Exclusive: Fred Durst Talks Cash Money, Lil Wayne & Limp Bizkit

Limp Bizkit ** frontman Fred Durst had barely touched down in Los Angeles on Tuesday when he was readying to head to Miami to put finishing touches on "Ready to Go," the collaborative track with Lil Wayne ** and the first fruit of the band's new deal with Cash Money Records.
"I want to get it out there soon, as soon as we can," Durst, who finished an Australian tour with Limp Bizkit during the weekend, told Billboard.com. "The song is already done for the most part. I've got a couple little things I might poke around or punch in on my verse. And I want their guys to take a crack at the mix. I mixed it myself; I think it sounds very big, but I really love the way their guys are mixing stuff, so I want to see what they can do with it."

Birdman: Limp-Wayne Single Has 'Hip-Hop Swagger'

Durst played a bit of "Ready To Go" over the phone lines, and even with the obvious sonic limitations the energy of the banging, party-flavored track came through, with Wes Borland's slinky guitar twisting through a thundering beat from Polow da Don, with gang vocals in the chorus and Durst and Lil Wayne trading verses. "It sounds like a monster; it literally sounds dangerous," Durst exulted. "It sounds like that left of center, that place of discomfort that created rock 'n' roll, created the (heavy) metal, where it all spawned from." Durst said he's also written a concept for the song's video that will be filmed and distributed quickly.

Once it's finished, Durst said the plan for "Ready to Go" will likely be free Internet distribution. "We want to let everybody know this is just an introduction, just a taste of what throwing these two dudes together for five minutes can do," he explained. "Now that we're living together, now that we're married, we'll see what happens when we start doing more. I'm very excited."
And more is exactly what Durst has planned, sooner rather than later. Limp Bizkit is working on what he called "the heaviest, most crazy metal record of all time," "The Unquestionable Truth, Part 2," which Durst said will probably be an EP. "That will service our core and counter balance these big, fat, ginormous hip-rock songs we're going to do" with the Cash Money camp, he said. "We're gonna give out some mayhem and madness...to those people who really lean that way with us."

Durst plans to start "integrating" the Cash Money aesthetic with Limp Bizkit's crunch at the same time. "This (deal) has enabled me to make my rock music in a hip-hop fashion," he said. "I"m going to get with the producers, get with the people in the Cash Money camp, go wherever I need to go -- Miami, Atlanta. You just come in and you're there and you give it 110 percent for 12 hours, 24, 36 hours and you leave with a song. That's the vibe. You go in and walk out with a monster and keep moving forward song after song."
Durst said he and Limp Bizkit parted on good terms with Interscope, the group's home for 17 years. "I love Jimmy Iovine and everything we did together. We had a great run...and couldn't have done it without them. But to keep moving forward, sometimes you've got to make some changes." And after solidifying things with Cash Money after this year's Grammy Awards, Durst says Limp Bizkit is particularly looking forward to being able to release plenty of music on whatever terms the group wishes.
"I really believe in their instincts," he said. "Obviously these guys are really good at making songs. The producers and different types of energy and collaborations that come together through that family, the synergy, it's working. These guys are truly writing their own ticket, and it's all about great music. I've been waiting my whole life for this type of feeling. They've really empowered me to be the best I can be and do the best I can do, and I'm extremely grateful for it. So I want to put ('Ready to Go') out, and then it's my job to get in there and get in that family and be part of it."
Durst also expects Limp Bizkit to be on the road throughout the year. "We got a whole bunch of big offers coming in," he said, predicting shows in Russia, Europe, South America and the Middle East during the late spring and summer and a North American run in the fall.

Man stabs step daughter to death

A 51-year-old outboard motor repairer Edward Kwaku Asoku was arraigned before the Cape Coast Magistrate Court in Ghana on Monday for allegedly murdering his step-daughter.The court, which was filled to capacity, was thrown into a state of mourning when Asoku was called into the dock.
Family members of the deceased could not hold back their tears and were therefore asked by the court to go out as they wailed uncontrollably. The court presided over by Kwame Ohemeng refused to take Asoku’s plea.Asoku allegedly stabbed his 30-year-old step-daughter Maame Adadzewa as well as his wife Adwoa Aduafo. The step-daughter died while his wife is currently in critical condition at the Central Regional Hospital.Asoku was remanded into prison custody to re-appear on March 30, 2012 as the docket had been sent to the Attorney General’s Department for advice.Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Nana Baidoo did not read the facts of the case and pleaded with the court to remand Asoku to enable the police to wait for the Attorney General’s advice.

