsman. Vaughn's first two Kingsman films were quite lucrative and grossed a combined $825 million at the global box office. As a result, the franchise is being expanded with an upcoming prequel and sequel (both of which are being directed by Vaughn), in addition to a potential TV show and more spinoffs down the line.

Taron Egerton starred in the first two Kingsman movies as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin, an anti-authoritative young man who's recruited for the Kingsman by Agent Harry Hart (Colin Firth). Eggsy and Harry have served as the core of the series so far and will return in the as-yet untitled third installment, following the release of the in-production Great Game. Vaughn doesn't intend to take much of a break between Kingsman adventures, either, and is already looking ahead to the start of shooting on the next sequel.

'John Wick - Chapter 3' Review: An Action Franchise As Unstoppable As Its Namesake

John Wick Halle Berry

Think of your favorite action movie franchise with at least three entries, and then be honest with yourself. Odds are, whichever franchise you’re picturing, those first three films have been more than a little inconsistent. Lethal Weapon 3 leans too comedic, Die Hard 2: Die Harder is tonally all over the place, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is a cartoonish dud, Mission: Impossible 2 is ridiculous for the wrong reasons — these are facts. (Subjective facts, but still…) The only exceptions to the rule are the Bourne trilogy and the first four (!) films in Jackie Chan’s Police Story film series. Well, they were the only exceptions.

John Wick: Chapter 3 not only picks up immediately after the ending of its predecessor, but it also maintains and delivers the same fantastically high degree of carnage, momentum, and beautifully kick-ass style. It’s a two-hour blast of adrenaline and awe that revisits old characters, introduces new ones, and continues to expand its world in electrifying ways. There are some bumps, to be sure, but they take a back seat to personality, wonder, and throat-crushing glee.

10 steps on How to stop being annoyed by life

Image result for How to stop being annoyed by life

Do you get easily annoyed? At times, does that emotion quickly escalate to anger? You are not alone.

You shouldn't live with it, though.
Beyond improvements to your general mood and happiness, taming your anger can have important benefits to your health. Constant stress and aggravation is linked to a range of issues including overeating, insomnia and depression, and angry outbursts increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
Despite how common it is for us humans to become annoyed and angry -- from road rage to air rage and work frustrations to parenting -- there are few easy solutions. Maybe we've just accepted outsize irritation as a part of life, or maybe simple answers are antithetical to a problem that can be ingrained.
Easily getting bent out of shape, even angry, is my problem, too. It was happening more than I wanted and was cumulatively stressing me out, which is why, a couple of years ago, I set a goal to come up with an easy system, based on sound psychology, that I could employ in moments of annoyance.
Anger "is like a blazing flame that burns up our self-control," the Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh wrote. I aimed to teach myself how to rob it of oxygen and snuff it out.
"We all have a 'fight or flight' trigger," explained Dr. Mark Crawford, a clinical psychologist. "It is adaptive. Some of us have a more sensitive one than others. However, the good news is that we can almost 'reprogram' this by techniques like breathing and particularly mindfulness meditation."
For me, that reprogamming was best achieved by gaining perspective.

Below are the 10 simple steps I use to give perspective to, and gain distance from, unbridled irritation and anger. Employing them has significantly reduced the number of instances in which I get irritated, or at least has shortened their duration.
It's important to note that these are progressive steps. I rarely need to escalate through all 10.
Many smaller annoyances (someone cutting in line, traffic jam, kids not listening) can be tackled with just the first step. Others (unfair parking ticket, public rudeness) may send you halfway up the steps. And bigger situations (a blow-up with a family member, being denied a promotion at work) may require the collective effort of them all before it is defused.
You may also find it more effective to change the order, or a step itself.

Drug extends life of younger women with advanced breast cancer, study says

New tool calculates breast cancer risk with greater precision

Younger women suffering from a common form of advanced breast cancer have experienced significantly improved survival rates when treated with a drug that targets cancer cells, according to the findings of an international clinical trial.

The study was conducted among 672 women under the age of 59 who received a drug called palbociclib, in combination with a common form of hormone therapy.
Seventy percent of the women who took the combination therapy were alive after 42 months according to the findings, compared to 46% for women who were treated with only the hormone therapy and a placebo.
This, the researchers said, corresponded to a 29% lower risk of death in patients receiving the combination therapy.
The results were presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in Chicago Saturday and will be published Tuesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.
The study is the first to show a significant benefit in survival for premenopausal women with metastatic hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer, according to lead author Dr. Sara Hurvitz, who directs the Breast Cancer Clinical Research Program at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Rising suicide crisis: Adolescent mental health

Adolescence (10–19 years) is a unique and formative time. Whilst most adolescents have good mental health, multiple physical, emotional and social changes, including exposure to poverty, abuse, or violence, can make adolescents vulnerable to mental health problems. Promoting psychological well-being and protecting adolescents from adverse experiences and risk factors which may impact their potential to thrive are not only critical for their well-being during adolescence, but also for their physical and mental health in adulthood.

Mental health determinants
Adolescence is a crucial period for developing and maintaining social and emotional habits important for mental well-being. These include adopting healthy sleep patterns; taking regular exercise; developing coping, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; and learning to manage emotions. Supportive environments in the family, at school, and in the wider community are also important.

U.S. Lawyer Who Perished on Crowded Everest Died ‘Doing What He Loved’

The 11th person to die on a crowded Mount Everest this climbing season was a Colorado lawyer who had just achieved his dream of reaching the top of the highest peak on each continent.

Christopher John Kulish, 62, was just descending from the summit when he died; the cause was unclear, but others have perished of altitude sickness at that level.

“He saw his last sunrise from the highest peak on Earth. At that instant, he became a member of the ‘7 Summit Club,’” his brother, Mark Kulish, said in a statement.

The brother said Kulish had been climbing for 50 years. “He passed away doing what he loved,” he said in the statement obtained by the Denver News. “We are heartbroken at this news.”

Kulish’s death came amid growing concerns about potentially fatal overcrowding on the mountain. This is the deadliest year on Everest since an avalanche in 2015 killed more than 22 people.