In an interview with DAILY GUIDE, family members said Asoku had been married to his wife for 25 years and had two children with her.

According to them, his wife already had three children with different men when she married Asoku and that there had been some disagreements between the two for some time now- a situation which compelled family members to step in to resolve the matter but to no avail.

On March 2, 2012, around 7:00pm at their Biriwa residence, Asoku returned from work and spotted his wife and step-daughter viewing something on her (his wife’s) phone. This allegedly infuriated him so he grabbed the phone as he suspected that his wife was cheating on him.

The situation compelled his pregnant step-daughter to go after him to collect the phone, but Asoku stabbed her, leading to her untimely death.

Asoku’s wife, upon hearing her daughter screaming for help, decided to go to her rescue but she was also stabbed.

3m360 also gathered that Asoku returned from work very drunk

Ghanian Raquel Performing Without Wearing Pants

Ghanaian Musician, Raquel Performing Without Wearing Pants
Just when we thought we had finished compiling our wildest celebrity photographs for the year 2011, a new picture that reached our editorial desk during the Christmas break can potentially top our list.

The latest entrant shows the —– hairy vag*na of a very well-known female musician while she was performing on stage at the Accra International Conference Centre during the Christmas season.
The said female musician, whose name we would withhold for now, had mounted the stage dressed to kill, in a very sexy evening wear, with entirely no panties beneath. No panties means no panties, underwear, no slacks, no beads, just her —– hairy vag*na.

During her performance, she positioned herself in such a way that our cameras captured her — organ which we believe might also have been seen by a good section of the audience, especially those on the front raw. It was quite sizeable, chubby, dark and hairy but appealing.

The photograph has sparked a fiery debate on whether or not NEWS-ONE should publish it uncensored or slightly blurred. Persons who have seen thepicture have so far expressed disappointment that a Ghanaian female musician would have the guts to mount the stage at the Accra International Conference Centre to perform, wearing no panties at all.

This is the second time our cameras have captured a top Ghanaian female celebrity at a public event without her pants on. The first was at a pressconference of an all-female concert that was held a few months back and one of the artistes at the conference sat in such a way that exposed her — organ, that was not in pants in any way.

What is not yet certain is whether the musician deliberately used her —– — organ as part of her stage craft or she was doing something else back stage which could not give her enough time to put on her panties.

‘News-One’ will drop the full name and details soon in one of its edition as well as the photographs that were snapped from all sides and all angles.

In the meantime, she goes by a single first name. It is not an indigenous Ghanaian name. She is a talented professional musician, composer, choreographer, actress, writer and professional artist. she is blessed with multiple musical and artistic abilities and still developing, managing and increasing her skill set with maximum focus and love for making quality and real music.

Men In Tights: Are Today's Rappers Dressing Too Feminine?

While OG purists still side-eye hip-hop’s lust for skinny pants and Vans, today’s stadium status rappers are comfortably stunting in feminine getups and remixing the rules of style

When Lil Wayne grabbed a crotch-full of cheetah print jeggings during his 2011 MTV VMA performance, slander ensued. A disparaging Jim Jones tweeted: “Real men don’t wear spandex,” the Twitter account @Waynes_Jeggings hatched and blogs mocked the Young Money captain’s “gay” jeans x leggings. Seven days later, when Tha Carter IV debuted with 964,000 copies, it was Weezy and his tighties that had the last laugh. Chuckling right beside him are his gender-bending peers like Kanye West and Lil B, artists locked on dismantling hip-hop style norms in the name of artistic expression. But will they ever be allowed to play dress up in peace?

While their antics may not sway staunch traditionalists, seeing influential rappers abandoning the Timbs and triple-XL dress code is already opening minds—skinny’s the new baggy. Long before the best rapper alive was squeezing into lady pants, Pharrell was converting rap fans from drooping denims to Japanese hipster couturiers. Outkast’s eccentric half, Andre 3000 shamelessly flaunted wigs and high-waist gauchos, and Cee-Lo was man enough to pose in four wedding dresses in Gnarls Barkley’s Odd Couple promos. Yeezy upped the men-in-skirts count earlier this year, stunning fans every night of his and Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne tour by sporting a knee-length Givenchy kilt. Prior, the hip-haute clotheshorse closed last year’s Coachella Festival modeling an Italian women’s blouse. Both ensembles made blog headlines, but it was Kanye’s praised performance that made the lasting impression, proving that talent trumps a flowy shirt any day.

It’s no coincidence that the main tide-changers are primarily oddball artists whose tastes can be justified as “costumes” befitting their weirdo tendencies. But it’s an audacity that’s gradually being normalized. With artists like Lady Gaga and Ke$ha being applauded for flirting with androgyny, there’s no better time for their male counterparts to push the sartorial limit. More telling, however, is Lil Wayne and company’s impact on future male style daredevils. Shock-a-holic Lil B has openly declared an agenda to convert hip-hop’s narrow-minded—who knows if the Based God would be comfortable rocking lower-than-low V-necks and chandelier earrings if it weren’t for Yeezy’s rebellious streak? On a smaller scale, 19-year-old Dallas rap newbie DPhil Spanglishman, is spearheading what he calls the X-Y Movement, wearing floral tights and red lipstick as a salute to his softer side.In 2010, singer Miguel, known for donning futuristic threads Spock would rock, told VIBE: “I’m unapologetic about anything I’ve ever worn. [But] at the end of the day I can’t say, ‘Pick up harem pants or an iridescent trench coat.” The goal isn’t to transform average fans into walking glow sticks, but to reward male entertainers with creative license and ultimately, accept difference. No “no homo.”

Ice Cube Talks '21 Jump Street' Remake and 'Last Friday' Movie

ice Cube has made monumental strides in the film and TV world, but that hasn't stopped him from continously progressing forward. Recently on a promo run for the modern day rendition of 80's crime drama 21 Jump Street, Cube talked to BlackTreeTV about the contrast of his movie character with his former hip-hop persona."I trip out people because when you're acting you just want to do good in whatever parts you rocking and people tripping [off] "F The Police" back in the day and now you playing a cop." He continues, "I'm not going to be a cop in real life, you know what I'm saying? I'm not trying to be one but I'll play one if they're giving me millions of dollars. "Ice Cube sounded optimistic when asked about the fourth and final installment of the Friday series. "It's the process with every movie, to me everyone seems like they want to do it but it's really script."While the majority of the cast is rumored to be returning, he explains while it would be ideal the usual politics are still involved. "It's really making these deals, it's really putting a true rubber to the road, it's what's going to determine who's back and who's not. I want everybody back, I'm going to write everybody in and we'll see who we can make deals with."Mike Epps also recently spoke on his potential involvement with the film in an interview with Power 105's the Breakfast Club. "I've been talking to Ice Cube, they're trying to get the script together and I'm trying to make sure I get paid right on this movie or there is going to be another Friday without me in it either." He adds jokingly, "I told Ice Cube, you can't pay me in T-shirts and CD's on this movie."

Hermes Creates $2 Million Gold Handbag

Make it, and they will buy it.
Or at least that’s perhaps the thought behind creating a handbag that costs $2 million. Yep, 2 million bucks.
Hermes, designer of the already highly-coveted Birkin and Kelly bags that the rich and famous love to scoop up like candy, has created a new purse that makes the Birkin (which sells anywhere from a starting price of $9,000 up to over $150,000) look like a cheap buy.
The bag, designed for the Hermes haute bijouterie collection, has been created in four versions, with only three of each version being replicated—which means only 12 of the world’s richest people will be able to get their perfectly-manicured hands on one. The solid gold Kelly bag comes complete with a diamond studded handle and a crocodile skin pattern.
Estimated cost of the purse? $1.5 Euro, translating to approximately $2 million U.S. dollars.
And the strangest part about the extreme price tag? The bag is actually tiny. According 3m360, the purse is actually designed to be worn as a bracelet—which makes sense, considering the purse isn’t even large enough to hold a pair of sunglasses. Not that you actually spend money on this kind of piece because it’s roomy—but still.
It took accessories designer Pierre Hardy two years to produce the new bag.
"We are a little crazy here," Patrick Thomas, CEO of Hermes, told FT, mentioning that he was unsure who would be the ones to purchase such a piece but was confident someone would. "I have no idea. But maybe they will have two bodyguards!

HOT HOT HOT!!!! ( explisive content 18 +) You Seen ADRIENNE BAILON See Thru Dress With No Panties On The Red Carpet?!?

If you, like us, can't see a celebrity wardrobe malfunction without cringing in embarrassment for the girl in question, this one will have you totally cowering in second-hand humiliation.
Adrienne Bailon, former Disney "Cheetah Girl" and ex-girlfriend of Rob Kardashian, attended the Escape to Total Rewards function in New York last night, and unfortunately, her sheer dress seemed to be doing some escaping of its own.
Bailon was wearing a see-through black dress -- which Celebuzz reports is a "sneak peek of [Bailon's] upcoming fashion line collaboration with Dominique Auxilly" -- that zipped up the back and was supposed to be shielded in the front by an enormous cream-colored ruffle, which is probably why she decided to go commando.
You can see where this is going.
But when a breeze struck -- or Adrienne simply moved to the side-- the precarious ruffle blew aside and revealed WAY more of Adrienne than is publishable.
Eek! Well, at least her lacy Louboutin booties matched. Poor girl

Grand Theft Auto 5 gets input from Mafia 2 developer - report and sneek preview

The rumour comes care of VG247, which also reports that 2K Czech has been working on the game for almost a year, concocting fancy animations for both cutscenes and gameplay. Sounds like they're making up the numbers rather than spearheading anything - which is reassuring if, like us, you have hearty respect for 2K Czech but find the thought of them touching a GTA game upsetting.
Like the daredevils we are, we've been over to the studio's official site to see what's what. No stone unturned and all that. 2K Czech is hiring for four positions - Senior Character Artist, Senior Animator, Online Programmer and Senior 3D Environment Artist - on what appears to be a multiplatform project.
Could it be GTA 5? Or could it be Mafia 3, now apparently in full development after a year of rather dramatic pre-production, in which concepts and technology were stripped back and rebuilt?
The latter may be a next gen Xbox title - VG247's source observes rather pointedly that 2K was in attendance at a recent, secret "Durango" conference in London. Durango, in case you'd forgotten, is rumoured to be the new console's codename.
We'll go ask 2K if they comment on rumour and speculation.

Akon Faces 2 Lawsuits in 2 Weeks,Akon Sued by His Own Lawyers, Contractor Over Unpaid Bills

Senegalese-American pop-urban singer Akon has been sued for the second time in the space of two weeks. This time Akon faces a lawsuit from lawyers he hired last year.
According to the lawsuit filed against the five-time Grammy Nominee, Akon employed the services of a team of lawyers at law firm YOSS which covered civil/business matters. That firm is now alleging the singer refused to pay fees totalling to $39, 363.74 (N6.3m) for legal services rendered.
Akon has in response to the suit asked a judge to dismiss the case. It is still unclear whether he wants to settle out of court.
in February, the Konvict Music/Kon Live record label boss was sued for $51,000 (N8.1m) by a local contracting company Southern Electric for allegedly not paying his construction bill.
further more investigations by 3m360 R&B artist Akon is facing two lawsuits -- against a contractor who worked on upgrades at Akon's Georgia mansion, and against his own lawyers, the gossip website?
The lawyers, with a firm called Yoss, are suing Akon for allegedly refusing to pay more than $39,000 in legal bills, TMZ reports. The firm filed its Akon lawsuit in Georgia, alleging breach of contract -- though TMZ says it's not clear what the legal work was for.
The lawyers' Akon lawsuit is the second breach-of-contract suit to be filed against Akon this year, according to TMZ.
An electrical-contracting firm called Southern Electric also filed an Akon lawsuit, claiming the rapper breached a contract for work at his $1.65 million mansion, TMZ reported last month.
Southern Electric asserts it completed more than $344,000 in upgrades to Akon's home, including electrical, framing, and molding work, TMZ reported. Akon, however, allegedly still owes nearly $52,000 on the bill.
Akon's mother acted as her son's agent in the deal, according to TMZ -- which may raise some legal questions about her potential liability as Akon's agent.
in general, an agent (in this case, Akon's mom) is not personally liable to a third party for a contract (Southern Electric), if the agent acted within her authority as agent for the principal (Akon).
But if Akon's mom exceeded her authority -- for example, by asking for additional or different upgrades that Akon didn't agree to -- she may be held liable for the bill.
It's not clear what Akon thinks about the contractor's lawsuit, but the R&B star insists the Yoss lawyers' Akon lawsuit is bogus. Akon is asking a judge to dismiss the case filed by his lawyers, TMZ reports

Tibetan Woman and Student Set Themselves on Fire

Joining more than 20 Tibetans who have set themselves on fire in protest of the way the Chinese government is regulating the way in which Tibetans can practice their religion, a young mother and an even younger student felt this was the only way to express their intolerance of the new policies.

In an area where religious practices are what keep the people alive, it is sad that the Tibetan people are once again crying out for religious freedom.

With China’s annual legislative session about to get underway, the country has tightened security. That fact has not altered the Chinese rule in Tibetan areas that is creating a deadly response from what protesters say are harsh Chinese policies that do not allow them to freely practice their religion.

bangstyle.com Tibetan Tibet Dalai Lama Chinese China Asia today Tibetan Woman and Student Set Themselves on FireThe month of March carries a lot of unhappy memories for the Tibetan people. Marking the anniversary of the Dalai Lama being forced to flee the country back in 1959, March is also the month when things went terribly wrong during an unsuccessful revolt against China resulting in deadly riots in the Tibetan capital of Lhasa in 2008. These deadly events shocked the world.

China continues to defend its position on its treatment of the Tibetan people and claims to be improving their living conditions by pouring money into their areas. But the drastic measures the Tibetan people seem to be taking makes that questionable.

GAMERS UPDATE:

If you’re a video game designer and your mission is to create a relentlessly intense and violent game, you might need a soundtrack to match. Take for instance Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho or Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. Would they have been even half as intense had the score been anything less than stellar? Rockstar Games obviously took this logic to heart and has commissioned Los Angeles-based noise-rockers HEALTH to compose the soundtrack for Max Payne 3.

For starters, Rockstar has taken its time on the third installment of the Payne series which bodes well for its originality and game-play. However, the company should especially be applauded for thinking outside the box and hiring one of the most sonically progressive bands releasing records right now. In truth, HEALTH is still relatively unknown and isn’t anywhere near the mainstream in terms of record sales or sound. If HEALTH’s past work is any indication, the soundtrack to Payne 3 is sure to be noisy, tense, and creepy.

The band got its start at the LA venue the Smell (the same place where No Age did) and has slowly built up a diehard fan-base. A few years ago they were invited by Trent Reznor himself to be the opening band on the final leg of the Nine Inch Nails’ farewell tour. A combination of vintage guitars and forward-thinking electronic textures, HEALTH has established itself as a band with an entirely unique sound.

The band released the following statement regarding their decision to work with Rockstar Games: “Video games are redefining entertainment and whether people like it or not, they are becoming as culturally relevant as films. We feel that Rockstar’s projects have an undeniably raw and tasteful aesthetic. It’s vitally important to us that we be involved in things we respect artistically. Max Payne 3 has a complex story that unfolds mercilessly, and we are excited to be a part of it.”

According to Pitchfork, the band will release bonus tracks not found in the game on the game’s actual soundtrack, which is sold separately. Considering that the band has been staunchly DIY (recording their debut at 4am in the Smell as to avoid recording costs), it comes as a major surprise that they have linked up with one of the biggest game designers in the business. I do find it highly unlikely, however, that HEALTH would compromise its sound and values for a video game. Watch the trailer for the game below
